Live about an hour away and thought I'd give this place a try. Customer service, okay. Let and noticed one of my nails looked a bit chipped, no big deal. I get home and on one foot the nail polish is peeling off as if still wet. She put too many layers and when I called to let them know my situation that I live about an hour away and wouldn't be able to go next week I got put on "hold" while they yelled back and forth at each other. no, no, no, just no. the nail tech i received put very little glue on my nails for the acrylics and after 3-4 days my nails were starting to lift. when i was there the nail tech made my finger bleed and continued to put CLEAR NAIL POLISH on my fingers and right over my cut. it hurt SO bad. i was told to come this place by my best friend, her and her mom love this place but i will not be returning. very cheap quality nails, poorly done. you get what you pay for. read more

Today was my second time visiting the shop and I love it! The people are so friendly. The manicurist takes her time making sure each nail is the same length, ask how thick you want the acrylic that gors over the nail, files under the tip to make sure it looks natural, and ask if you want your nails buffed or given a gel coat over the finished product. They really cater to the customer. FYI: They may ask you to pay before they finish the work, but that avoids the awkward moment to not chip your nailwork while digging in your purse for payment. Another thing I like is that they display a sample of all the types of French manicures you can get. At other shops, ive asked for one type of French manicure and received something i didnt think i asked for. It gets really tricky when you incoporate diffetent powders which affect the appearance of the nail bed. Anyway, i see what im getting and lo and behold elegant nails are mine! Usually nail spas ask you if you want refreshments while youre there. But i usually get asked if i want something before i go. They have name brand soda and water- enough to satisfy your palate until you get to your next destination. One more thing I REALLY like- they dont pester you to have othet services done. THANK YOU because I cant stand when ppl do that! Ask me once and if I say no dont ask me again. Really hate that Im moving in a few weeks and wont be able to patronage this place, so hopefully my fellow yelpers can go by and experience what im talkn about. You could even take your lil niece daughter or cousin there for a princess pampering in lovely pink butterfly chairs that are lower than the adult chairs for little ones comfort. Just had the worst pedicure in this place! Hannah cut my toe and it wouldn't stop bleeding, i let her carry on as she was very apologetic plus i was also getting a manicure at the same time. My toe stopped bleeding after a long while but after she polished all my toes they were a complete mess, i had to ask her to tidy them up, there was polish all over my skin plus dry blood on my toe too!!!The only plus side was my manicure done by Kim was perfect. The only compensation offered from the manager was a $2 discount. I am waiting to hear back from the owner. Do not get Hannah to do your pedicure. It was supposed to be a relaxing treat and it was far from that. I now have a bandaid on my toe as it started bleeding on the way home. read more

This place does a subpar job regarding the actual nail services but it's convenient for me to come here because it's close to home and the only salon opened on Sundays around here. Truth is, I was really disappointed with my first experience here over a month ago. My sister and I came in to get manis and pedis, and the first thing we got asked when we sat down was "are you Vietnamese?" We immediately denied it and ended up hearing so much crap said, it was ridiculous. Luckily, the ladies doing our pedis did a good job and the spa package was worth the $38. Unfortunately, my mani looked horrendous. I went in for solar and it was a half-ass, botched up work of shit. I can't remember the lady's name who did it, but she was just terrible. She left gaps in my nails and did a horrible job on the gel. It was so fugly, I had to pay someone else at another nail salon to fix it a week later. However, my sister got lucky and the owner actually did her mani. She said it was one of the best shellac experiences she's had. Second time around, I did not get the same lady because even if I did, I would've requested someone else. Got my fakes taken off and regular polish done by the owner. I will agree with my sister and say her work is pretty good; she's definitely better and faster than the other ladies there. One thing that really disappointed me was the fact that I had to wait 45 minutes before I was even seated to soak my nails in acetone. It takes 10-15 to actually take them off so I didn't understand why I wasn't soaking them the moment a table opened up? Instead they took someone else who came after me.... Then because I had to wait 45 minutes, it was after closing so I got pushed off to one lady after another (3 in total) before the owner decided to take care of me. In the end, the only reason why I came back or would ever be back is due to their convenience factor. Other than that, I would skip this place altogether and go someplace else if possible. Besides Annie (the girl who did my sister's pedicure the first time and her manicure the second time) and the owner, all the other ladies are lazy as can be. If you're not willing to work an extra 30 minutes after closing, don't bother to even try to get me to tip you $1 for soaking my nails. They're also known to throw hissy fits when you point out what a terrible job they did and ask for a re-polish. These ladies don't know how to be customer friendly, and I feel bad the owner constantly has to remind them to not be so rude. 3 stars for the owner lady and Annie only. read more

Went there about a month ago now. Newer to the area and trying to find a new salon "home." My initial reaction was that it was nicer than most places I've been. The pedicure chairs had really nice brown/gold glass bowls and they had nice jazz music playing. They even had four Disney chairs for little girls. I'd gone there for shellac nails and a pedicure. I chose my toe color and sat in my assigned chair. Like most places, they offered to do both at one time. Pregnant and wanting to relax on my day off, I asked them not to. She said ok, but 2 minutes later she insisted that we go ahead and soak my nails in acetone with foil. So, annoyed, I complied. Still trying to relax, I laid my head back and closed my eyes. When my pedicurist said "all finished," I sat up and opened my eyes to find a surprise. She'd put the wrong color on my toes!! I'd asked for pink toes and teal polka dots. Instead, I had pink toes and white polka dots (which isn't a huge deal, but not what I'd asked for). She asked if I wanted her to paint over it, but I declined, as that would look tacky. Feeling bad and not wanting to make her work double, but also not wanting to waste 15-20 minutes of my time for her to redo them, I told her don't worry about. After my nails were finished and it was time to pay, the lady broke down the total price, which included the $5 charge for the polka dots. Not being the person to want something for free, I asked if I could pay half of the $5 since they messed up. The lady all of the sudden didn't know English and called some other lady over (I'm guessing the owner). She made such a fuss and started causing a scene that I literally said "it's ok... I'll pay the $5 and it'll just come out of your tip!" Not typically my resolution, but she'd pissed me off. If fighting that much about $2.50 was worth losing a first-time customer, I hope it was worth it for her... Because I won't be back!! read more

I went in today at 9 when they open and I saw a sign that said for Monday through Wednesday There's a shellac with acrylic for $10. So I thought that was a pretty good deal and I went ahead and went in and told her that I wanted to get the deal that was on the window. She said sure go ahead and she brought me the colors to choose from and the guy sat down and started to clean my nails. He said oh it's going to be $35!! I asked him what was the special for he said oh it's just the nail polish so you're going to pay $10 for a shellac, and then additional for the acrylic is going to be 25 dollars. I tried to explain to him I wanted what was advertised $10 shellac with acrylic nails. He said yeah it is what I just said I could really understand and I said well you can go ahead and stop and I walked out. This place of business shouldn't be advertising that is $10 for acrylic nails with shellac for special, if you're not going to hold up to that deal. He was dumbfounded when I told him I'm not going to pay $35 . You got to be careful places like this deal are you in with the special and then don't say nothing until after the done with your nails in your ending up with the $35 bill. read more

After 2 days my nails started separating and I had to get them redone somewhere else. The lady slopped thru the whole nail job.. ugh! The pedicure person sanded my feet so much they were bleeding..
