Floor 3 is the pet floor!
    Tabetha J.

Stayed there for a few days while there was fire alarm testing going on at my apt bldg. It was a refreshing staycay for me and my 3 cats. It's cool that they have floor 3 dedicated to pets not just like a few rooms! I loved the free breakfast and complimentary glass of wine at wine o clock! I had previously had great experiences at Element in Scottsdale, AZ and Parker, CO with my cats, so I was pretty confident that this would be at least a similar good time. I just wish they had a pool! I didn't realize that they didn't have a pool when I referred my coworker and his cats to this hotel when they came through Denver! All well. Everything was pretty easy. Plenty of luggage carts, parking and elevators. Lots of space to set up all my cat stuff. Definitely recommend it as a modern and pet-friendly staycay place! The staff at the front desk was nice and helpful as well. The bartender lady seemed a bit hostile. Not sure why. My cats loved the filtered water!

I stayed here for over a week and felt like it was a comfortable place. Initially, the room wasn't super clean; the floors were dirty and the bathroom floor had questionable splashes but once housekeeping did their magic - it was good. The free breakfast is bomb! It does get busy if you go lager in the morning so the earlier the better to avoid the crowds. Connie was so friendly and quick at whipping out our breakfast requests. They have a free happy hour Monday through Friday and Jamie was an amazing bar tender! The location is a little questionable but I didn't have any issues. The courthouse and bail bonds places are close by. There are some unhoused folks that hang out in the area but I didn't have any issues with them. I walked to my destination and walked back every day for a week (1 mile each way) and didn't feel like I was unsafe. Just be aware of your surroundings. The front desk staff is very friendly and so helpful! Hotel parking is in an uncovered lot across the street. There is some metered parking on the street. The only critiques I have is the AC vent blows directly on the bed, which some may prefer. And the deck was off limits because the owners were working out of the room adjoining, yet I never saw them during my entire 9 day stay. I wish the deck would have been accessible when they weren't around. All in all I would stay here again.

We decided on the Element as we were looking for affordable accommodations, close to downtown as well as public transportation. The hotel has been around for four years and very well appointed. Even though it is a Westin hotel, it is part of the Marriott organization. For an additional $6 we were upgraded to a King suite. It was perfect as it offered a full kitchen with appliances. Staff was very professional. You are treated to breakfast every morning. The menu is basic, if not light but it accommodates most diets. The venue is full service as it includes a bar, gym, lounge space, etc. The amenities are modern, however I notice sometimes hotels are too fancy with their ornaments, especially the shower and I wander about safety, especially for those who are prone to fall or not be stead on their feet. The all glass shower looks fantastic but there is nothing to hold onto, per se. Anyway, we are in good shape but I write this because I am always concerned for those who may not be that nimble. We stayed three nights and had a very pleasant stay as it met our objective of staying in an updated property at an affordable price. Oh, because we had time to spare from normal check out to our flight back home, they allowed us to check-out at 1PM. If we are in Denver again, the Element has earned our business.

Loved this hotel! Its beautiful walking in, modern, clean and green! lol that should be their slogan! Checking in was no problem, you need your room key to be able to go upstairs to the room that way no one can get up who's not staying in the hotel. Our room was very comfortable, beds great, ac great, shower great! Newer technology lights motion activated, tv can be controlled by your phone, fridge and small kitchen in the room! Even tho if you wake up in the middle of the night to go pee the lights coming on burn thru your eyes like the sun! lol! you can manually turn them off. Free breakfast and coffee every morning, better then average. Housekeeping came in everyday and tidied up and made our beds, very sweet. They have a small snacks section down stairs if you get the munchies, with a local bakery's ice cream sandwiches that were outstanding! Delicious, we didnt care how much they were #worthit! This Hotel is a little bit farther down then a lot of the other downtown ones, you can ride the free shuttle then walk a few blocks to the hotel. Did notice a $20 per night Denver tax? on check out receipt All in all we loved our stay here!

A really nice place to stay. The room was spacious and had everything you'd need. There's a lot of space for sleeping and it was a comfortable rest. The view from the room was great. The breakfast was nice because it was included. Everything was good but selection is a little limited. Honesty about what I would expect for an included breakfast.

Element denver 9/16 Ed & Mike the valets were wonderful but there is a $40 Parking fee...... To bad I didn't write down the people that checked us in because they were super nice. I always request a high floor, a quiet room but unfortunately I got the third floor but they did upgrade us to a suite, and I am very grateful for that.. That was very very nice. The staff was super. I love this cute concept. I have never stayed at this particular chain on Marriotts. It comes complete with a two burner stove. A refrigerator/freezer, dishes, pots and pans, and coffee for in the morning. After being in there a while I did notice that the fans for the air-conditioning were loud and the outside noise was relatively large. I don't understand why each and every Marriott chain has different sheets bedding and mattresses why can't they all be the same! For me the sheets are very stiff and hard, plus you could hear every time you turn over in the bed it was like being on plastic sheets. The bed it's self was to hard for me to get comfortable, argh! One of the two elevators didn't work the entire time we were there. The next morning when we got into the elevator to head downstairs it was filthy, I'm really not sure why that wasn't checked nor cleaned up. There is the area that you walk into that is partially wood floor before you hit the carpet. It was unfortunate because when I looked at the wood floor it looked pretty dirty and then I started noticing the carpet around the room, other things were not very clean. For being a new hotel it was not very clean, noisy, $40 for parking and not the best area of town. I MIGHT stay at this particular type of chain of hotels to give it another try at a different location, I don't think I would return to this one.

    Fingerprints on bottom of tv

We stayed there over a week. The room above walked loudly which made working difficult. The beds had food under them and my bed had food in it. We asked for housekeeping to change our bedding and vacuum. There was still food under it after. There were also handprints on the bottom of the tv. The kitchen kit was incomplete. There was hair on the desk and floor. The parking garage wasn't ideal. There was no signage on how to access it. We had to go up a steep, icy hill to get to it. At the garage you had to exit your vehicle, open the door with your key and hit a button to open the gate. It was in an alley with homeless people around. When leaving, you also had to get out of your car to open the gate. The parking spots were very small. People often took up multiple spots. One night there were groups of teenagers hanging in there smoking. There was also poop in between cars. The hotel is within feet of at least 5 bail bonds and a marijuana dispensary. There were several times I didn't feel safe. In the lobby as our room was cleaned, we asked if the volume could be turned up on a TV. They said sure, but never came back. They did a really good job with the breakfast! Each day they had a warm, tasty breakfast sandwich, blueberry muffin, yogurt and an orange. We wouldn't stay here again.

We loved the ambiance, feeling like we'd really discovered a gem off the beaten track, pun intended. By joining the club, it was a monthly excuse to plan a special night out to what became one of our favorite places for date night. It's been a couple of years now, but we had occassion to meet the owners, when we mistook their closing time for an hour later. The lights were still on, so we didn't realize our mistake, until they'd already invited us in to exchange our monthly growler with such warmth. Super nice people, reflecting the vibe we always felt on our other visits. The staff echoes that disposition, always friendly and knowledgeable. Though the winery isn't on-site, I've always been impressed with their tasting experience. I've now been a member for over 5 years, going in at least once a month, and they still suggest trying seasonal options and have broadened my palette... It's illegal to vape in public places, but they don't seem to care. They had signs on the door saying THC products had to be taken to a grassy area across the parking lot, but it wasn't enforced, and that would still be illegal because it is illegal to use smoke or vape THC in any public or open space. The second hand vape was as bad or worse than any second hand smoke I have experienced. I left with a headache, sore throat, and feeling poorly. The jam session was also disappointing. The house band played from 7 to 8:10, took a break, and then came back and played another song. It was 8:25 before anyone was invited to join. The jam was advertised to go to 9 so it wasn't much of a jam opportunity. Also, the they decided to squeeze the band into a little spot in the walkway that was in the middle of all the vaping. People walking by had to be careful not to bump the horn players, and the horn players had to move to avoid being hit by them as they were playing. This was unnecessary because they have a big room with chairs, guitars on the wall, etc available in the back of the place that appeared to be setup for the jam. It made no sense and created a terrible jam environment.

The lumpia is the long version and very tasty, the pancit, chicken adobo and lechon kawali plate is very good and when they have calamansi I try and get a cocktail with it because the juice tastes real lol. The few things that I think could use improvement are the tacos. I've had Taco Tuesday there maybe 4 times and unfortunately realized that the tacos are pretty oily and unless getting a non-sauce inclusive taco it's going to likely be oily. The fusion of Filipino into the tacos is a nice gesture but honestly did not do it that much for me, I ultimately like their classic types of tacos and not really the fancy/unique ones they sell. My friend also got a burrito at one point and it was dripping oil. The drinks also tend to be on the weak side and after having three cocktails there over a single meal I didn't really feel much of anything. The service and ambiance of the place is great and the owner really cares about the customers but the parking lot sucks lol, I'll continue to visit this spot for the items that I feel are good but haven't really been out for Taco Tuesday in a while.

Not a big deal, I was just thinking not everyone wants a whole and if someone is extra hungry they can take two halves. Just thought it would make things a tad easier. They tell me no. They can't/won't cut in half. Ok, whatever. I don't understand what the big deal is, they obviously posses knives... just cut them instead of saying "no". So stupid. 20ish Minutes after waiting, the person who took my order said it would be 30 minutes to make. Which was weird cause what was going on for the last 20 minutes? 30 minutes to wait is fine, if you don't waste the 20 mins prior resulting in about an hour wait. So, I declined as now we are talking an hour to get 20 simple breakfast burritos. I needed to get to work and I wasn't wanting to wait an entire hour and they just wasted 20 minutes of my time not prepping anything, so I decided not to go with the burritos. Someone came to refund my sale and then preceded to kind of scold me for not ordering in advance. He said something about for an order like 20 burritos they want 2 days heads up. GTF outta here. It's freaking burritos. You don't need 2 days to make 20 burritos. And here's the thing, I'm not here for a lecture because I attempted to give YOU business. And I won't be back, either. When you get a customer to purchase your goods, be happy. Provide them the goods. Make it as soon as you can. Don't say no for no reason. Don't make anyone feel bad for trying to give you business. It would have been SOOOOO simple to make the burritos and quick run the knife through them. But, no, the choice was to do nothing for almost a half hour, to refuse to run a knife through them as asked, and then lecture a customer for coming in to order 20 items. It's not like I asked for 100. What if 10 customers came in and each ordered 2? Can you do that? Do they get lectured, too, or...? See ya.

3.5 Stars…read more After waiting nearly three months for Denver's hottest reservation, my group of four were underwhelmed by our dining experience. The Good: The food itself was lovely. Fantastic flavors. Beautiful plating. If basing our review on the food alone--five stars. The Bad: Despite having been in their space for months by now, the ambiance was not there. The staff kept turning on and off the food heat lamps, which were so bright that the light level in the entire space vacillated between dark and sultry to too brightly light all night. The temperature was absolutely arctic. Multiple groups had to ask for their coats from coat check before one of the waitstaff said he looked at the heating. He made adjustments, which did increase the temperature of the room from arctic to chilly--but it remained unacceptably cold. Pacing of courses was oddly timed. The waitstaff couldn't seem to strike a good balance between casual and fine dining--it was a little awkward at times. The Bad: Despite placing our wine flight orders twice, with two different waitstaff, they forgot to give us our drinks until we asked. By then, we'd missed two of the pairings. They did offer to serve us the remaining pairings at no cost, which was a nice gesture. But, it's wild that something like this happened in a place with 16 seats and 4 waitstaff--they missed out on $400 in alcohol sales because of this error. The meal was explained to our group as a "ten course" experience. We only received nine courses: 1. The venison "hamburger" 2. Cappuccino 3. Roasted apple 4. Crudo/sashimi 5. Scallop 6. Lobster 7. Venison skewer 8. Duck leg 9. Dessert This feels like an egregious oversight. And, based on what we overheard from the table next to us--almost felt deliberately misleading. The wine pairing is plainly described in the menu as "five pairings." As dessert was brought out, the table next to us inquired about the remaining pairings, as they'd only received 4 pairings up to that point. The waitstaff tried blaming it on the fact that "dessert wine is polarizing" and "we over poured the other pairings," but those are weak excuses. If you're not going to offer the full 5 pairing flight as advertised, that needs to be communicated ahead of time. Overall: With a price point, including wine flight (had that worked out), per person of nearly $325--The Guest had too many substantial misses. While the food may be ready for prime time, the service is leagues behind.

The Guest, located inside The Regular, is a full dining experience rather than a traditional…read morerestaurant, and it's a strong addition to the Denver food scene. This is a timed, coursed dinner where the entire room sits and eats together, so arriving on time is essential. The format creates a restaurant wide dinner party feel, which sets the tone for the night. Everything feels intentional, from the pacing to the service to the design of the space. The menu changes often and is never repeated, which makes the experience feel special and creative rather than formulaic. Standout dishes for me included the duck doughnut, the wood ear French toast, the venison burger, and the leek cappuccino. The kanpachi crudo and scallop with tamarind were also beautifully balanced, and desserts like Cash's Apple and The Sphere were thoughtful finishes rather than an afterthought. One of the more memorable details was the menu book at the end of the night, featuring the chef's original sketches of the dishes. It's a small touch that really reinforces how personal and considered the experience is. If you're looking for a unique, chef driven tasting experience that feels cohesive and well executed, this is absolutely worth a reservation.
