I am a HUGE Left Hand Brewing fan here and learning that they opened a second location in Denver was heaven for me! We decided to get out of the city for a bit and check out some of the breweries that sit along the RiNo neighborhood. Denver's RiNo neighborhood bears similarities to downtown Las Vegas' Arts District, with numerous breweries within walking distance of each other. We took a rideshare here and we couldn't find them at first because their signs are easily hidden. It looks like the building they're in was constructed just recently, with the suite next door currently under construction and a concert hall directly across from them. My dad and I ordered their Breezy Does It fruited sour and my mom ordered, I believe, their Pumpkin Spice Latte Nitro (I should really be taking notes before writing my reviews). We ordered our beers in 10 oz glasses and we weren't expecting them to be that big. For food, I ordered a Smash Mouth burger with curly fries, my dad ordered a chicken sandwich also with curly fries, and my mom ordered a small plate of meatballs. We also got to share a plate of nachos. The food portions were also big and came out quickly. I'm very happy that I finally got to experience Left Hand Brewing in person. As I'm a fruity/sour beer lover, the beer was absolutely amazing. The food was good, but it was extremely spicy for my taste, especially the curly fries, with my parents saying the same thing. I feel like the fries were a bit over seasoned with various spices. The service was exceptional and I loved being in a massive brewery that has plenty of seating on the inside and the outside. I'll have to go to the one in Longmont, too!

Left hand is a pretty cool spot! We came to check it off the pub pass and I got the test kitchen ipa and it was awesome! The inside is very modern with high ceilings and a big bar. We didn't get any food but it looked good. For a Saturday at 1 pm it's pretty quiet, not sure when it gets too busy. Anyways, happy we came by for a beer! Good spot

First time in today and man is it big! There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The bar seating is extensive. We went when it wasn't busy so our service was great. I can see how it would be very busy before and after a show at Mission so maybe try during non-peak times. My food was good, beer was decent. I would recommend. Good to know: there is a parking lot and parking garage, then you walk to the pub. When you first pull in, you can't see the entrance to LH, it's tucked back by the Mission Ballroom entrance.

This was a great place to get dinner before a concert at Mission Ballroom. The burgers and curly fries were good and reasonably priced. We really liked sitting out on the patio since the weather was nice.

If you're planning on coming here before a show at the mission, don't. I'd suggest coming here when nothing is happening. First off, the service was super slow. Yes, the place was packed, but we weren't even acknowledged at our table until ten minutes later. The staff are very kind and nice, but I don't think they can fully run a packed house smoothly. My sister ordered a customized pizza, and it came out completely wrong. Everything she didn't want was on it, and everything she did want was not there. I had one bite and put it back down. Plus, she finished all but two slices before my pizza was brought out. Stage Dive. More like a dive of a pizza. The whole thing was floppy and super thin. I picked up one piece and everything fell off. The cheese to topping ratio was way off, and honestly, it was probably one of the worst pizzas I've had. The staff are very considerate, however, and noticed that I'd been waiting for my pizza for a while and gave it to me for free without me saying anything. Although I didn't indulge in any alcoholic beverages, people seemed to be enjoying them, so I'd suggest coming here for drinks rather than the food.

So excited to try this restaurant. We stopped by around lunch time. Not a lot of people at that time. Lots of sitting and large bar area with tv's. I ordered the Mango Rita frozen margarita They use mango purée to make it which gives it a better taste. They also had a watermelon one, that I still need to try. House margarita sounded good and the bartender mentioned those are also very popular. Had a bogo coupon so decided to try two pizzas the Stage Dive Pizza and Summer Nights- BBQ. I really enjoyed both, yum. Pizza runs from $15-$20. Definitely a great place to enjoy with friends! Will come back next time I'm going to a concert at Mission Ballroom.

I really wanted to love this spot as it's new in my neighborhood but it's eh. I hope some of the things we noticed and experienced are just new restaurants kinks that will be ironed out in time. The parking situation was very odd. There are signs posted everywhere not to park in the lot stating 'no free parking at anytime'. Their website says it's alright to park there but it gave me serious trust issues. I never want a parking ticket. If you're looking to work here, I wouldn't suggest it. The wifi is very spotty and expires every 20/30 mins or so. It's very frustrating because there is very bad cell service here as well. The fries were the best part of the meal for me. The chicken sandwich looks delish but the slaw they put in the bottom bun makes it's very soggy and it falls apart. I don't see myself coming back to this location for at least a few months.

Tofu lettuce wraps and Hop Goblin IPA. Yum!

I'm really happy Left Hand opened a location closer to me. It's a really nice place! Lots of seating. Huge bar space. Delicious food. And great beer. My only slight criticism is that I had to wait to get a laminated QR code. Maybe they didn't want to put stickers all over the joint. But if the QR codes are distributed like paper menus, it kinda of defeats the purpose of the menu only being on people's phones imo. And god help them if their guest internet goes down. I had zero bars here for some reason. Maybe it'll get better once people move into the neighborhood. When I visited, this location was located in the middle of a lot of high rise construction. Conveniently located right next to Mission Ballroom. So you can get a quick meal and drink in before a concert. They had a $5 beer at Left Hand when I visited, which is much cheaper than Mission Ballroom was offering.

Cool spot right next to The Mission if you are looking for a place to get some good food and drinks before a show. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and selections.

I was looking forward to coming here. My old craft beer store in California used to buy beer from Left Hand so I've had some of their beer and was looking forward to trying more of their beer at the source. First off, the location sucks. I had to pay for parking since there was an event going on. Then I had trouble finding the brewery once I parked. Once I found it I got a flight of beers. The beer was okay but not as good as I hoped. The only beer that stood out was the Breezy Does It sour. Other than that I left disappointed.

The Left Hand location in Longmont is probably my favorite "big" Colorado brewery and I've been wanting to check out this location for a while. The location is in a building literally right next to the Mission venue in RiNo, but it was very confusing to find because it's not a standalone location. Also, it costs $6 to park which is a super downside in my opinion for a brewery! I understand they're next to a music venue but if there's no show then I feel parking should be free? The beer itself was good - I got the Druicy Fruit and my husband got the classic milk stout; $8 for a pint is definitely on the upper end of the range for me, and then nitro bumps up to $8.50...? It might have been more worth it if there were more people there and the ambiance was more lively. The vibe was interesting because we were in this industrial area with no other businesses around us (that were open), and we were there for trivia night but there were only 3-4 teams playing. I think it'll be more of a destination when there's a show at Mission hopefully. Overall, I'll definitely go back to the Longmont location but not quite a must go back to the Rino location for me yet.

Stopped here before a show, super convenient location! I was floored with this salad! The walnuts were my favorite part, I recommend adding the grilled chicken. I will definitely come here again

Yep! They have wifi. And it works well. When I visited, they only had QR code menus and cell service is spotty where they are. So they gave me the wifi info the second I sat down.

Loved listening to the bands, and exploring the huge space. They have olllllld school pinball game, giant jenga, gigantic cornhole, trash can sized beer pong, and ladder ball (normal size). But loved the tables and chairs upstairs with the perfect view of the stage! Service was my only complaint- I think the first guy at the bar was having a hard time because they were so busy. I waited at the bar for a while without being acknowledged, then by the time he did finally notice me he just held up a finger. Finally a chick came over and took my order, but it took a while. She was perfectly nice, however, and it wouldn't stop me from returning or recommending them. There is also a loud rowdy group that was kind of monopolizing all of the large games so we didn't get a chance to play those. Beer was decent although they do add a 20% charge. What a fun venue in the basement of Oskar Blues in Downtown Denver!…read more We had been wanting to check out the venue and just happened upon half price tickets for a show on a Friday night. We didn't know the bands, but that has never stopped us before. Black Buzzard is conveniently located on major bus routes into downtown, so we took the bus from the Berkeley neighborhood and walked less than a block to the venue. We were a bit early for doors, so we grabbed a couple of stools at Oskar Blues for a beer before the show. Pro Tip: Although the beverage selection is the same at Oskar Blues & Black Buzzard, you must open separate tabs at each. Black Buzzard has a mix of high top tables and standing space for live music. We had a rather charmed experience. The show was extremely undersold. So, there was plenty of space. And, the band members were super friendly and hung out with us before the show. The bands were fantastic and we had a wonderful time jamming out. Unfortunately, the stage is not very high, so sightlines at a sold out show will not be ideal for short folks like me. In the future, I may stick to their comedy shows here, which I assume are seated.
