I got powder dip nails and they did a good job. The place is typical for a nail salon. My dip cracked on one nail, but was otherwise ok. I don't like when places charge you $5 to simply cut your nails, it's not like I had long talons that needed to be trimmed. For that reason I won't be back. read more

I'm pretty simple when it comes to my nails. So far every time that I have been inside Sky Nails Spa, they moved quickly AND efficiently. They bring everything to your seat so you can pick out your color while you're already being serviced. They provide drinks. They probably take about half the time the last shop I went to regularly did. I've also gotten my eyebrows done once while there and they were beautiful! Lol some places try to arch your eyebrows even when they're already arched.. which causes my naturally arched eyebrows to come out thin and take forever to grow back. But they clearly recognized that I didn't need an arch and just nicely cleaned my eyebrows and they looked great for weeks. read more

This isn't my go-to spot, but while in the Copperfield area visiting family, I noticed the need for a pedi. I used my Yelp mobile app to find this place (I've seen it before, I just wanted to refer to their reviews first.). I certainly expected this spa to be more boutique than it actually was, considering the neighborhood and it being in a new-ish shopping center. they also don't have a large selection of OPI nail polish. I'm kinda a label whore when it comes to that. I ended up with a beautiful, deep red. But days later, I noticed it's now magenta. #odd Regardless, I was able to walk-in and get instant service. I overlooked the menu, and since I was pressed for time, I got the basic pedi ($20). Kathy was the nail tech and she did an amazing cleaning up my nails and also did a great polish job. The end result for that was definitely five stars. But as for the entire experience: It's about average. The leg massage was about a millisecond. And they kept asking me "manicure-pedicure?" after I repeatedly said, "No. Just a pedi," flashing my already shellacked finger nails. There were about 5 ladies in there, and they each asked me that. That type of up-selling is just annoying. They also do facials, brow and eyelash tinting. And they're kid-friendly. They have a spa package for the youngsters; and I saw them bring out a toy for a little toddler that was there with his mama. read more

I am throughly impressed with this salon. I got there around 6:10, and as another yelper stated, I was immediately greeted, seated with a technician, and offered a beverage. Awesome! I havent gotten my nails done in a very long time; I forgot how this goes! Anyway, I have a nail that has a bad nail bed that makes me insecure. Not once did my techician, Andy, make me feel uncomfortable. He took care of me from beginning to end, not skipping a beat, even though I ran over their 7pm closing time. The full American set cost $37 without tip (only reason why I took off a star). Albeit pricey, its worth it. The speed, professionalism and cleanliness definitely justifies the price, but it still hits the pocket a bit hard. I will definitely be back. read more

I had my nails done and either they gooped on paint or used the wrong finishing polish because my nails did not dry properly and were ruined within a day. Yet I've come before and my nails have been fine. I guess it just depends on who your technician is. However, I highly recommend getting your eyebrows done here. They do a great job waxing them (and I think they do threading - I'd call to make sure) for $8. read more

The first time i came here in March my pedicure and paint job was amazing! I was so impressed. I came back last week and the tech didn't buff my nails after filing and left them uneven. I asked her to even it out but it still wasn't even so i just gave up. This was the final result. I was very disappointed and ended up having to shape and buff my own nails when i got home because i just couldn't stand to look at them. My mom and I have been coming here for about 2 years and have yet to have a bad experience. Andy, Viviane, Angie, Anne, and Katie are our favorites. The service is always excellent and the work they do is perfect! Pedicures are done with the disposable liners and detailed attention is paid when it comes to sanitation. The Ultimate pedicure is our go-to! I won't go anywhere else for my nails. They have a variety of unique powders for acrylics (pink and white is so 2008 ;-) ) and their shellac pedicures last me for well over a month. I work with my hands and am on my feet for long periods of time so I love that my nails always look polished. Even my hubby likes their pedicures. They get busy, but are 100% worth the wait. Edit: It may not have been a great first impression, but the owner immediately contacted me was able to have my nails fixed. The second technician that did my nails was wonderful and did an amazing job! I chose this nail salon because it had pretty good reviews, but I was thoroughly disappointed. I'd leave the manicurist's name, but the only words she spoke to me were about getting on to me for letting my shellac fall off and not having them taken off by someone who was "trained" to do so. Also, she nicked my cuticles on two different fingers, the shellac is bumpy, and left a fuzzy from her jacket on the shellac. read more

My experience here was fantastic. I just had a pedicure; my daughter just got her finger and toe nails painted. They did a great job exfoliating and getting the dead/excess skin on my feet. Horrible experience! I've been to several nail salons in my day and quite a few have been an ok experience but this one was far from it. I'm going to keep it short and sweet because no one wants to read a novel of a review. The nail tech was very rough and rushed through the whole process. I attached a photo of how she cut me TWICE on the SAME TOE. Then she proceeded to put alcohol then acetone to try and stop the bleeding which was excruciating! She then painted my toe nails very sloppily like she was in a rush but there was no other customers waiting so I'm not sure why she was in such a rush. Overall it just was a bad experience for me. I won't be returning simply because this was supposed to be relaxing. Especially due to this being my first time getting away and having time to get my toes done since I had my baby. :-/ read more

Walked in for a shellac french manicure & had no wait. The facilities are very clean. The manicurist was very professional. She took her time to make sure everything looked perfect & asked for my feedback throughout. The timing was perfect - not too rushed but not too long. I've been to many nail salons & had many shellac manicures. This is one of the best! Everything is even with no bubbles or flaws & the perfect white tip! Came in Monday at 5:15 after work, no wait to get spa pedi and shellac mani. 1st impression clean smells nice and friendly staff, the spa chairs look brand new and they automatically put tub liners in tun for pedicure. Pedi was nice the scrub smells great and isn't some fake radioactive weird color--just a simple minty white! Shellac mani- Denise did a good job, my cuticles were a mess and she took her time to clean them up well. The paint was a bit goopy but it finished off smooth and she even did gold polka dot accent nail for me. She was personable and nice and I will ask for her next time. read more

I haven't been anywhere else to compare it to in the area, but each time I go is better than the time before since they always seems to cater to their clients and try to improve. I sometimes have some weird nail color request but I always get exactly what I asked for. I love the herbal pedicures and the girls are very good with giving you a good rub. TRAUMATIZED! I do not write reviews ever, but this place left me with tears and a red swollen face. I came here two days ago to get my eyebrows, nails, and eyelashes done. I spent over a hundred dollars on these services. I initially left without fully seeing my eyelashes because my eyes were irritated from the tape used, that I'm also allergic to. Hours later my eyes were still bothering me, the lashes were too heavy and too thick I realized she had done them a lot longer and thicker than I asked for. I returned to have them removed or redone and it was a disaster. The first two attempts left me with remover burning my eyes and having to stop to rinse them clean. So another lady attempted a third time but the burning and the pain from pulling on my real lashes left me in excruciating pain and tears. I finally made them stop and decided to leave with the lashes that were still left. I requested a refund since I only had the lashes for over a day and because they spent two hours trying to remove them and was told they were already not charging me to remove them and refused a refund. So I'm completely unsatisfied with the services received and their lack of attempt to correct it. I now have a handful of extensions on my face, burning eyes that are extremely irritated AND a bumpy set of acrylic nails that were supposed to be a smooth matte finish and I'm out over a hundred dollars. read more

Well my pedicure turned out very good, but my no chip/Shellac manicure did not meet the grade. My nails began chipping within a week. I always get a no chip manicure and I've had them last for 3-5 weeks without chipping even with working as a nurse, washing my hands a lot during a shift. I can't say I would have another no chip mani here. I would definitely come for a pedicure though. read more

Great salon! I usually go to Gossip down the road, but a lot of my friends kept recommending this place so I gave it a try. I got 2 different shellac manis here recently and both were perfect! The first time I got a shellac French mani which lasted nearly three weeks til I broke a nail! On my next visit I had the shellac removed, an acrylic tip added to my broken nail, and shellac mani all for the same price as just a plain old mani! They did not charge me an extra cent for the removal or the acrylic tip! I know most salons would charge you extra for the removal and the tip so I was throughly pleased! I have not tried the pedis here yet, but once sandal season comes I definitely will! read more
