I absolutely LOVED my experience at this salon! I got a full-set of acrylics even though my appointment was for a fill-in. My old ones were falling off the day before my appointment and I was PANICKING! But Polished was so accommodating and extremely friendly. The salon is gorgeous and I don't think I've ever been so happy with my nails before. Stephanie who did my nails, is a two-time world champion doing nails. I'm from Jacksonville, Florida and I literally want to fly up once a month at this place because I was so exceptionally pleased with my experience. Not one for leaving a bad review but I'm hoping this will warn others. First, I want to say the owner and the staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was great. I brought my niece in for the both of us to have a mani/pedi. Both manicures were the basic service; no dip, acrylic or tips. My niece got gel polish for both her mani and pedi (which I found out later was $30 extra) and I got regular polish. The bill came out to $246. Way too steep of a price for the mediocre services performed. Poor cuticle care, dry pedicure and streaky polish. I've paid top dollar for a spa mani/pedi and don't mind paying it but this was way over priced for what we got. I planned on bringing my husband back for their 1 1/2 hour callus treatment but I will not give them any more of my money. Don't make the mistake I made, ask their prices before booking an appointment. read more

When I went in to get my money back, I waited for about 10-15 minutes. And her employee came out, and basically threw the check at me. I made an appointment online for a whitening facial at 11am. I received a call at 10 from the salon saying that the lady had "no idea what that kind of facial is" so they asked if I could switch to the basic. I hesitated, but said that was fine. I arrived to my appointment and waited about 10-15 minutes before someone came up to me and said "Jodi is running behind can you reschedule to 4:30pm" No thanks. I just wanted to drop a note on here as I have been to polished 4 times now, and feel I can give a very fair and accurate review of the team and services. Let me just say, I love this place. Every time I have come here I have felt welcome, part of the staff, and truly taken care of. They offer beverages, the salon is beautiful and it is the little things like taking your coat, and making sure your comfortable that sets the tone of a pampering ;-), and they got this down! My first visit was for Mani/Pedi's and they were great! This is where we met the owner, and I had my boyfriends 16 year old daughter with me. It is funny because I have read some of the reviews about the staff not liking each other and I have never witnessed that as a regular client. I felt and do feel comfortable with how they help each other, myself and a teenager, and frankly they always seem to be having a great time! Even when you can tell they are busy, and a very popular place. Also, I want to mention the owner, Stephanie, and just call out she has helped my boyfriends daughter overcoming some skin issues, and donated her time (free in some cases) to ensure she can get through these challenges. Honestly, I've never had a business offer that, and since I have gone in for facials myself and will continue to come in. She is professional, loving, and frankly damn good. My skin has never looked better. The treatments, services, location, and salon are beautiful and the staff is genuinely caring and competent. (oh and FUN :)) Thank you Polished CDA. Went here yesterday to get a full set and unfortunately my nails did not turn out as I expected. HOWEVER.... I called this morning to see if I could get in to get them fixed and they got me in this afternoon. I ended up with Abby and so grateful I did! she was such a doll!!! (Literally, she's adorable) But she took my hot mess nails and turned them into just hotness! Not only that but she fixed them free of charge! My nails look great and I couldn't be more appreciative. Beware you will be overcharged for a poor pedicure. We were from out of town and I called to schedule 3 mani/pedis Stephanie said no problem! And asked me to text her my info. Never once did she mention that it was a waterless pedicure. I have never had one and may have chose to go somewhere else if I had known. When we arrived were were seated by one employee finishing nails, I said we were here for both mani and pedis and she said she would have to check the schedule and about 15 minutes later 2nd employee emerged from the back and started setting up. I asked where the water was and she said the don't use water. Then said that the owner couldn't make it today so she would do one and the other tech would do the other two at the same time. It was strange to say the least. We were never told how the waterless process worked or what was going on. The never cut my cuticles or nails just threw on a salt scrub wrapped my legs in hot towels, maybe a 5 minute massage and poor paint job. My toes were all different shades some dark some lighter some spotty. I was asked for my credit card and was shocked to see I was being charged $246 for 3 so called pedicures. The manicures were never brought up probably because there was someone else waiting and the other tech left as soon as she was done with my friend. I sent the owner a message about my experiences me that I was disappointed that I didn't know it was waterless. She went on to say it's more sanitary and better for you. I was just trying to explain that you should let your customers know before scheduling. She offered to try and give me another pedi but I explained I don't love there and I'm leaving in the morning. She went on to tell me I was just trying to get a free pedicure. I don't think she was willing to compensate me because I am from out of town and she doesn't have to deal with me again. The other two girls I was with also said it was different and they didn't feel like that had a pedicure either and will probably never do a waterless again. I am going to preface this by saying the owner and her assistant Melanie are very nice people, but I really need to throw this warning out there. My best friend is getting married and we needed a place to get our nails done in a crunch. Stephanie was very accommodating, and made us appointments for the following day (today). She informed me that her assistant would be attending to us because she was getting surgery. But it all sounded okay. And again, they were so nice. The bride and I showed up and there was a great selection of colors, the salon was very clean and put together but it was obvious that the assistant was in over her head. As I watched her begin filing my friends nails I knew we were in trouble. She did not know how to handle the file, clean cuticles up, or prepare the nails for the gel application. No protein or acid binder was used, she only cured the gel for 15s at a time (should be 30s minimum), and she was apparently unaware that she was doing a poor job. Ultimately we decided to create a fake emergency so we could leave. We felt very bad, but it was obvious this was not going to work out. I purchased a NW Deal to this place and they wouldn't honor it. I paid $125 to treat my daughter and myself to a mother/daughter day. They offered me $20 off any service instead. That doesn't even cover the tip! Thanks to the information the owner provided and my determination, I was finally reimbursed. I think this place is great. I was visiting the area unexpectedly, and found myself in dire need of a mani-pedi. Stephanie, the proprietor, responded quickly and accommodated my last minute appointment needs. I had a horrible experience at this salon. First of all services are way overpriced for such poor quality. I got acrylics with my sister and as teens we were taken advantage of. The cost of a full set of acrylics is $55 so our total cost should have been $110 excluding a tip (the work and treatment by the staff did not deserve a tip let alone full payment). We ended up paying $154 because the payment was incorrectly entered. They did not give us a receipt or tell us they amount put in for the tip. I know they were aware of the overcharge but didn't say anything about it. We also were treated poorly by the staff who didn't listen to our requests and pressured us into getting our nails done how they wanted. They talked badly about their co-worker and other costumers in front of us and it made us very uncomfortable. What was most upsetting were the racist comments made by the staff. It made me and my sister extremely upset and I'm appalled by the allowance of such behavior by the owner. Overall the nails were awful and very poorly done. They were lumpy, uneven and streaky. Please do not support this business they clearly do not care about their costumers. It is not worth your time or money. read more

We went here for a bridal spa party. The party itself went well, we all got gel manicures and pedicures. However, at the end of the party, although the bride had booked a party for 13-15 people, only 14 people came, but they made her pay for the 15th person. Semi understandable as I know they had to prep for a party that size just in case, but not really the greatest experience having to put together another $75 unexpectedly as no one was told this was the policy (and it was only one less person). The party also included mimosas and fruit, which a couple of the nail techs were eating before the party was over. The main reason for my negative review- I got the gel manicure 3 days ago and three of my fingers have already lost some of the paint, the edges were lifting really badly only a day in. This is the most unprofessional place I've ever been to. I gave it 1 Star because the girl who curled my hair was sweet. The average age of workers here is probably 20 to 21 and it shows. The girl who did my mani/pedi complained the whole time that her back hurt so she rushed through it and acted as if I inconvenienced her. We came for a manicure which means we expect a salon to focus on our fingers and cuticles. Instead they focused more on giving a back rub and exfoliating our arms. They did an ok job on my nails but my husband hated his service and said it was his worst manicure ever. They didn't trim his nails and barely trimmed his cuticles. We get our nails done together twice a month and know what it means to get a good manicure. Go here only if you want a back rub! read more

I was in the area for business and was able to get a last-minute appointment for a pedicure. The place is adorable and has a very friendly owner. She offered me a glass of wine. Love the Decor. I thought I received a good pedicure from a new nail artist/aesthetician. However I thought it was all odd that she did not trim my nails with the clipper, for fear of ingrown toenails . Instead she filed them. Now a week later, my toenails are long and the polish is chipping. There's no way I will be able to go another three weeks. I absolutely love this place! I went last week and had the sculptured nails done. My natural nails are awful and regular acrylic nails and gels come off almost immediately. Well, it's been a week and they are on, secure. and look awesome. The salon is super cute - they did a great job with the remodel! It's very posh and girly. The owner is really nice and wants to make sure everyone is well cared for. That's important to me to feel like a valued client and not a number. I also saw the work the hair stylist did on a client when I was in there. The color was beautiful so I booked an appointment for me coming up in a few days. Can't wait! She started an argument with an employee right in front of Me and then took her to the back room and was yelling at her. My experience here wasn't good:( the ladies are nice the spa or office is pretty and nice. However the quality of the nails were not up to par! It's only been a week and I have 3 nails that have pealed off and I only have gel polish! It normally last 3 weeks on me. I asked for 3 colors and explained which nail(s) were what and I was asked 3 times, then after applying the color they painted only two colors. On top of that one nail didn't cure right and instead of repainting more color they only added clear coat. So nail was left bumpy, and that nail is peaking in middle of nail:( grrr !! .when asked to only shape the nail they evened it out to matcha broken one which I said not to do :( and the file wasn't even even it was jagged. After all that when I left and paid I sat in car 10 min to fix the excess off the side of at least 5 nails 2 on left and 3 on right hand. Mind u I was pissed but I'm not one to go out of way and be mean. I didn't say anything cuz I didn't want to deal with it then . But I can't get over the mess ups. My gel is so thin my real nails can bend. I have to repaint over them to hid the mess. I'm just so unhappy. I'm sure they'd fix it gladly and reimburse me but I don't want to get new nails here. And will not be coming back:( there nice ladies but the service in which we pay should match and be top par! I shouldn't have to fix anything or worry about it not lasting. I am not normally one to write a negative review (or any review for that matter), but I went here recently with all of my bridesmaids for a party ( gel nails and gel toes) and was extremely disappointed with the whole party start to finish. Not only were the girls working very unprofessional, but all of my girls had poor results and ended up soaking off the polish and redoing it themselves the night before the wedding... the owner was very nice, but it did not make up for the lack of organization, skill level and professionalism. I had a disastrous experience here. I went to get a gel French tip manicure, and it took the ladies about 10 minutes to find the white polish- they even asked me if I would just choose a color polish instead. As the lady was doing my nails, she asked me if they looked okay- they did not. So she redid them 3 times before we were both getting frustrated that they were coming out horrible. As awkward as that is, someone else ended up finishing them... but my nails still looks like crap: white polish everywhere, crooked lines, somehow I got glitter on a nail (and they blamed me). And then they said a neck massage came with the manicure, so I decided to get one. That was the most uncomfortable 3 minutes minutes of my life. The lady just touched my neck, you could tell she had not been trained to do massages. And when I got the bill for my terrible experience, it was $50! Do NOT visit this salon. I live for my mani/pedi moments. While I was visiting Coeur d'Alene for work I took the time to get one at Polished. Samantha was so pleasant, professional, and very good at what she does. I have been happy with the heel treatments I've gotten in the past at other salons, but the next day they are back to rough and callus. This time, day 3 and I still have smooth and pretty heels.
