Dmitriy and his team at Eleganto Rancho are quite literally the best! Like many of the other 5 star reviews, I had the pleasure of working directly with Dmitriy and was able to witness his kindness, passion & knowledge of the event industry while planning my wedding. We ultimately chose to have our wedding here, because our initial meeting with Dmitriy went smooth: he was willing to work with us, allowed us to have free range on pretty much anything we wanted & of course, the venue is stunning! We loved that he wasn't necessarily part of a big wedding corporation that puts the focus on getting the event over with, he made sure we knew that our wedding day was about us and that we enjoyed it after all the effort and planning that went into it. Having our wedding ceremony and reception together at the same place was something we wanted and the venue was perfect for our wedding of about 80 guests. The Eleganto Rancho team did their due diligence making sure the venue was cleaned properly, stocked up where needed and making sure that guests were comfortable. Where do I begin? I have so many good things to say about Eleganto Rancho. My now husband and I were looking for a venue that offered an outdoor ceremony and an outdoor reception area. We were going for a place that was very outdoorsy, surrounded by trees and nature. We also wanted a place that had plenty of FREE on-site parking without having to take a shuttle. After countless days and hours of searching, I am so glad that I came across Eleganto Rancho in Sacramento, CA. My husband and I made an appointment to meet with the venue owner, Dmitriy. He gave us a tour of the venue and immediately my husband loved the venue! We were able to visualize where we wanted to place all our decor and set up the space. There were many things we loved about the venue and honestly, our wedding day was the best day ever for us! Firstly, there's tons of space at the venue for your guests to park safely! Moreover, I love the market lights that are pre-installed throughout the venue! They're so pretty at night. Eleganto Rancho doesn't charge a service fee, there are no preferred vendors. You can bring your own catering or your own food if you'd like as long as it's approved by the owner, Dmitriy. He does require you to purchase a liability insurance, but it's very inexpensive. There's no food and drink minimum. No bar minimum. What's really cool about Dmitriy's venue is that he tries to keep it very reasonable when it comes to pricing! You have the freedom to decorate the space to your liking and make your vision come to life! Also, I love how he has a designated spot for food trucks, which my husband and I definitely took advantage of! We hired a taco truck vendor and it was such a huge hit! Dmitriy offers different packages: just the venue and venue + chairs and tables rentals. Dmitriy makes things very easy because he has rentals which include, but are not limited to: florals, arches, tableware, flatware, glassware, coolers, bar station, lawn games, canopy, tables, chairs, linens, luxury portable bathrooms, and much more!! The venue booking includes access to a prepping area, getting ready room, 2 regular sized refrigerators, a wine cooler fridge and of course a bathroom. You can rent these items directly through him. Dmitriy helped us set up the ceremony area, and the reception area as well. He also helped with trash disposal. Some of the best memories about Dmitriy was when we were setting up our own wedding arch, but it was getting knocked over by the wind -- Dmitriy saved the day by letting us use his sand bags prevent the arch from toppling over. Also, when my husband and I were doing our faux wedding exit and we gave our guests hand sparklers. Dmitriy came out with a torch to help us light the sparklers. He helped us light them a lot faster, which allowed us to have more burn time with the sparklers when taking photos and videos. I really appreciate him doing that for us. He also recorded snippets of the wedding and transferred them into my personal external hard drive for me on the same night. Dmitriy is very thoughtful and very attentive. He's super helpful and accommodating. You have to come see the venue for yourself at night time to get the full effect of how beautiful it is. I really didn't want to leave the venue! It was the best night ever. It was so peaceful and my husband and I even received a lot of compliments from our guests telling us how beautiful our wedding was! I'm not gonna lie, I was initially really nervous about the entire wedding process. Especially when my husband and I had 3 months to plan it all. However, Dmitriy was very helpful in answering our questions such as when it came to asking for recommendations for particular vendors. I'm so happy that everything worked out so beautifully! In fact, many of our guests told my husband and I that it was one of the best weddings that they ever attended. That really made me feel good because I spent a lot of time in a short amount of time (3 months) to plan it all with the help of my husband. Dmitriy also assured us that it was doable, but to see your vision come to life, was more AMAZING than words can say. Eleganto Rancho is such a beautiful venue. My experience with Eleganto Rancho was very easygoing from the booking up until we arrived. The owner was very friendly over the phone, however upon arrival he seemed visually uneasy with the idea of two brides rather than a traditional couple. We didn't think much of it until we began viewing the venue. We had just come from viewing another venue so we had our questions prepared. We started asking estimates, and he was being very short and passive with his answers. At one moment there was pure silence and even the silence was deafening. We asked if we could look around and he let us through. The ranch itself is very cute however it is smaller than videos that are posted on their social media. The venue is an extension of their backyard therefore you must drive through their home to get to the venue. When we started to ask him questions about the ceremony taking place he shut it down almost immediately letting us know that he's "not mentally ready" for a same sex wedding due to his religious beliefs. I completely understood so we decided to step back from the venue itself. As we tried to leave during this awkward moment, he continued to express that it's just not something he believes in. We acknowledged this and decided to leave since we weren't welcomed. He has stated that they don't discriminate based on sexual orientation, yet they contradicted themselves by saying they focus on more traditional weddings. A nice comment on the website regarding their beliefs would have been more than enough to avoid this situation. The venue itself is quite tiny, literally in their backyard. The whole pathway isn't cute and very confusing. The owner had not previously stated he was homophobic we had both names when booking to view and he had no issue. Getting to the venue he was nice but a visual change in his face seeing no groom. Just state from the beginning you had an issue wasting both of our time DO NOT BOOK horrible attitude. It's okay to have your own opinions and beliefs but make it known before, add it to a website. My daughter had her wedding here 4/27/24 and there is not any other venue that would have been as perfect. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and customizable, and the owner was more like a family friend than anything else. Dimitri was kind and helpful and joked around with us. He made a potentially stressful situation feel effortless and calm. He has so many options to provide a custom experience for any party. He was attentive and available. We had no restrictions when it came to choosing vendors and, because he was so fantastic, we were able to create the wedding that my daughter and her husband had always dreamed of. This is my second event here ( first was a baby shower and this one was a graduation party) and I am still just as pleased as the first time around. Dmitry is so easy to work with and very accommodating to even last minute requests. He was running around during the event helping vendors get set up and grabbing things for us. The venue itself is amazing but what really makes it shine is how easy Dmitry makes everything. We hope to host many more family events here in the future! read more
