If you're looking for an upgraded pedi experience then look no further! My first time here. My bestie treated me with the 24K pedi for my birthday and it was an amazing experience. It was a busy Sunday afternoon but the staff is very friendly and attentive. They serve complimentary drinks and snacks. Pedi seats are comfy. My tech seemed to be new possibly because we both had the same pedis and my friend's tech was working on her feet 10-15 before mine arrived. She also seemed scared to really get in there with the massage but overall the whole experience made up for it. The salon is fairly new, upbeat and very clean. We noticed they have a cleaning crew that comes up behind rather than having the techs clean up. read more

I had a check in and a ton of beautiful picture and the Yelp said I couldn't in again 4 yrs. There are pictures. First, it was Mother's Day. Peacefully. I came to this spa for a pedicure and I so glad to learn of it. Matta did a fabulous job and since I bruised my toe she suggested an all over nail polish. I agree. She picked a feminine pink. That is perfect. She took 3 hours for Mother's Day special. That was wonderful. The Spa is huge. 40 chairs, tons of colors, and noise was to a minimum, even so busy. The a very table set up with an array of sweets and chauterie boards. The building was decorated for a Mother's Day party. We were offered a drink, non alcoholic or alcoholic. I have freshing Strawberry drink. Our Mother's Day gift was lovely lotion that smell heavenly and shaped in Rose shape. Somebody took a long time to make these. That a great place and I will be to see Matta. Very thoughtful people. I wish my pictures were here. read more

HORRIBLE. The customer service here is terrible, especially the people at the front. Mind you, it was my birthday and I signed up as a walk-in. She told me the wait would only be about 20 minutes. Somehow, every single person who came after me kept getting seen before me. I sat there watching people walk in after me and still go ahead of me. I literally had to remind them myself that I had been waiting longer than everybody else. What really made me mad was another girl who came after me even spoke up and said, 'Wait, she was here before me.' That's how bad and unorganized it was. Vannie did my nails. She was really nice and made sure I liked the shaping and design. The decor was cute, Easter themed. The salon didn't smell overwhelming of chemicals, but it was very warm. She put a big fan on me to cool off. I got gel x for the first time with a french tip and blue bow design. She asked how I liked everything and I did, that was my fault for not asking for a lighter base color. Overall the total was $95. I also had a drink & snack which I'm sure added to the base rate of $65 for gel x. I would go back! read more

Added to this review about* 40 minutes later * They said they would give me a gift card for the review I left, the called me and apologized about what happened. I will not remove the review but I would like to add they said they were willing to remove that tech off my service for good and that they would apologize with a $50 gift card off my nails. I went in for what I thought would be a simple refill, but the experience quickly turned frustrating. The first tech was incredibly impatient and rude, from the beginning he treated me like I was the one being payed to do my nails and not the person paying. However, the moment I asked for his opinion and mentioned trying out different things, his attitude got more aggressive. When I asked for his input on something, he responded with, "Ahh, you want that?" in the most condescending tone. I was paying a lot, so of course, I wanted to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. After he finished shaping the nails, I noticed the colors were completely off and didn't match at all. I politely asked for a full refill since, again, if I'm being charged a lot, I deserve to get what I'm happy with. That's when he became visibly irritated and passed me off to another tech, as if my request was unreasonable. At one point, a lady actually came up to me and quietly told me that the first tech had a bad temper and that he needed to switch me to someone else. It all felt so abrupt--he grabbed my things and practically shoved me off to another tech without a word. The whole situation was uncomfortable and unprofessional, and I was left feeling like I had done something wrong when all I wanted was to be happy with the service I was paying for. Thankfully, the second tech was incredibly sweet, and I felt more at ease with her. But then came the pricing. They initially told me the refill would be $45, which was fine , and I was willing to pay. What they didn't tell me was that they would also charge for reshaping, even though they only fixed the acrylic and didn't actually reshape the nails. By the time they added the reshape fee, it was $55, and on top of that, they charged me another $25 for a very basic French tip. In the end, I paid $80 for nails that, while they turned out nice, weren't worth the hassle or the price. To make matters worse, the whole time, I could feel the other techs watching me and talking about me, like I was the one being difficult. I went out of my way to speak kindly and respectfully to everyone, but I left feeling like I was treated unfairly and judged. It was a really disappointing experience overall. The front desk ladies were super friendly and I loved them but the first tech shouldn't be around people who are paying a lot of money to get their nails done. I understand customer service is hard when you're having a hard day but be aware of that and don't rub it off on another person who did nothing wrong. I've worked customer service before and not once took it out on another person even when I had a terrible day. read more

I came to Milano Nails Spa Grant with a friend for spa pedicures and was excited to see a menu of different options to choose from. My toes looked great and my legs felt soft and pampered. I used regular polish for the pedicure and it lasted for a full 7 weeks. I ended up adding a manicure with a full set of gel builder nails which I absolutely love! Hana was gentle and friendly. I have now come back to get a gel builder refill twice with Hana, she is wonderful and I am still loving my nails! The complimentary drink menu adds to the feeling of relaxing in luxury. After leaving in tears, I can't tell you how upset I was during my recent visit here. Honestly, the situation just kept getting worse the minute one of the managers, Anthony stepped in. He alone was the problem and made it even worse by reaching out to me via text. He's made it so uncomfortable for me to come back and jokingly telling other clients and employees that I was being a "difficult client" is not okay with me. I have never tried to be difficult up until he stepped in. He continuously kept being pushy with me, everyone kept rushing to finish to get off, and I was left with unsatisfactory service and nails. I came there at 5:30 pm and they closed at 7pm. I did not leave until 8:30 due to the fact that Anthony, who assisted kept screwing everything up. My nails are what I look at every day and hour I'm awake. I am the happiest when I have nice nails, and I gotten so many compliments from my nails since I started to come to this salon. I left my old favorite salon, whom I was loyal to for over 8 years, to come here because of the service, the drinks, and the quality of their products and service. Not to mention it is closer to my home. What should have been a happy and relaxing experience before my birthday, quickly turned into a disaster and stressful experience. This salon has taken away my time of self-care that I was looking forward to. I am also disappointed to learn that a lot of my favorite techs are gone. This is really upsetting to me considering I really loved how I could take care of all my self-care needs at ONE location with skilled techs, who all genuinely took care of me and my family. I enjoyed everyone who serviced me, my sister, and mom. Na, James, and Sue were all excellent techs who always "nailed" the look and style I ask for. It's a shame I don't think I'll be returning. What techs are left anyway? Seems to me that not only do they mistreat clients, they mistreat their valuable employees also, which is unacceptable. A business that looses that many employees at once definitely raises red flags for me. The other manager, Hunter was very apologetic and did reached out to me via text. But truth be told, there's no chance I will be supporting this unorganized circus show. They (Anthony) gives false promises to anyone just to have clients come back. I am appalled by how they run business around here. And stop running promotions if you don't have enough techs to accommodate to the amount of clients coming in! I hope this message enlightens all businesses to grow better, and to not only treat your clients better, but also keep your employees happy and loyal to you. read more

I used to love this place. Not sure what happened. I get that every business has a bad day but four times in a row I had a horrible experience there. I went for a pedicure with a friend and we both got the diamond package. The hot stone massage is my favorite part! The woman doing my pedicure had to repaint (shellac) my toenails 6 times because she kept messing up. To clarify, I didn't ask her to redo it. I didn't care. She just kept adding layers and filing off skin where polish had touched. I had polish all over my legs somehow. My friend was done her complete pedicure before my polish was even on. When my nail polish was being fixed, the hot stones and towels were sitting beside the station. Once my polish was done, she gave me a massage but didn't use the stones. I mentioned it but she said nothing. Twice during the massage, with the timer running, she was texting on her phone, or getting up to get something. When the massage was over she wrapped cold towels around my legs. Unpleasant experience for the fourth time. Will not be returning. read more

This my new go to mani- pedi spot. I love to treat my teens to a mani or pedi for going above and beyond with chores, school or a special dance. There are a few mail spots in the neighborhood yet most are a little dated and service is so-so. Ive been looking for a place I can call my nail salon if you know what I mean. So what do I love: - am not shuffled in like cattle. - they help with color selection - offer free drinks - are actually interested in how my service was - I feel they are genuine - have week day specials. ( I was not at all hurt when they gave me 10$ off for senior day- I know I'm +50 but look 30 ) Notes. I have yet to do eye brow wax or lashes or check out bathrooms. Told a 15 minute wait. Waited 15 in the lobby and another 15 in the chair. I tried to make an appointment the day before, but the online system was down. I was placed next to where staff keeps their drinks and right next to the bathroom. Definitely not a luxury experience, despite spending almost $200. Tech burned my leg with a hot rock. Rubbing hot rocks lightly over my legs is not a massage. Polish was greatly improved over my last visit. Hot tea was delicious. I would love to see an adults only section. Half way through my service, a woman and child were sat across from me. The child did not receive a service and the poor technician kept asking her to sit down and leave the vases alone. I don't mind children, but I felt for the staff as they had to continually redirect the child's behavior. read more

I've been waiting to try Milano out since I seen signs coming soon. I came on their grand opening, which was a bit hectic. I did not expect anything less. Most staffs were friendly and some looked overwhelmed. My sister and mother opted the diamond pedicure. During our pedicures I noticed we did not get our neck pillows, my sister asked her tech and she said they ran out but she will go see if there were any available. She came back with three pillows. :) My mother and I decided to get our nails done. We chose dipping powder. Our nail techs were great, we wished we remember their names. Overall great experience for the most part. A bit unorganized, which was a given on their grand opening. read more

I was a walk in today and Tina was the one that did my pedicure. I have been here a few times before and usually had a good experience. Today it started out ok, and I even overlooked Tina getting up AFTER she started the timer for my 7 minute massage to go get me another hot neck wrap, until she kept trying to up-charge me during my service. I requested a Halloween design and instead of informing me that she was unable to draw what I showed her a picture of, after drawing the spider web, when I noticed she was applying the clear coat, I asked her if she was going to draw the spider w/it and she replied that it would be an extra 5$. An extra 5$ to draw a spider w/ the spider web that was already drawn on my nail. Mind you, this was after already telling me she could not do the design without using shellac so that was already an extra 8$ added to my service plus the per nail design fee. But to draw a spider web and request that I pay an additional 5$ to draw the spider is diabolical. If you drew a Christmas tree on my nail would I have to pay an additional 5$ for you to draw the star on top? Needless to say, I'll be back on a mission to find somewhere that doesn't haggle pricing with their customers over every possible reason they can find. Do better Milano Nail Spa. 63$ for this. I was NOT very happy with her job, feel rushing and look kinda dull , broken/fell off within 2 weeks. Also, I always gave 20% for gratuity, but found out she extra charge on the exact same service that I have before + included tip on some of the service already!
