I am extremely disappointed with my recent visit. I paid $55 for a nail service that was completely unacceptable. The nails were bulky, overly thick, and poorly shaped, with gunk left around the cuticles, showing a clear lack of attention to detail and basic hygiene standards. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Before my service even began, I specifically instructed the receptionist to assign me a good technician, and despite that request, the quality of work I received was far below professional standards.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]What made the experience worse was the awful customer service--there was no accountability, concern, or effort to address the poor results.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] For the price charged, I expected clean, neat, and well-executed nails along with respectful service. Instead, I left feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. This experience did not reflect the level of professionalism or quality that customers should expect. I have been going to Elegant Nails and Spa for 7 years (both the old and new building). In the earlier years, my visits were great and I received quality work. However, recently, the work has been sloppy and the customer service not so great. In the past month, I have had 2 unpleasant experiences with the work done on my nails and the employee's customer service. The first incident, I was given a French tip with a clear base, although I showed a picture of what I specifically wanted (French tip with a pink base). It was not until I stepped out into the sun that I noticed the clear base. Every groove and file mark was showing through the nails and the white tips and clear coat were sloppily painted on, along with bubbles in my nails and lent. I gave it a day to see if the nails would grow on me, but they did not. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The next morning I called and was offered to get my nails fixed free of charge.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I agreed and went in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Once I arrived, there was a 30 minute wait, but otherwise, the receptionist was very sweet, attentive and helpful with trying to get my issue resolved.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]During getting my nails fixed (I was assigned another person to fix my nails) , I still tried to show a picture of what I wanted, however, there was a breakdown in communication[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The person who was doing my nails proceeded to get another worker involved and she very rudely and loudly yelled "WHAT YOU WANT?, I SEE THE PICTURE BUT WHAT YOU WANT? DO YOU WANT IT THIN OR THICK?"[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was confused by what she was asking and still tried to explain what I wanted, but grew frustrated and embarrassed by her tone and attitude towards me. I did not engage with her and thankfully, the tech I was working with intervened and started to work on my nails. While the tech was sweet and did their best, they did cut my skin multiple times. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I went to wash my hands, the co-worker was still talking about the incident and involving others, which I thought was unprofessional.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Again, I did not engage her and focused on getting my service completed. At the end, the nails were still not what I wanted, and my fingers were now in pain. Feeling defeated, I decided to just keep the nails. Yesterday, I went in to get my nails redone as it was my birthday and I wanted to treat myself. I sat down with a tech (Tammy) and showed her the picture of what I wanted, which was French tips again, but with a milky white tip. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Immediately, she started saying how the picture was another technique and that I would have to get that or get a full set.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I asked her if there was any way that it could be done with just a refill using two gel colors. She said yes, but that it wouldn't look right[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She also kept criticizing my nails and how "old" they looked.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Once it was time to apply the white tip, she kept saying it was too sheer. I asked her if we could try another type of milky white or even mix colors. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She then grew frustrated with me and said "You either get white or nothing, we don't mix."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]She then stood up, rolled her eyes and grabbed other white colors to try.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We found a white that was close to what I wanted, however, at this point, the tech was frustrated and rushed my service, even not allowing my nails to fully sit under the uv lamp to dry. As a result, bubbles formed in my nails. At the end, my nails were sloppily painted, and again not what I wanted. If you are someone who wants specific nails, neat work, and friendly customer service. I would not recommend going here. read more

Scheduled appointment and seen on Friday, August 16th. Requested service: fill for hands and toes to include pedicure. Requested female and mentioned I had previously seen "Ann" only a few weeks prior for my full sets. Ann was very meticulous and I appreciated having one tech to complete all of my services. 8/16 I check in on tablet and receptionist, who was standing outside of the check in counter, to my left, asked my name and I mentioned I had a 3PM appointment. She asked me about the services I requested, I explain what I needed and with a female. I see it's obvious she has no intention of going behind the counter to check, I tell her I was previously seen by Ann, thinking maybe that's who I was scheduled with. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Reception is quick to reply about Ann is on vacation, but I can come back tomorrow when she's back. She was very meticulous and thoughtful. She seemed very kind, so I figured we were good and excited to have a great nail tech again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After she is done, we walk over to table to do my fingernail fills and it's with another tech, to whom I'm explaining myself again.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She looks at the bottles of polish used on my toes and said it wouldn't work on acrylic nails. My first tech says something to her and the new tech, Tammy, looks down at my toes. She seems annoyed and starts my fill. She trims length, but didn't buff the areas to be filled, just started placing the acrylic. I've seen her before and know she's good at her job, but this visit felt rushed. 20 minutes and I'm done with the fingernail fills. She takes me to checkout and my total was $158. I know they are a little pricey, but I didn't feel today's service deserved to be so high. The costs is for service AND the experience. I should note, upon my arrival they were not busy, but had gotten much busier when leaving. It doesn't look like these techs even get a chance to go to the bathroom! One client leaves another one is in their chair before their previous client has even left out the door! I noticed the young lady (maybe Kelly??) was doing everyone's pedicure and not acrylic nails. Less than a week later(Wednesday, August 21st) one nail has fallen off, polish is rubbing off and missing from sides of my nails. Edges are jagged, thickness inconsistent. Not worth the money I paid! There's 4 people that's aren't good with painting light colors because they always mess up and leaving the nail ugly. The other thing is cleaning the polish after not all do so. Amazing service with Kim. Went with a friend for last minute pedis. Made an appointment for 10:30 and they had chairs ready for us and by the time we left we had our brows waxed, an express manicure and my friend had gel manicure. They were so helpful and sweet during the whole process. Not pushing extra services but giving us all the options. So my 17 year old daughter got banned from Elegant Nails Killeen today. If you know my kids, my kids are really respectful and sweet. My child went in for a french pedicure and chose the most basic pedicure ($28) and asked for just a regular french tip which is about ($3-$5 extra) Cool. When it was time for her to pay, they charged her $48, so when I went in to get her, I asked if they could explain why. They said my daughter CHOSE gel polish and she literally never asked for that. So the owner , im assuming, told me that his nail tech asked my daughter if she wanted gel or regular and my daughter said the woman never asked her that. He then proceeded to make it seem like my daughter was lying and told us he would check the cameras later . I had time so I told him he could check them now while im here because im 100% confident that my daughter was telling the truth. He told me no, had the nice young lady behind the counter give Kayla $20 back, but then proceeded to open the door for us and told my child she could never come back and told the receptionist to "lock her out the system" I am really disappointed in this establishment. read more

I have previously provided good reviews on Elegant Nails and Spa. However, I WILL NOT BE RETRUNING BACK. I went and got my nails done on 12/10/2020 to get a full set done. Ben did my nails as usual. While he was doing my nails, he nipped my thumb finger cuticle with the drill and I was in pain but tried to literally shake the pain off. Since they have cameras at their location, I am sure it can be shown that I was shaking my hand up and down because of the pain. When I left, it kept bothering me but I assume because it was now an open wound and the air hitting it was why it was hurting.  However, the next day while working on 12/11/20 my thumb started to swell up and throb of pain. I could not bend my finger. My supervisor let me off work to go to the doctor ASAP. I went but couldn't be seen until 12/12/2020. I saw the doctor and let him know what happened and was informed that I had an Infection in my nail! I was put on antibiotics. I then ended up having to go to the ER a couple days later to get it drained because it formed an abscess by my cuticle on my thumb. I ended up missing 5 days of work to later missing 7 days of work due to the infection and not being able to type for work and move my left hand. I stayed home and awaited the ER bill so that I would be able to show the nail salon my medical paperwork from the ER and my last 3 recent doctor's appointments in reference to my thumb nail. I then ended having to go back to the doctor because my skin started peeling around the cuticle and upper part of my nail and then my Whole ENTIRE NATURAL NAIL CAME OFF a few days later.  I have been back to the doctor now 6 times for my finger and missed as of now 7 days of work since 12/10/2020. I contacted Elegant Nails and Spa on 2 occasions to speak with the MANAGER and was informed that he would call me back. I gave it some time considering it was Christmas and New Years Holidays. I contacted Elegant Nail and Spa on 1/5/2021 again and spoke with the Manager finally. I informed him I got an infection and I now have medical bills. I also informed him that I have attempted to speak with him a few times and was informed that he would contact me back and I haven't heard from him. I informed him I was calling to see if we could work something out as far as my medical bills. The MANAGER preceded to inform me that I should have came 2 days later due to their insurance and that I waited a whole month which is not true. As previously stated, I attempted to speak with him several times. I attempted to inform him that I have pictures of my thumb the day and the day after it started swelling up and he can view the dates and time it was taken. I tried to also tell him that I have medical documents showing proof and he KEPT talking over me. I felt that I was being attacked over the phone and I was the Victim. It was my hoping that they could help me with my medical bills that I have so far and other medical billing statements I am waiting on as I have LOST my REAL NAIL now. I was informed that I may NOT have my nail grow back at all by my doctor. Oh I wasn't able to tell him I lost my own real nail because he kept talking over me and wouldn't let me talk. I am still in pain now and on a second round of antibiotics trying to fight the infection off. This is costing me a significant amount of money, absents from work, and causing a significant amount of stress in my life as I have been having to only use one hand mostly and take pain medications for pain. I informed the Manager that it seems like they are not trying to help me and he is not letting me speak over the phone that I will have to just seek legal help. I just wanted them to help with the medical bills. I didn't think I was asking for much. I have been a loyal customer and referred my friends there too over the last couple of years. If they would like to reach out to me and not attack me, that would great. I have also gotten my HAIR CUT LOW since I have been unable to manage it since my hand is messed up! I am just now praying that my NATRUAL NAIL actually grows back and this pain subsides. read more

I'm not really ever one to post reviews, but here we are. I babe loved this place since the remodel and my friends and I come often. I went on Friday to get my nails done for the first time in forever and I loved my nails. I felt like a bad bitch. They are quite long and the tech warned me that they're fragile. On Sunday I went to scratch my leg and my middle finger nail broke. Today I went in to get my nail fixed and a different tech was going to fix it. I didn't think anything of this, he had 9 nails to base this one nail off of. As he is doing my nail I notice it's more curved than my other nails but figure it'll look like the rest of them when he was done. I was wrong!!! And in top of that he charged me $10 for this janky nail. It's curved af, it's crooked at the top, it's SUPER THICK. I'm really disappointed and now $10 more broke for a fucked up nail. read more

Got a pedicure spent 48 bucks on just that and he spent a total of 10 mins and didn't put any lotion on my feet . I went here with my stepdaughter when I visited, she said this was her place of choice since they made the coffin shape the best out of anywhere she'd been. I had a full set, French tipped with glitter gel polish. Idk who did my nails, but you know who you are ;) she did such a wonderful job my nails lasted 3 weeks without separating or rising from normal wear and tear. Which was wonderful because my hair gets caught between the separation and its awful. I never leave reviews but this lady just pushed all the right buttons!! I came here to get my nails done with my boyfriend. I was so excited bc it's been a while since I got my nails done esp because of COVID19. So Ofcourse, I was expecting some quality nails! So I scheduled an appt for 6pm. To get a pedicure and a full set. We arrive 10 min early. Didn't sit us until almost 6:20 and didn't start our pedicure until almost 45 min after the appt and just rushed through it completely. Once I finished my pedicure, the lady who was doing my nails (I'll get her name when I go back to get my nails fixed!!!) asked how I wanted my full set. I showed her the picture and she just seemed like she didn't want to even deal with it. She literally tried to convince me to get a simpler set but I said no. I want this. She then proceeded on to tell me they don't do ombré nails and they don't put letters on nails. Not to mention, after she starts shaping my nails. One of them was SOO crooked but she tried to play it off as if it looked good. I told her many times it was crooked and showed her different angles of my crooked nails but she didn't care. By this point, I'm already so irritated and wanted to be done with her. She wasted my time and money. What I asked for vs what I received are two completely different things! I went for a pedicure, I got the basics because I wanted to know what quality of work they did first. I was not impressed with my pedicure, calluses were still there, my feet were rough after wards. The steamed towel was only one across both legs...which did nothing. There are better nail salons, I just wasn't able to get into mine yesterday. I tried them but not impressed. Went in for a regular polish pedicure. Tech either didn't understand or didn't care, she proceeded to use gel which I did not realize til she put the lamp over my toes. I didn't want to cause a scene (my fault for not saying anything), so I didn't say anything and decided just to let her continue even though the price difference is crazy. I then asked for a gel polish on my fingers with no fake tips. No extras, no manicure. I talked to two different people (the tech and another man) to explain what I wanted. (I really don't understand what was hard to understand about what I was asking for?). She proceeded to do a full manicure after I specifically asked for no manicure, just a gel polish to match my toes. I ended up paying $100 in services that weren't even what I wanted, the quality wasn't great, I was cut several times during my pedicure as well. And to top it all off, the gel on my fingers started chipping THE VERY NEXT DAY. And no, I wasn't doing anything to cause that. I've had gel several times from other salons and never had an issue, it always last 2+ weeks. I called to complain and asked them to fix it to which they replied it would cost $5-$10 to fix... I explained I didn't want to pay when I had just spent $100 the day before. They agreed to fix it for free. But when I went in, I was treated like an inconvenience to them. I have now been here a couple times and I can tell you each time I was treated very well. Pedicures are my go to as they are for a lot of folks, just me when I say this place is a go to. While you're relaxing you can enjoy two complementary drinks which include sodas water coffee tea or mix drinks. They have plenty of colors to choose from and plenty of options on the menu. I got the #4 which is the ocean spa and yes it is worth the $55. It came with basic pedicure, paraffin wax massage and neck warmer. I had Ben as a pedicurest (forgive the name) and he was amazing! I'm super sensitive to temperature and he remembered anytime it came to hot things and my skin. I accidentally told him last min that I only wanted tips and it was ok he painted them beautifully!!!
