Hm..how should i start? I should put as much details as possible since I am the first one to review this place. I've been here for 10+ times and this place never disappointed me. Let me make a list: 1) This place takes PPO insurance (If you are on Broadcom PPO, you are covered for 30 times a year ); 2) They do both acupuncture and reflexology (that also includes back/neck/shoulders massage); 3) Each session is 1 hour long (you may request for a 1.5 hr session); 4) Cost is $80/hr or if you buy a package of 10 it's $700; 5) Appointments will be better since this place gets really booked up on Saturdays. Weekdays may be OK without appointments. I only did the reflexology and all I have to say is "Tracy is the BEST", she is one of the reflexlogists there and she really knows the tricks to make me relax. Her caring and professionalism is the reason for me to go there for 10+ times. My husband had the acupuncture because his digestive system had a little bit of problem. After 10 treatments, my husband is so much better now. I give the highest recommendation to this place. read more

I was never a believer of eastern healing till now!!! I accompanied my friend who had pulled a muscle in his back from lifting weights and could not move properly for 2 weeks. He tried going to the chiropractor but it did not help at all. He then heard that acupuncture could instantly solve the problem so he decided to give it a try. After the treatment he said he felt completely back to normal! It was amazing! I went home and told my girlfriend and she was very intrigued with this whole acupuncture thing. She wanted to make an appt right away. Soon as Mike the owner saw my girlfriend he asked her if she was doing something different involving her reproductive system. She was shocked because she had just got off birth control from being on it many years. She had been breaking out in certain areas that she normally didn't. He said he could help with that by balancing her hormones from the transition. His treatment would basically balance her whole body and make her organs function more properly. I was still a bit weary cause how could sticking needles in your body possibly do all of this? It makes no sense right?! So I decided to hold off on getting any treatments and let my girlfriend be the guinea pig. Fast forward 5 weeks 10 treatments later, my girlfriend's breakouts were almost completely gone, she said she felt more energized, was able to go to the restroom daily now with ease (if you know what I mean), and to top it off she lost 12 pounds! Mike said the weight loss was due to her metabolism functioning more properly after the treatments. You know how girls are and their weight! She went and told all her friends and they all went to Mike as well. Everybody had different results from weight loss, to having lactose cured!!, and a few even got pregnant from the fertility treatments! As for my own results, it was pretty much similar to my girlfriends except I didn't have dramatic weight loss. Mike is great at explaining how our body works and functions. He tells you what you can adjust in your lifestyle to take care of your body. Element Healthcare has always been helpful to my wellbeing. Mike knows what our body needs and gives us the proper treatments. More than anything, he has helped me in crucial times where I could not find pain relief anywhere else. I sprained my ankle one time and he treated me with cupping and pain decreased instantly. I have gone into Element Healthcare for low back pain, injuries, fatigue, soreness etc. I have received different treatments. Their reflexology is something you won't find anywhere else. I have tried acupuncture with other acupuncturists and others have not been as helpful. I live further away now from Element Healthcare but I know that it is worth the distance because it's the only place I know that will treat my body based on what I need. I recently hurt my back carrying my 8 month old for long hours at disneyland and could not find relief for 8 days. Mike treated me and I am already feeling much better. I found this acupuncturist because they highlighted that they do cosmetic acupuncture. I want to try a different way to obtain the same kind of look at I'm getting with other types of treatments like Botox and so forth I did my first treatment for cosmetic acupuncture and it was amazing I feel like Michael really knows what he's doing the very comfortable and I can't wait to finish the multiple sessions to see the final outcome. Life after Element Healthcare........ I got my life back!!! To give you some background. I had chronic pain for 2 solid years. Working like I had, as a Program Director for a leading drug rehab in OC, I knew quite well the horrific effects that prescribed medications could have on a person. During my employment at the rehab I witnessed countless misguided people that were suffering from chronic pain, take the advice of their doctor and begin the regimen of prescribed pain killers only to end up walking through our doors a year or two later addicted, depressed, and a shadow of the person they once were. I knew that this was not and could not be a solution for me. Suffering every day with chronic pain in my lower neck and upper back caused by a degenerative condition, I lived daily with wretched headaches and the feeling of bone on bone where my neck meets my upper back. The pain was excruciating. One day my husband returned home after receiving acupuncture at Element Healthcare for arthritis in his knees. He said he felt so good after his treatment and that his pain had ceased. I didn't waste a minute. I immediately called Element Healthcare and scheduled an appointment with Dr. Michael Liang. I'll never forget my first appointment with him. It was a Thursday, my impression of Element Healthcare was that it was a peaceful office with friendly, caring staff. Dr. Michael Liang was very informative and explained how acupuncture works. All I had to do was explain the location of my pain and how long I had it and Dr. Michael did the rest. To be honest, I didn't really expect for it to work. As a part of pain relief without medications, I religiously get massages and although I can't deny they feel great and they relax the muscles, they are very temporary and I wind up in pain again sometimes just an hour after receiving a massage. I also use acupressure and chiropractic care on a regular basis, none of these yielding lasting results. Upon arrival I was placed in a clean, tranquil room with soothing music playing on low in the background. I noticed a warm soothing feeling from a heat lamp that he placed over the needles. That's the last I remember, I think I fell asleep. When it was done, I thanked him and left feeling really good but skeptical that it would last. That night I was amazed that I was still 100% pain free for the first time in 2 years! I think I must have mentioned to my husband 20 times that first night that I was pain free!!! The next day, the day after that and many days to follow, I made that same announcement to my husband. I have been pain free for many Thursdays since my first visit to Element Healthcare. He has never had to treat that area again. I now am seeing Dr. Michael Liang for acupuncture to balance my hormones after going through menopause. I would like to report that since receiving acupuncture for my hormones. I no longer experience hot flashes and I sleep like a baby all through the night-a luxury that I hadn't had since going through menopause. I cannot say enough about Element Healthcare. They gave me my life back! Dr. Michael Liang is a second generation acupuncturist who trained in China and has a profound understanding of the human body and the workings of acupuncture, mixed with his genuine care for people, the experience you receive there is like non other. He goes above and beyond in every way to make a person's life better. The staff are all well trained and busy, busy, busy. I can't recommend this place enough.
