Immediately I liked his bedside manner and attentiveness; but what stood out was his ability to read the spine - even thru the shirt + sweater that I was wearing. He could quickly feel where pain and tightness was, and he manipulated individual vertebrae while asking questions to assess further. Once on the table, he got cracks out of my spine and neck unlike any that I had ever heard before- I really couldn't believe it! My therapists Natasha, Maggie, and Tim were all fantastic. They are very good at what they do. I was really nervous about having my shoulder being manipulated after the surgery and weeks of immobilization. They were so gentle, that after a short while, I completely trusted them. They followed the protocol set by my surgeon, and through the many, many different kinds exercises, they progressively got me well on my way to full recovery. I initially met Dr. Zach because of a recommendation due to a foot and leg injury I had. I was struggling with resulting pain and wasn't satisfied with the solutions I was being given from my GP. In addition to working with me on that challenge, I get regular adjustments with him to help keep my degenerative disc disease at a manageable pain level. In my experience with him, he has always gone above and beyond. From coming up with different physical therapy routines (and being able to adjust them based on my current level of ability and pain tolerance), to assisting me with making sure I'm getting the right blood panels done with my GP to monitor my specific health needs, and doing a lot of research into my very specific (and as I understand it, not super common) pain complaints related to my foot/leg injury, I have benefited greatly from choosing to partner with him for my health. Additionally, I recently started working with Dr. Colleen for acupuncture. Admittedly, I am a bit of a skeptic, but having heard of positive benefits from people I'm close to I wanted to give it a shot. I have been having some odd, deep ache issues in my left hip and down my leg, and I figured I'd give it a shot to see if I could get some relief. I will never be able to tell you that the acupuncture is what definitively made it stop, but I will tell you that since I started working with her about five weeks ago, I went from being unable to sleep due to the pain to barely experiencing it. Do with that information what you will - what I will do is keep showing up for acupuncture. They also offer Sarapin injections, which has been an absolute game changer for the pain I live with. I cannot emphasize enough how much of a difference that makes, especially when paired with really excellent therapeutic massage care (which, by the way, they provide). Their new office is clean, bright, comfortable, and welcoming. They clearly put a lot of effort and thought into how they want to support their clients, and it shows. The staff they employ are all friendly, helpful, and I have yet to catch them on a "bad day" (despite having plenty myself). If you're looking for chiropractic expertise, acupuncture, physical therapy, or any of the other services they provide (of which there are many!), I can't recommend them enough.
