This is my go to nail salon when I'm in town. Good prices, short wait time, and solid craftsmanship. I usually get builder gel nails with a tip. Every other salon does the so thin that they break in just a few days but here they are so sturdy literally don't even break or lift until the 4-5 week mark. DO NOT GO HERE ! today was my third visit ! they wanted to charge me 95$ after one of the employees messed up on my fill in, i asked him to stop several times mid way because i knew i didn't like the way he had done them. so after HE FINISHED, he then took off and started my full set. so i was charged 45$ for a fill in that was nothing that i had already had on my nails, and then charged 50$ for the new set. BUT I did not pay $125 for them to fall off within a week of getting them done! Cleanliness not great in the salon - could learn a bit about customer service that can create come backs and referrals when service is great. Will not come back. John was able to see me first thing in the morning the day after I called. He paid attention to detail and replicated the nails I wanted perfectly from my picture. Beautiful line work. I came in with bare nails and was out the door within an hour. Although they accept walk ins, if you want someone in specific I would recommend calling ahead because multiple people walked in wanting to see John during my appointment. Everyone seems to do great work and all the walk ins were seen immediately. I felt comfortable, taken care of, and am happy with my results, a full set with some line work on 4 nails only cost me $50. I was a walk-in on a late Monday afternoon and got seated immediately. I previously had a horrible job done with broken tips (gel on acrylic) and Lee did a fantastic job. I asked them NOT to peal the old acrylic off but to file it down with the dremel instead because i have thin nails and did not want any unwanted ripping! He was a little confused at first but did great! He also did a small hand massage which they dont always do! I went in for acrylic nails. I thought that the nail tech was doing an amazing job up until he started painting my nails. The coats were very uneven. I got white polish so you could see my nail underneath some of the areas. After sitting at the dryer for about 30 minutes you could see all of the bubbles. After getting home I noticed that he left some of the acrylic underneath my nail and I could not get it off. I went in on Wednesday and it is now Tuesday, my nails are already starting to pop off and it has only been 6 days. I will definitely not be returning. read more

The technicians here did an amazing job. I came in with nails that looked terrible thanks to another salon in town and after looking at them I was immediately promised that they would fix them. This salon was busy, and while my nails soaked in acetone I was checked on by 3 or 4 different technicians, I had no clue who was going to end up doing my nails once they were off, but the guy I got did an amazing job! My nails came out looking so pretty! And at the end I was floored by the price! Very affordable! This will become my regular nail place. I did notice, though, that wait times can be long and that there wasn't anyone designated to keep track of who was next in line, so they would often accidentally pick someone who came in later to go first. It's by no means on purpose and you just have to speak up so you're not forgotten. They do a good job for a good price, I can't ask for anything more. read more

I called before hand and asked them if they did chrome and matte, and they told me they did; however, I have been to other salons where I have called before hand to ask if they do a certain thing and they've told me yes, yet either didn't or the person who they put me with was horrible at it. I stopped by in the salon yesterday to get a full set of acrylics done. I was skeptical because there are mixed reviews about this place, but it was the highest of what I had seen around UF. I was taken immediately as a walk in without an appointment. The man who did my nails was very courteous and timely, probably the fastest I've ever got my nails done. They don't really speak English a lot here, but that's fine because it's not awkward. He did excellent work and was consistent to check in with me to see whether or not I liked how they were doe. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because for $23 I think you should be able to shape the nails however you want to. They charge extra for anything other than square tips. Everyone else was super chatty amongst themselves and they did not create a nice and relaxing environment. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I went in for a regular fill in and a pedicure. The guy was moving way too fast through the entire appointment. During my pedicure, he cut my right big toe with the cuticle cutter, and it has not stop bleeding. He ended up trying to put nail glue on my actual skin as I told him no, not to do that as I did not want an infection. As he was explaining why happened to his colleagues in his language one of them laughed which pissed me off. I am the customer and you just injured me. On the way out they proceeded to try and make me pay for the pedicure even though my toe was still bleeding through the Band-Aid/paper that he has placed around it. I refused to pay for the pedicure but was willing to pay for the fill-in and was met with hostility. Was told I wasn't welcome there and that they would call the police if I didn't leave.
