To preface, I think I'm like most guys, I just want to go somewhere close to the house that does a…read moregood job. Not to stereotype, but I think women are a bit different, they'll drive across town for "Their" girl or guy who they are accustomed to. Well, I'm sorry, it's really not that important, I just want a decent cut at a decent price. These guys certainly fill this need! More than just filling the need, though, they're good! I've been to a couple other joints in the area, but I think I've found a mainstay here. The vibe is casual, 15 bucks for a regular cut and they do a good job. The decor is pretty unusual, to write the least, and the two guys clipping away are pretty cool. I guess if I had to list a complaint it would be in regards to their TV station selection. It's set to Hip Hop/Rap videos non stop. Yes, I know, I know, I'm old and I just don't "Get It." Well one of the problems, as I see it, with those videos is there are usually a dozen scantily dressed women on some yacht twerking and showing all their goodies. Not as if I don't enjoy looking at women's goodies from time to time, but one time I had my 7-year-old daughter with me. In addition, another guy had his even younger sons in there getting a trim. Call me "Reserved," but I just don't think that's appropriate for youngens to stare at. Why can't they just tune it to ESPN "The Ocho," for some good ol' dodge ball or something? Maybe the sportsman channel for some competition bass fishing? There definitely are other TV options they could tune to. But hey, it's their joint right? I guess I'll just have to endure, and not bring my daughter with me anymore.
