I would try a different chiropractor's, massage therapists, Electrical stimulation and laser therapy. They all worked temporarily to make it feel better but nothing stopped The problem I was having. I finally was able to run another half marathon in October of last year. While in my training I pulled a calf muscle again, took a week and a half off before the half marathon and felt good. During the half marathon I pulled my calf muscle again and hobbled my way through the race. (it was not fun) I took a couple months off, thinking I would heal up and be able to run again. So I started running again and I pulled a hamstring as soon as I started picking up pace. I thought it was a vitamin deficiency, a lack of hydration, not enough stretching, some sort of disorder. I was so frustrated and did not know what to do I asked around and was told to stretch, hydrate and see a doctor that does trigger point therapy. I didn't know where to start looking so I went on Yelp and found a chiropractor right down the block from me , ADDISON CHIROPRACTIC. I made an appointment and talked to Dr Mike Pagnoni, he sounded confident that he could help me. After two sessions I started running again. I was able to pick up my pace with no problems. I continue Going to Addison chiropractic, my pace is getting faster and I'm not having any more issues . 5 stars well-deserved!

Mid May I started going to JOHN SILOSKY when I had lower back and right peck pain I was referred to him by my husband. In the first couple visits he told me I had Structural problems which I later found out my hips were miss aligned and my upper sine was curved which he may have known I was never given an X-ray. Over the past 9 weeks my symptoms were back and forth but I began to feel significant weakness in my lower back where by by the end of the day I had a hard time supporting my upper body which I did express those concerns to JOHN numerous times he would state well let's just continue what we are doing. After 9 in a half weeks I decided to get a 2nd opinion my 2nd opinion said after 9 weeks I was disturbing I was having severe lower back weakness and he was also baffled why JOHN didn't give me an X-ray even after expressing concerns. 2nd Chiropractor did educate on how my time in physical therapy spent with JOHN Meant nothing because if the bones are not moving in the correct place from the adjustment my problems would still be there. So its obvious from the x ray I got from my new chiropractor JOHN wasn't adjusting me correctly. After 9 1/2 weeks my husband gave him half of the bill 900. Plus he was paid by insurance. I spoke to him and told him that I had gotten a second opinion in for worsening treatment Byam I think our payment was enough there wasn't really an argument he told me he would need 200 more dollars I told him I would talk to my husband I'll probably not a week later we get these text messages We were swindling him and that he's gonna be swiping our card for 300 more dollars ( which he ended up doing) So "DR" JOHN Since you wanted me to continue to come to you as my treatment was worsening to line your pocket I believe you are the "swindler here" Just a warning to anyone who has a question or concerns about their bill the "DR" Will be texting you harassing you. Now I'm seeing another chiropractor spending more money and time when I should of been treated from what dr John said would be only 3 weeks.

Before starting treatment, I was unable to do the simplest daily activities -- I couldn't stand in the shower, wash dishes at the sink, take a short walk with my kids, or even work. Life had become incredibly limited, and I had lost hope after seeing many medical doctors with no improvement. NWI was my last bit of hope, and though I didn't fully understand how the treatment could help me, I decided to trust the process and lean in. Within a week, I could take a shower standing up again. A few weeks later, I was walking short distances with my kids. Now, a few months after treatment, I'm working again and able to support my family -- something I truly didn't believe would ever be possible again. Dr. Nate, Iza, and the entire team at NWI gave me my life back. Their care, expertise, and encouragement made all the difference. I will forever be grateful to them for helping me reclaim my health and independence. If you're struggling and feeling hopeless, please don't give up -- NWI might just be the turning point you've been looking for.

Hover Chiropractic was first on the list of…read morerecommended care in my area, and it wasn't until after the treatment was completed that I found out Josh personally still has a contract with United Healthcare, but the office he works through (WholeHealth Chicago) does not. After a whopping $125 adjustment + "diagnosis," (conjecture) I found they weren't going to be able to run this charge through my health insurance. After having to pay out of pocket, I called the insurance company who they said they still had an active contract with Josh. I started going back and forth over email where they explained that there was no possible way to run the payment through Josh's contract, and so kindly recommended that I involve a third party service that, "could, potentially, cover out of network claims. But, they also might not." In frustration I said sarcastically, "it's nice to know your company cares," and left it at that. Shortly after, I received a call from Josh who said he saw the emails and offered me a free adjustment. As kind as that was, I don't know what happened in that free adjustment, but I ended up feeling so much worse for the next few days. I'm a bit more familiar with the healing process of back pain by now, and it's not beyond me that sometimes you can be in pain from the adjustment for a few days after, but this felt different. He offered to put me on a regiment of, "$60 per visit, probably a couple times a week? That's when we can really start the actual healing process, does that work for you? Okay good, that is as low as I could possibly make it." Instead, I went to a different chiropractor out of pocket, for a fraction of the price I previously paid, and got immediate/lasting results. There's something to be said about the care I received having an impact of the efficacy of the next chiropractor's work, but in my experience I've often left adjustments feeling generally better than before I came in. Following the two adjustments I received over the span of a week and a half, I can't say I ever really got that feeling. Overall, I would not recommend the treatment I received, and especially not for the price at which I received it.

As a personal injury defense attorney, I am naturally apprehensive when it comes to chiropractors…read more I see many offices take on patients in and out like a conveyer belt, rarely changing daily notes, not spending time to actually see how the progression is, merely ringing up charges. I have seen one chiropractor in the past and it was a great experience; granted, it was a friend whom I trusted (and he did a great job!). Luckily, that made me less apprehensive about seeing a chiropractor again and when I moved out of the city, I needed to find a closer office to visit. I've always had tension in my shoulders/neck area, pain and tightness in my lower back, and after a stint in the hospital for esophogeal problems, tightness and pain in my middle back. I avoided it for months, but when the pain got bad enough, I bit the bullet, checked yelp, and made an appointment. I am very glad I did! All three doctors at the practice are not only professional, but very nice. Each visit, they ask how all of the patients are doing. The set- up may seem unconventional to some, with tables out in the open, but its actually very helpful. Some patients have questions, and the others get the benefit of hearing the answer. Ofcourse, if you ever felt uncomfortable and wanted a private room to be seen, there are areas for that. They do anything to make you comfortable. I felt a great benefit from treatment and I will continue to see them on a regular basis for continued maintenance. One thing I always disliked about people who have sought chiropractic care and did not see the benefits, is that more usually than not, they went once or twice. There is no magic cure when something is really wrong. If you have something really wrong, its going to take more than one or two quick adjustments to right a lifetime of wrong (and they can help if you allow them to do so!). But if you had a quick tweak, its a great idea, too. You don't have to go through a whole long treatment process. See them a few times, or multiple times a week for months... depending what is wrong, they can help. And if there is not anything wrong, maintaining proper adjustments has also shown to be very beneficial! So, for someone that is against many chiropractic offices, I give 5 stars to this one. You will receive treatment from all three of the doctors throughout your time here, and all are friendly, professional and effective. If you are on YELP! looking for a chiropractor, you are already questioning it, so you may as well just give it a try!

The holidays have been stressful and at times I could not make it in, but the office staff worked their magic and found a way to fit me in so I could stay on track. The office lay out is an open office concept which I've never seen before at a chiropractor's office, but I like it. It has a good vibe, everyone is easy going and has a smile on their face. The moment I knew I was at the right place was when I saw one of the Doctors adjusting a baby! Yes, a baby! And this baby was laughing, not even scared or worried. Completely trusting. I've never seen anything like it. And I guess that's the neat thing of the open office concept you get to see the magic happen. I'll def keep coming back!

Unfortunately, the visit itself was completely different. Despite telling the office multiple times that our insurance information had already been submitted electronically and that we no longer have a physical insurance card, we were asked for it over and over again. While we were there, the chiropractor was loudly arguing with someone on the phone, and we heard the other person accuse him of doing something illegal. We also observed staff being asked to run personal errands to his house during business hours. When he finally came into the exam room, the first thing he said was, "I know you, you're from the hood," which was both strange and unprofessional since we're not even from the area. The office had an unpleasant odor, and the amount of cologne he was wearing was overwhelming. Throughout the visit, he repeatedly stared our daughter up and down. She is autistic and naturally avoids eye contact, and the interaction made us very uncomfortable. We decided to leave before any treatment began. Instead of respecting our decision, he followed us out to our vehicle and continued trying to convince us to come back inside. While we were in the office, we also observed that patients were offered a discount or free item in exchange for leaving a positive Google review. That gave us additional reason to question whether the online ratings accurately reflect patients' experiences. If this review is dismissed as fake or claims are made that we were never there, that is simply not true. We were absolutely there, and this review reflects our firsthand experience. Looking back, I wish we had recorded our visit because it would have eliminated any question about what happened. Our experience raised multiple red flags, and we did not feel comfortable or safe continuing care. Based on what we experienced, I cannot recommend this practice and would encourage others to consider a different provider.
