Super convenient to a lot of great restaurants - modern hotel with included breakfast. Shares the facility with a Courtyard.

In some ways it felt deliberately unkind and as if I was fabricating information that was indeed accurate. Best service was valet parking attendants. My room had a strong pet odor, second room no hot water, and disgusting bathroom. Carpet needs cleaning or removal to minimize or eliminate odors and traction of built in soiled areas and dirt. Shower head half connected to the wall, disgusting nasty grout throughout bCompletely dissatisfied with rooms and experience.

Okay I actually really enjoyed this hotel. Only complaint about the actual hotel was the lobby…read moresmelled kind of like gas fumes upon walking in and be careful of the entrance as the Marriott entrance is only a few feet away. The hotel is a boutique style, and the room was super clean and I enjoyed the toilet was separated by a door in the bathroom. Unfortunately the "Tennessean restaurant" on the second floor was a no go. I'd give it 1 stars for quality and service. I ordered a cocktail and ordered food to go. The bartender was kind and my pomegranate cocktail was delicious, however, I sat at the bar for a good 10 minutes and the customers that said at my seat and down the bar, their empty drinks took were not removed from the bar in a good 30 min after going back down to get the food. The counter was wet and sticky. I upgraded my risotto to add scallops. After getting to my room, I realized they were not included. Also paying $48 for risotto, even to go, coming in a Tupperware just didn't hit me right. This wasn't a cheap Chinese to-go order... I had to call to have scallops brought up and also didn't realize the description on the menu was what it was for the burger, I asked for a new burger or even maybe a bun, but honestly the truffle stuff on their was impossible to get off. They didn't offer to remake the burger and literally 20 min later brought a bun with two rubbery scallops that were way too fishy smelling.

This Drury Inn is relatively new and had very friendly staff during our stay…read more It's dog friendly, our room was quiet and the floors are solid which helps with noise from rooms above. We didn't take advantage of the happy hour drinks but the breakfast offerings included scrambled eggs, both plain and also with bacon and cheese, fruit and breads. We had some food we wanted to eat in our room later that day and I figured we could get some plastic forks and knives to use while we were down for breakfast, but they were using real silverware and non-disposable plates, which was another nice touch. They were happy to get us some plastic utensils to use for our lunch. This is the fourth hotel I've stayed at in Knoxville and it's top on my list.

It was an early birthday treat and probably one of the best things I could have asked for as a very tired mom. Checking in the process was super easy. The front desk person was professional and let me know about their nightly kickback and their morning breakfast. The room was nice and clean. Spacious and not super loud. There was some noise from the highway that is right by the hotel but it's not bad at all. The bed was soft and there was extra seating and also a desk and a fridge and microwave. No complaints at all. The nightly kickback was awesome. Decent food and lots of it. It was buffet style so you could grab what you wanted and then come back for more. It was kept well stocked and if you are over 21 they give you three drink vouchers. Also if you don't drink there is fountain soda that is free and also available 24hrs a day. Also popcorn is available in the evening. Great for movie nights in the room. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. Again it was all well stocked and refilled constantly. My stay was super nice. I wanted to be able to relax and really not do anything and this was the perfect place for it. I could go out enjoy my day and then just have the ability to relax and unwind in the evening. I would recommend the Drury to anyone and everyone. It's great for families. They also have a pool and hot tub, which I didn't use, but my kids would have loved. It's also great for solo travelers or staycationers (who just need a good night sleep).

Four hangers, four wall hooks and an open shelf simply don't cut it for guests who actually like to unpack their suitcases. The shops were all very unique and a huge variety of food options. We also walked around on Gay street which was similar.' The ally between Market Square has beautiful murals by different artists. I would highly recommend walking through. However as a woman I would only walk through during day time hours preferably with someone else. The ally has these small holes which many homeless individuals were in. The one thing that was concerning on multiple levels was the huge populations of individuals that were without a home. Homelessness is not a new challenge to cities, however it appeared that an inordinate amount of them have significant mental health challenges. Appeared to be in an altered state, walking around talking to themselves loudly. This was concerning on a humanitarian level but also a safety. I want to be very clear, nothing happened and we were safe. We did buy several meals to give.
