Shabana did an amazing job with my henna! She took her time to make sure the design was perfect and exactly how I wanted it. It came out so beautiful and detailed. I've also gotten my brows and upper lip threaded by her many times, along with inner nose waxing, and she always makes the process as quick and painless as possible. She's super sweet, patient, and genuinely cares about her work. What I love most is that she takes the time to get to know her clients on a deeper level. She makes you feel welcome and very comfortable, you can tell she puts her heart into everything she does. Highly recommend her!

A friend just told me yesterday... eye brows are not naturally twins... they are sisters.... mine were like distant cousins from another era! Found Elegant Shapes on yelp yesterday.... didn't see the bad ratings but looked at the over-all ratings because I know you cant make 100% of the people happy no matter what... and everyone may have a different reaction.. and may have done something post treatment or service that caused something to not seem perfect.... having said that... I guess I scored because I was a walk in, they greeted me nicely and I got Neda..... the salon is impeccably clean and upscale and I really think the prices are TOTALLY reasonable! Seriously... 10.00 during "happy hour" .. My brows were a mess... had tattoos done to fix serious imbalances and they are fading and really caused me to have two drastically different eye brows... she told me what she could do, I felt confident in her and said, go for it. I am SOOOOO pleased. With a little filling in which I was dong anyway I feel balanced again and dont mind if my bangs aren't pasted to my forehead!! I've never gotten my eyebrows threaded before, but I'm never going back to waxing! I made an appointment online, drove to the shop, was immediately sat, got my brows done, and left. I was in the store for less than 10 minutes! They were nice and my brows look great. I have sensitive skin so it hurt a little but much less than I expected. HORRIBLE eyelash extensions. I rarely ever write reviews, but these were so bad that I had to write one to warn people... I have been going here for 4 years getting my eyebrows threaded (which they do a fairly decent job at by the way) and decided to give my eyelash extensions a shot. I had been to one other place before but Elegant shapes is closer to my home. They are applied in clusters on TOP of your normal eyelashes, only held down by mounds of shiny glue. The glue applied on the top makes them look fake as well. Also, since the glue is applied only to the top, the fake lashes and real lashes underneath start to separate. The previous eyelash extension shop I went to embedded the eyelash cluster right into the eye line so it looked natural and was light. With these right on top, they fall out in huge chunks taking out your eyelashes, they hurt your eyes if you ever pull or sleep on them, they are super heavy on your lashes and last about 3 days until you start having problems. Definitely would NOT recommend. read more

Take your business elsewhere. I used to like coming here but service has declined significantly. Before today I was there in November and the girl who "cleaned up" my eyebrows left me with one strand of hair on each brow pretty much. I've never had such thin brows before. It took a while to grow back in. I went back today (3 months later) after they finally grew back in and saw my normal person (Aleena). She spent no more than 3 minutes on my eyebrows total. The result: uneven eyebrows with visible hairs out of place that I have to pluck myself. They don't look professionally done (could have done better myself honestly). Oh and their price went up. Take your business somewhere they'll take their time on you and give you professional results. read more

Today was my first time having my brows threaded, and I definitely prefer it to waxing. My brows had been in bad shape from having them waxed and plucked badly. Shabana did mine today and made them look so much better! She told me to grow them out for a couple of weeks and we will really get them in great shape. Everyone that worked there was very nice, and the price is pretty standard for eyebrows. I'm really excited to see what happens next! I used to go to Blue Med Spa in Sherman Oaks, and every visit there would take 1-2 hours. The whole experience always felt like constant upselling from start to finish, from the front desk to the injector. It just wasn't enjoyable. My visit today was the complete opposite. The office is beautiful and very welcoming. When you walk in there's chilled champagne, orange juice for mimosas, and a lot of skincare products displayed. I'll admit I was a little nervous at first because I thought it might be another high-pressure environment. Instead, everyone was incredibly kind and relaxed. I told Kelly upfront that I had about $450-$500 to spend, and she didn't bat an eye or make me feel uncomfortable about having a budget. She treated my 11 lines and forehead wrinkles for $300, after the receptionist helped me apply a $65 coupon that she informed me about at check out. I was honestly expecting to only be able to afford my 11s like I used to at Blue, where just the forehead area would run around $550-$600 and crows feet were always extra. The difference here was huge. Kelly was thorough, knowledgeable, and efficient. The front desk told me they would shorten my treatment by 15 minutes, but if I wanted to cancel instead, they would charge me a $50 cancellation fee. So basically, I was forced to accept a shorter service for full price. I asked for any kind of discount since I wasn't getting the full treatment, and they said no. Very unfair. After my procedure, I had to wait another 10 minutes while the administrator was talking on the phone. No apology. No explanation. She didn't even tell me about payment right away -- just completely unprofessional. Customer service here is terrible. No flexibility, no empathy, no respect for clients' time or money. I've honestly never experienced anything like this before and I will never come back.

This place is amazing! The staff are very friendly and talk to you when getting a wax or getting threading done. Linet is the best! She is very friendly and fast and has shaped my eyebrows to the way they should be. I can't wait until she is back from maternity leave and hope that she and her baby are doing well. I recommend her to my friends for threading. I have even brought my mom in. Morgan is awesome! While getting a wax for the first time, she talked to me to keep me calm and not completely focused on the waxing procedure. For this I am extremely thankful for. By having her talk to me, I was distracted from the pain, so it hurt a lot less than I thought it would. I was also able to control some of the pain that I had to endure, but that made me feel better about getting the wax. I totally recommended her to my friends for their waxing needs. I just started Threading my eyebrows for a few months now and I have been going to Alina since I started. I have to say she is very kind and tries to be as gently as possible, but as we know it ladies no pain no gain. She says she goes slow sometimes to get all the hairs that are still in the skin, which if she can get them thats fine with me! I recently got my eye brows done here by Reema, and I must say I am very impressed and amazed by how well my eye brows turned out. My brows can be a bit tricky and she was able to do exactly what I wanted. The shop was very clean and professionally ran. My wait time wasn't long at all and she made me feel very comfortable.
