Not going to lie, never heard of Element before booking this reservation. However, it's on my radar now! The place was immaculate, and I'm pretty sure it opened up within the last year. Some of the perks of the hotel include its cleanliness, the gym was functional and not the size of a closet like some other hotels, daily refreshments including fruit-infused water and coffee and cookies every evening in the hotel lobby, better than average breakfast options with some non-traditional and tasty items, and a 2-hour open bar nightly Monday through Thursday. The only downsides are that you need to pay for parking and valet your car (if you consider valet a downside like I do) and you have to pay for breakfast. Otherwise, I was pleasantly surprised. I'd likely stay here again if I'm in the area and suggest you check Element out as an option for your travels too. read more

Place is fairly clean. However the rooms aren't well designed. The AC goes on and off and is extremely loud. The air blows right at your face. Also they have some recycle truck that came 4:30 or 5:30 am which was extremely loud and woke everyone up. Service was generally friendly so no complaints there. read more

Female with Red top at front desk on 6/23 9:45 pm. EXCELLENT JOB TAKING CARE OF THE CUSTOMER. A customer wanted to use a smoking area and was told by different employee that's there was not one. He asked if the street was the only place to smoke? A girl with a red top jumped in and allowed guest to smoke in outside patio as it was late and the area is not the safest. I thought it was super amazing how she protected the customer and kept safe. When in Denver I will always stay here just for that. read more

Element has been open for business 4 days. The hotel definitely needs to be repaired. Problems range from no air conditioner, and no hot water to the housekeeping staff leaving rooms unclean. Both soap and Shampoo dispensers are sealed shut and can not be opened. The breakfast is a nice touch but the hotel doesn't have enough food to feed the guests. The beds are comfy and the location is good. Be prepared to pay $40 per day for parking. There is a bar on site and they offer a few light snacks. Wait until they work out the kinks before you spend $260./per night parking not included. In addition the lights in my room turn off suddenly then after ten minutes they turn back on. This is a truly great place!! Clean, friendly, safe! Love the location and staff. Kevin (our Valet) always made us feel welcome and helped with directions and recommendations around town. We stayed here recently during a trip to Denver. The hotel is in a great location if you are looking to visit the Arts district. It is a short walk to the Denver Art Museum and the History Colorado Center. The hotel was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was spacious and the water was hot. This place is disgusting. No toilet paper, no towels, no sheets. The bartender will serve you ten drinks by yourself if you want though so there is that. No trash bags. My kids and I saw someone take a dump on the sidewalk for the first time ever from our window and we are from California. The second night there was a party in the parking lot. The people standing outside the entrance had a real nice drug dealing business going on. There was a line and security person and everything. They should get zero but I gave them one because they have free coffee. Also forgot to mention we stayed for three nights and the room cleaning lady never came one time. Like I never seen on the whole floor the whole time I was there. I don't even want them to clean my room but my husband does and they never came around once. He took all our trash to an elevator trash can the second night(pizza boxes). The fourth day we left it was still there. read more

Front Desk Supervisor, Rosa Louis canceled my reservations without my permission that had been made for over two months. I recorded the conversation and will be contacting Corporate to play the message for them which has Rosa informing me that she canceled my reservation so that she could book someone else at a higher rate. She continued to lie and tell me that no other reservations had been made within the past two days when my father made reservations at 1:00 PM today. After being caught in the lie, she said that she would call her manager to reinstate the reservations but did not return the call. She told me that it did not matter that I had confirmed reservations. She was moving me so that they could book someone at a higher rate. I am a business owner and cannot believe the poor level of service provided by Rosa Louis of Elements Denver Downtown. I definitely recommend staying away from Elements due to their unethical behavior. It is not okay to cancel someone's reservations the night before their trip because you want to book someone at a higher rate. Marriott should have made this matter right, and should definitely look for another front desk supervisor. read more

3 weeks in Denver - great location to base from stayed in the 1 BR Suite - separate sitting/living/TV room, and small kitchenette - 3/4 fridge, stovetop, microwave. well-appointed for a couple to stay for a while. newer construction (2019 i believe) - new workout room, good gear, great veggie breakfasts every morning. very accommodating and helpful staff. The location is super - quiet set of blocks, but close striking distance to downtown, LoDo, Larimer, Broadway, Cap Hill - very close walk to the art museums. A great place if you don't want city noise all night. Will be our go-to for stays in Denver. very chic, european styling, with some rocky mountain accents. read more

if i could give zero stars I would, we stayed there a week, the bathroom in the lobby smelled like rotten seafood the whole time, then our reservation got messed up and they tried to refund us one day and ask us to leave early, once they fixed that we were charged over $500 for an additional day. read more

I have to give this hotel only two stars because of the homeless people that live on the front porch. They littered up the whole entrance. I returned to the Element because I loved it so much the 1st time we stayed there. But they have slacked on the cleaning and service. My bed had some kind of candies under the mattress, there were scuff marks on the wall, the comforter was dingy, no creme in room for coffee, only 2 towels , put me in room next to elevators even though I asked to be away from them and the shower head had some black stuff on it. It look like mole but I'm not sure. It was disgusting so I didn't take shower. I reported all this to the front desk and they act like it would be taken care of but no one bothered, they didn't even apologize. The 3rd time I reported it was night before I had to leave when they offered to change rooms by that time I was over it.and it was late. It would have been nice if the manager reached out to us. It's a nice hotel but they really need to do better with cleaning and addressing guest concerns. I even called for a manager and got no response. I still like the location though and the hotel concept. I missed their breakfast too but due to covid they give you a bag with apple and granola bar no water or juice tho. Eh...I guess something better than nothing but we did find a nice breakfast spot up the street that was really good. read more

We stayed at Element DDE Sunday night in order to take in the Monet exhibit and shop at shops that aren't open on Sundays. The Element is about a half mile walk from the art museum. If it hadn't been so windy and cold, we might have borrowed some of the bikes the hotel has to ride to our dinner later in the evening. We had booked a special package that included two drinks and valet parking as this seemed a less expensive way to include parking. We were able to park on the street for part of Sunday as that is free, and there are at least two nearby parking lots/garages that advertised cheaper rates than the valet parking. I have to say valets who parked our care and deliver it were delightful, though. Unfortunately, when we returned from dinner the bartender had returned home due to illness. Trayvon, who is very friendly and delightful, immediately said he would lower our room rate. Normally I don't like hotel breakfasts but when I went down in the morning to get coffee, the ubiqutous Trayvon was now cooking omelets and sold me on trying breakfast. This Element had freshly cooked omelets, Chobani yogurt with lots of toppings available, as well as fresh fruit and small muffins that weren't overly sweet. The young man behind the desk on Monday morning, whose name I did not catch, was also very helpful, making sure my bill was correct and helping me with the elevator when I had my two coffees in my hand. The housekeeping staff was also friendly and helpful. Element seems to have a number of sustainable measures in place. We will definitely stay at this hotel as well as other Elements the next time the opportunity presents itself. read more

I was greeted by extremely friendly staff at the front desk and they made check in (and check out!) a breeze. The room looked great when I first walked in, but I later found crumbs on the counter, dirty spots on the island table, hair/pubes on the toilet seat, a small blood stain on the edge of the bed comforter, and funky dirt piles in some corners of the room. Additionally, and my most significant frustration, was the lack of kitchen supplies in the kitchen. Other hotels I have stayed at had silverware, drinking glasses, dishes, cooking utensils etc in the kitchen, but this one barely even had 2 coffee mugs. This was extremely frustrating, as I had rented this room for a birthday celebration and we had intended to eat in the room. I went downstairs to the front desk on two different occasions to get supplies for the room (first time to get cups, the second time to get silverware when we discovered there wasn't any), and the front desk staff happily supplied some for me. I was disappointed though that we were given paper cups rather than glass or at least plastic. The other extremely gross thing about my stay was the amount of trash piled up outside of many of the rooms in between the elevator and the room I rented. We were on floor 3. Despite all these things, my friends and I did enjoy our stay and we had a lot of fun in our suite. I just wish the room itself had been cleaner and there were actual normal kitchen things within the kitchen. We did not try the breakfast offerings as we had other plans, but the coffee in the morning was decent. Other than that, the room itself was incredibly spacious and a perfect place to spend a night celebrating and hanging out with friends. I was pleased with my stay overall. read more

Wonderful customer service. Stayed at this hotel for a little more than 2 months and never had a complaint about their service. I do suggest making sure you lock your car in the garage. This place is nice enough but there were a few things. Luggage carts couldn't handle my bags and there was only 1 size of carts meaning more trips and something falling off. My room reminded me of a dorm room which might explain the long hair on bathroom floor. And lastly, there was nowhere close to get anything decent to eat after 9:00 pm. If I could give this place ZERO stars I would!!! Stayed here for over 20 days for work....they cleaned my room maybe 3 times...was supposed to be cleaned every other day. Spoke with the front desk staff and manager multiple times and made no difference whatsoever despite the multiple "apologies"-- room still did not get cleaned. On top of this they oversell the parking lot (which might I add I paid for in advance). Once a worker moved their car so I could park in the handicap space they were parked in. The second occurrence of coming back to zero spots I was told I could get a refund at 11pm and figure out where to park. Absolutely ridiculous!! Staff does not care at all and the manager clearly has zero experience with customer satisfaction or hotel management in general. 100% would not recommend! Do yourself a favor and stay literally anywhere else in the Denver area! You have been warned! Would also add location is very sketchy and felt uneasy walking anywhere around the hotel due to the large population of homeless people/bail bond locations surrounding! read more

Stayed here for three nights in February. The staff were all genuinely friendly and accommodating. Not just nice because it was their job. I was in the basic king room. There was kitchen sink, microwave, coffee maker and good sized refrigerator in the room. It was also stocked with some kitchen utensils, a couple of plates, dish towels, dish soap, etc. The bed was was super comfortable. Pillows ran from super soft to somewhat firm. Down comforter and a regular comforter made it warm and snuggly. Sheets were a bit scratchy. Everything was modern and clean. There was a fair amount of traffic noise until about nine but no noise from the hall or other rooms. The bar had a great happy hour and various flatbreads and snacks that were quite tasty. My friends and I came to Denver from Texas for a weekend trip and found this hotel extremely appealing. We booked months in advance and called days before to ensure we would leave Texas on time to check in on time. The employees told us that check in is at 3pm but that we could definitely check in early, so we decided that we would get to Denver early. We called at 8am while still on the road to see if we would be able to check in early and the employee said that the room most likely wouldn't be ready until 12pm-1pm but that we could call at 10am just to see. We called at 10am, nothing was available so we waited until 12:30pm to call again. They again did not have a room ready. Called again at 1:30pm, room was still not ready. Meanwhile, we had gotten to Denver at 10am and were waiting in our car since that time. We checked again at 2:50pm, 10 minutes before check in, and they said the room was still dirty. I asked if it would be ready by 3pm since that's the check in time and he said that it might be, but they are unsure. If you tell someone that the check in time is at 3pm, you should have the rooms ready by 3pm! If we hadn't been told that we could check in early, we would have left Texas later. We had been on the road all night long just to be in Denver early, assuming that we would be able to have an early check in. We have been exhausted and this has been such an awful inconvenience that has put a strain on our original plans. If you are thinking of booking here, keep in mind that they might not have your room ready until after check in. read more

Normally I love Marriott hotels, but this was not a good experience, at all. Firstly, while the rooms are reasonably priced, be prepared to shell out $25-40 a night for parking, with the highest being the valet only parking at the Element itself, and lowest the surrounding parking lots available. Secondly, the rooms and the entire hotel are cheaply made. The walls are so thin between rooms you can hear everything going on next door and above you, at all times. The shower doesn't drain, and the water was cold, not hot.The tv in my room was hanging crookedly off the wall like it was about to fall off, and the screws were stripped so it couldn't be fixed. It's December and half the time the air blowing into the room was cold, leaving it freezing. A smoke detector above the bed flashed constantly with a bright white light, making it hard to sleep. As a party of 6+ people with multiple rooms, the entire group had similar problems. The bar was poorly stocked and breakfast was good but sparse with options. All in all, the only thing this hotel has going for it is location and decent pricing, but I would 100% pay more to stay elsewhere next time I'm in Denver. read more
