My friend and I were really looking forward to our pedicures, but unfortunately it was a very…read moredisappointing experience, especially for $70 each. The experience got off to an odd start when we were told to wash our hands before our pedicures. I've never been asked to do that before a pedicure, so it seemed unusual. From the moment we walked in, there was a strong odor that reminded us of a dirty diaper, and it made it difficult to relax. The walls also appeared to have years of built-up dirt and grime, giving the salon an unclean feel. As for the pedicure itself, I barely felt like I had one. My toenails were hardly clipped, my feet were barely scrubbed or exfoliated, and there was no relaxing massage. I even asked where the massage was because it seemed to be missing from the service. There were no hot towels, which I normally expect with a pedicure at this price. To make matters worse, my big toenails were left uneven. The only highlight was the cat-eye polish was a nice touch. Unfortunately, the $70 price tag I would expect more.

When I walked in there was one other person getting her nails done and it was completely silent. No music or TV or anything. When I sat down they turned on the news. Shop looked clean. The lady doing my nails probably said like 3 words to me the whole time. Didn't really bother me but I know some people like to have conversations with their nail techs. I never got cut or hurt at all (I usually do for some reason), which was nice, and she did things that I've never had done before- for example she cut off all my hangnails, pushed back my cuticles, and even gave me a hand massage with lotion. That kind of took me by surprise but it felt really good. My hands are SUPER dry because I wash my hands a million times a day so getting a hefty dose of lotion plus a massage nearly sent me straight to heaven. I just wanted one plain color and I think she generally did a good job. There was no polish outside of my nails but there is some bare nail showing on my pinkies. Not too bad though. And I'm not very picky. One of my nails was not entirely dry when she put the cuticle oil on so it got messed up but she redid it but didn't seem annoyed or anything. I've had nail techs get mad about that and blame it on me so I was expecting her to get upset but she didn't! She was nice and I'm pretty happy with my nails, but I wouldn't say it was an 10/10 amazing experience. I'm not sure id go here for an intricate design or anything like that but as I just got plain gel polish so I'll have to try it out one day. It was $25 for my nails, but when I looked at the prices they had listed on the wall nothing was $25, and the manicure was listed at $15 if I recall correctly.
