Great location and a welcoming staff. And Dr. Blaurock was the best. He gave a very thorough exam and spent the time necessary to explain and answer all of my questions. I've really never had a bad experience at an optometrist, but Dr. Blaurock was exceptional. Just sitting in the waiting area I overheard the receptionist going far and above what I would have expected to help another patient with insurance issues. Doctor Blaurock is phenomenal! I recently lost my reading glasses and need a fast replacement and that's what I received. Previously I had worn one contact, but my vision was never all that clear, turns out my previous doc gave me a contact prescription that was incorrect. Dr B took his time to make sure I had the right fit and prescription. The staff is amazing as well, super friendly and polite, it's been a long time since I've experienced this in a doctors office. I have been with Dr. Blaurock for three or four years now and I am still exceedingly happy with the quality of service, not only with the doctor (who is always friendly, present and open to conversation), but also with the receptionist and especially with the help of his wife! I love the selection of glasses; they range from traditional to trendy/chic to modern. I know that if I have a problem (a frame I selected recently just did not work for my face/eyes and they were ready to help me select another frame in a nanosecond) they are willing to help. Everyone always has a smile on their face. I cannot recommend Dr. Blaurock enough! Could not sit in their outdated lobby one more second listening to the employees complain about other customers and their personal lives. After having a bad experience with my last optometrist, I searched out and found Dr. B. He took his time and was thorough with my exam. He was confident in his knowledge and spoke highly of his staff, which is AMAZING by the way. Highly professional and the level of customer service is unparalleled in this office. There were a few other patients in while I was there who the staff were carrying on conversations with like they've known each other for years, that is detrimental to a successful business. Thank you to the wonderful staff there!. I had a terrible experience with a different doctor that was trying to charge me for something I knew my insurance should cover. The other office (Dr. Keller) wouldn't even give me the insurance phone number because they knew I would find out about their fraudulant activity. My insurance referred me to Dr. Blaurock and from the moment I called it has been nothing less than a fantastic experience! Needless to say Dr.. Blaurock's Office was able to get a pair of glassed though my insurance for my son that the other office tried to charge me a crazy amount for. This shop was recommended by a friend and it accepted my insurance so I was delighted to find a great selection of frames at very fair prices. My prescription (from another optometrist), however, was not right for me and I couldn't adjust to the new lenses. Since I would have to pay for the additional eye exam, I chose to have Dr. Blaurock do it. My vision difficulties are a challenge for optometrists and Dr. Blaurockspent 40 minutes in a more complicated refraction test, requiring my feedback on many changes. He turned what is known as an objective study of the retina into a subjective test of the patient's correct level of visual clarity. He even demonstrated for me afterward the difference between the first prescription and his findings!! It was amazing. I'm actually grateful for the wrong lenses since they led me to Dr. Blaurock and David Bouzas, the optician who first helped me choose my frames. Great people, good work! read more

I have been seeing Dr. Blaurock for several years. He is an excellent eye doctor! He definitely spends a lot of time with me. He is very knowledgeable and is very experienced. He spends a lot of time examining my eyes and asking me questions about my eyes and contacts. I have never had an eye doctor take so much time in explaining everything and answering any questions I might have. The Staff is absolutely fabulous!!
