We stopped for one night. It's convenient, has a nice lobby and solid breakfast. Parking is easy and the staff were nice. The room was laid out well and hallways appeared clean. Also there's an espresso machine for breakfast! The not so good: the water pressure was super weak. There were hairs in all our hand towels. The floors were super sticky. The air conditioning made so many weird bumping noises and it was hard to regulate the temp in the room. read more

This is now our "go to" hotel when visiting family in West Knoxville TN from now on! Nice quiet location, very clean and modern, staff is wonderful (especially Michael at the front desk). Love the large rooms with the kitchenette that makes longer hotels stays so much more comfortable. They do a good job with the complimentary breakfast and while the gym isn't as equipped as some hotels, it has everything you need to get a great cardio + weights workout in. read more

i've stayed at this location twice. once in 2022 and this year in 2024. the overall appearance of the hotel is clean and inviting. however, there were a couple of things that i wish would've worked out better with my stay. i stayed for 6 days. while staying no room service visited the room to freshen the room, although it was requested every other day in the hotel app. also, the water was never quite hot. i would call it very warm, but not hot. i visited guest services twice while staying, and they said they would have maintenance check it out but i was never provided confirmation of any updates. on the second checkin about hot water, the guest services personnel suggested a room change, and i asked to check the water of those rooms, and those rooms also had only warm water. they were very nice about the process but there was no resolution. the room itself also was not the cleanest. the soap and shampoo dispensers were hanging slightly off the shower wall. along with what i assumed was a razzle of mold (make sure to bring shower shoes). the one thing i can say, the staff is friendly. the two upsides of this hotel is the morning continental breakfast and they accept pets (so be mindful when coming in the lobby and walking around outside). i always take hotel stays with a grain of salt, because i know they will never be in the same pristine condition as my personal home... but there are just certain comforts i will not compromise on, and hot water is one of them. enjoy your visit. read more

Clean hotel. Looks and smells clean. Didn't have much interaction with the staff. Whatever cleaner they used on the floor made it sticky. That was a bit off putting. The parking lot is a pot hole filled nightmare. Some were deep enough to cause me to worry about our tires. The location is safe and quiet. Took stars off because of the sticky floor, the parking lot, and the limited breakfast items. Would you like some eggs? Or would you like some eggs? How about neither since I'm allergic? Had to settle with a day packaged bagel since dairy free items were as limited as anything other than eggs. read more

As others have previously stated, floors are sticky. As soon as we entered the room, I noticed an unpleasant smell. Beds are uncomfortable, no shower gel in the bathroom, and because of its proximity to the highway, it's very hard to get a good night's rest. First and last for me. read more

We really liked this hotel. The property is extremely clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly. The room has a mini-frig, microwave, and a toaster. The bed slept very well. The tv does have streaming capabilities. The breakfast is amazing- you have someone making fresh eggs (shell eggs), sausage, breakfast tacos- or you can use the yogurt bar with fresh fruit and toppings. There is fresh fruit and muffins,bagels- as well as gluten free options. the only thing I would suggest is that if you are a light sleeper you ask for a room opposite the highway- and the highway is busy all night long. Great experience overall. Our check in process was easy and the front desk woman was very friendly and helpful - to include the staff member offering complimentary wine and cheese. He was great also! The rooms are very very spacious with an addition to a small kitchen added - score! Our bedding and bathroom all were clean and fresh. AC worked great and doesn't sound like a motor running all night long. TVs had a great selection and have login for Netflix, YouTube, etc. Pool in the back area with two fairly large fire pits was nice. All very clean and well up-kept. This hotel is by far the friendliest place we have ever stayed. From the front desk staff right down to maintenance and housekeeping, everyone was friendly and smiling. The rooms are spotless, the beds comfortable and the amenities all very nice. I haven't had it yet but there is a made to order breakfast service starting soon. I came down super early and coffee service was already prepared. This is a 5 star hotel with a 3 star price. New, modern. and fresh hotel. Has an outdoor pool along with outdoor patio seating. The outdoor patio also had multiple gas fire pits to sit around. Rooms were spacious with a small kitchenette which was perfect. We were in a room with a King size bed on the 1st floor. The room also had a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower and lighted mirror. Only complaint about the room was that it only provided a conditioning shampoo and not a separate hair conditioner. Room included a complimentary cook to order breakfast. Breakfast was somewhat limited but still very nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. read more

Had a very pleasant experience here! Hits all the major points for me! AC was FREEZING and quiet! Room got super dark when the shades were closed. CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! Soft comfortable bed. The Element Hotel Knoxville West is brand new, modern, clean, and beautiful. The rooms are spacious. The gym is state of the art. The staff is very nice. My room had double Queen beds, a large desk, large shower, and a pull out sofa bed. Our room was equipped with a full size fridge, dishwasher, utensils, cutlery, cookware, cooktop stove, trivets, toaster, coffee maker, cleaning supplies, large sink in room, dish detergent, iron, ironing board, ample hangers, and a very large microwave. There is significant parking and FREE WIFI!! The complimentary breakfast was very good and more than I could ask for. I can't believe how much you get at this price point. The Element Hotel also adheres to all COVID policies and restrictions. read more

I am a very frequent traveller and have stayed all over the country 100's of nights a year for years. This is to help other travelers and nothing more. Remember that all business is about the people and who these places hire. As of right now this location staffs the lowest quality individuals available. This is especially for Monique and any others of her crew and managers there. Here is the example to stay away from this place and any associated with Larry Blumberg & Associates franchised hotels. Look them up and beware. There are policies they exercise that you do not know about. First the staff. My wife booked 4 nights and was received by Monique who was already prepared to make a conflict out of the check in since there was no check in to happen as a result of them cancelling our $800+ reservation. Oh yes, the check in didn't happen because they cancelled her reservation that evening. Why? because they oversell. Something the Elite customer care supervisor that has been with this corporation for a decade told me about. Funny that you probably didn't know they could do that right? Well they can and do. Well there was No Compassion to accommodate my wife when she arrived. To add to this, there was hostility. You know, the kind that some people make where someone is being aggressive when they really are just asking rational questions like "why did you cancel my reservation'? Yep, making a problem where there isn't one. Then she was asked to leave. So in summary: A faithful traveller books a room for multiple nights and arrives late in the middle of a thunderstorm, alone, with no place to stay other than the one she booked because that's the way booking goes, and is met with the opposite of accommodation to fix a cancelled reservation and is asked to leave. In my opinion, you should avoid all Element hotels or any others in this area. Look them up and if they are owned by Larry Bloomberg & Associates then you should run. Do your research and find Beau Benton - President of LBA Hospitality. He runs a ton of these of which this is in that group. Today we live in a day where life is Not normal and you have to do your research to get what you need. Great check in process. Hotel lobby area is really cool. Very comfortable feel as soon as you walk in. Breakfast area looks great ( can't wait to try it) . Coffee and tea available in the lobby. Our one night stay started out great, nice room with an additional kitchenette sink. We did not experience road noise others have mentioned. Our main issue is this, it's fine if you are pet friendly, but for goodness sake clean the room. Our chair and ottoman were covered in long white dog hair, not noticed until daylight of the next day after it transfered to our clothes. Girl at front desk was unconcerned. The hotel and our room was clean, bright, and modern. Friendly staff. Easy check in and out. Breakfast offered a variety of bread, fruit, yogurt, cereals, and a a cook preparing fresh eggs or crepes. Variety of drinks were offered with coffee and infused water available around your clock. The lobby offered plenty of seating and there was outdoor seating with artificial fire pits. Our room was a studio with 2 queens and a pull out couch. There was a kitchenette with a refrigerator, cooktop, and dishwasher. The beds were perfect for us. I'd say medium firmness. Shower had plenty of water pressure and hot water. The housekeeper, with pink hair, was so sweet and swept under the couch after we moved it to watch TV. Other than that, the room was tidy. Cute new hotel, loved the large shower. Nice kitchen and utensils. Wished they had more items for breakfast. Also they didn't provide us with extra towels, as they were out. Went on vacation with our two young kids, so needed the extra towels and soap. Which I felt they were stingy with. But overall very cute and nice. read more

Our room wasn't cleaned fully. The prior guests leftovers from a restaurant were still in the fridge there were candy wrappers in the bed and the trash was full of smelly -not sure what exactly - and tons of candy wrappers. Called the front desk and they gave a lackluster apology and stated housekeeping "sometimes forgets things". Not exactly setting me up for a peaceful nights sleep thinking about the person who was enjoying dozens of fun size Hershey bars and Reese's in my bed. Other than thaaat the place looks nice. I like the simple decor and color scheme. I'll just blame Covid related staffing issues and won't complain further. read more

I stayed here in December with a friend and had an excellent visit. Because of that experience, I recommended it to my family for a trip to Knoxville. When we checked in and arrived to our room, we found that the "sleeps 3 adults" room we had booked was only one bed, no pullout couch (so it only slept two). The bed was also visibly slept in and the trashcans still full. We reported this to the front desk, and they refused to help us or even look at the reservation. Then, one employee requested we go with him back to the room to make adjustments. One member of our party went with him, and the employee then complained about the work it would require to remedy this issue. The party member then assisted this employee in changing the bedsheets, at which point the hotel staff recommended the third adult just sleep on the floor, and they would provide a pillow and blanket. Absolutely unacceptable--we had to find a different hotel to stay in tonight. Will never recommend this hotel again. read more

Nice and updated hotel. Feels trendy and cool. Do keep in mind that you need to request housekeeping devices at least a day ahead. Rooms are not cleaned daily unless you request it each day. Front desk can be hit or miss depending on how busy they are. Breakfast is delicious, but plan plenty of time because the one lady cooking (who is very good) takes one order, finishes cooking that order and serves it, then takes the next order and starts cooking it.
