I stumbled upon Susan Perrone by sheer luck - only I didn't know it at the time. A colleague had…read morerecommended her and since I was clueless about anything-wedding I decided it would be good choice. My dress had arrived late (I ordered from a different place) - 6 weeks before my wedding but Susan was able to fit me in her schedule and get started on alterations right away. My dress was strapless but I felt the need to have my shoulders covered in church and she was able to add sleeves made from tulle that were removable! These straps made my dress feel complete, and I was so happy to have something unique about my dress. My bustle was GORGEOUS she had included I believe 7 bustle buttons - and my very layered Cinderella-like dress stayed up in the bustle the ENTIRE night! (Ever been to a wedding where the bride holds her dress because the bustle fell?) My mother's dress arrived 3 weeks before the wedding (again, from a different shop) and Susan made sure she was able to fit my mom in as well. Turned out that the dress the other shop had ordered was way too small for my mom - and 5 days before the wedding my mom decided to can it. Mom couldn't even sit in the dress!! Luckily - Susan had a dress available in her shop that fit my mother perfectly!! She was able to make some small adjustments that night and 3 days before my wedding my mother FINALLY had a dress! I honestly do not know what we would have done if we hadn't gone to Susan for alterations. She is clearly knowledgeable about gown alterations - and creative! She was able to quickly find a solution to a huge problem for us. I am so grateful for this and I have been back to her shop many times since. I've had 2 other dresses for other weddings altered since and Susan hasn't let me down! I also love her shop, it's very cute and unique and she has a lot of great wedding purses and jewelry to shop for!

It was impossible to find and while there were very similar dresses out there they all missed the mark on 1 or 2 key design elements. Susan and I scoured the internet, we watched clips of the film to see how the dress moved. Looked at dozens of pictures to make sure we were getting the subtle details right. Not only did she do her research she found the dress she would use as the foundation and the material to make my dress at TJ Maxx and saved me hundreds of dollars. Susan absolutely nailed it. I visited Tuesday morning to drop off the dress and we decided the inches to be taken up and she handed me a bill of $63. I was agast! I told her it was too much! I And she said oh we do a good job ... OMG its just a plain hem!!! I should have taken the dress back but was in a hurry to get to work. I feel like a total fool as I am very careful with rates but this one literally "took me to the cleaners"!!! Not going back.

Yelp steered me here for the suede -- although most of the Yelp reviews predate the new owners. Great job -- as and when promised. New owners know their craft. The suede coat (done offsite by leather specialists) was spotless and was reblocked into its original shape. My suit and shirts were perfectly done. I'm usually pretty loyal to long time service providers and my go to cleaners are closer to home -- but the 5 min drive to Bagari is worth it for their quality at what I consider market -- or even a bit below market pricing. Top tip: You get 20 percent off as a new customer. Decent savings on a big order. Also -- parking in this tiny strip mall is tight -- might want to leave your wheels at street level parking during peak times like noon or early evening.
