My daughter and I love the atmosphere here. Very welcoming and kind service. Only wishes for this place is more comfortable seating and a more diverse pastry/snack menu.

This is my favorite place in Biddeford. I have been going to elements for a few years now and I have never had a negative experience. My favorites for drinks are the london fog, iced butterfly pea tea latte, hot mocha, and Iced hot chocolate. For food I love the bagel with cream cheese and the homemade granola bars. I love going there and studying for a little while or enjoying a good book. I also enjoy the local musicians that come in and preform. Bathrooms are available with the code on your receipt. Free water is also available to customers.

Stumbled upon this place while visiting Biddeford. Luckily the original place we chose to grab a bite was not open yet. This place is truly a unique spot, offering a variety of delicious items and surrounded by a vast selection of books. There were also playing cards available at the counter. My friends ordered the berry oatmeal, cheese platter and matcha coffee. I had a croissant with avocado. I wish I lived in Maine just so I could frequent this lovely place regularly. I hope to go back again.

Elements has always been my favorite spot to grab a coffee or study. I've been coming here for years now and haven't had a bad experience. The staff are friendly and kind. There's plenty of seating for everyone. I recommend this place to anyone that needs a spot to study

If you're into coffee, books, and brews or wine, Elements might be your type of place. This is hands down my favorite coffee shop in all of Southern Maine. I don't even reside in Biddeford and will go out of my way to spend some time at Elements -- that's how special it is. I remember the first time I visited Elements last summer. As soon as I walked in, I was taken aback by the incredible atmosphere, extensive coffee menu, and wine + beer options. Seriously, we need more coffee shops offering adult beverages, too. The coffee selection is impressive and -- the best part -- with some of the best prices in Southern Maine. For instance, you can get a pour-over for $3, and you get to pick your preferred coffee beans. I haven't seen many other places doing that. The coffee is served in beautiful mugs (if you're drinking in) that make you feel like you're at a posh coffee shop. Outside of coffee, you can also choose local beer or a glass of wine, both at excellent prices, too. And that's exactly what I love about Elements -- with what they offer, they could've quickly decided to be an overpriced and pretentious coffee shop. We've all seen those. But instead, they're a down-to-earth and welcoming space for everyone. Lastly, the books! They have punch cards where you get one free book after a few purchases, and most of the books are all under the cover price, even though they are brand new. You can get books here at half the price (or more) than traditional bookstores. Elements... please don't ever change!

A bookstore style coffee shop with HUGE windows letting in lots of lighting. Order your tasty snacks at the counter to stay or takeout. The staff is super friendly. Peruse and or purchase something to read while enjoying your order. If you gotta use the potty a key hangs on a hook (attached to a big cooking spoon) near the register. The is in the main hall of building.

Books, coffee, beer and incredibly friendly staff. Picked up a few books as well. Dropped in for lunch & a beer in the very walkable neighborhood.

This is clearly *the* place to be in downtown Biddeford! It was pretty much completely packed when I dropped in on a Friday afternoon. (It does seem like people camp out here, as another reviewer mentioned; I was mostly wandering around, but I did snag a spot at the coffee bar for a few minutes.) Love the space, with big open windows, high ceilings, and two rooms with bookshelves tucked in along the walls (but not crammed in, which is nice as it feels spacious and there's plenty of room to browse among all the tables). I grabbed a tea--they have gunpowder green, one of my faves--and when I started checking out the books I realized that most of them are overstocks and remainders being sold at an amazing discount. I managed to make it out buying only two: the Ruth Reichl classic I've been meaning to read forever, and the big hardback Milk Street cookbook for only $20! Oh, and some schmancy chocolate from a maker in Bath, because, well, do I need a reason? There are other Maine maker products (e.g. coffee, candles) and even a special shelf just for Maine authors. Super nice staff too who made me feel immediately welcome and also set me up with frequent flyer punch cards for both coffee and books--woo hoo! A good reason to return, and I'm looking forward to it.

Elements has been a mainstay in our lives the past 5 years and for good reason! The coffee, friendly staff, and refreshing vibes have made it a central part of the Biddeford community. I'm a big fan of their maple latte, but you can't go wrong with anything there!

This is the perfect place to have a cup of chai, do some work and relax. It was quiet enough to get work done, but not awkwardly quiet.

Good coffee, tea, books, and food. Only reason it's not 5 stars is because the food is a little overpriced imo.

So much easy, free parking in their huge shared lot. 2. There's a Starbucks-adjacent cafe. NOTE: it's NOT actually Starbucks though, so you can't order ahead or pay with your app. Just a heads-up! The cafe portion of the bookstore is spacious and clean, with the tables themselves also being spaced quite far apart from one another. It creates a real sense of privacy no matter where you sit! 3. The atmosphere/layout here is very modern and inviting; the selection itself is enormous. Genres are clearly labeled, and there's a tremendous amount of content available no matter what you're looking for (so be prepared to spend some time here wandering around and taking it all in... then you'll probably have to come back, because there's no way you'll actually be able to take it all in on the first visit!). They've got new releases, popular books, recommendations, board games, and more. And, of course, the random armchair for you to sit and peruse your possible purchase. Obviously, support local first. But if you're looking for a slow-paced, wide open, very quiet, very tidy spot to spend a little bit of time (without feeling rushed or forced to purchase something) finding your next favorite read, I'd suggest visiting here!

This is a newer location, and it's absolutely stunning! Nice lighting, open concept, beautiful cafe.read more

Bull Moose Music moved from its former smaller store in Sanford to a bigger plaza space at…read moreBiddeford Crossing. This bigger space was once a Nonesuch Books. This new employee owned Bull Moose store is way less cramped than its former Sanford location, where I've shopped for music a long way back. This store had their grand opening a few months ago. Like its old location except more spread out inside, the Biddeford location offers a pretty good selection of new and used music, movies, video games, and books to choose from. The store is well organized nicely by sections with vinyl records, books, CDs, video games, DVDs, Blu-rays and miscellaneous items in between. The music is organized by genre alphabetically with a mix of new and used CDs, They also carry used cassettes ($3 each) underneath the old vinyls. The prices including the sale prices here are very competitive to the online music stores. The Bull Moose website is a good place to search and find which stores have your item or title in stock. They also do special orders and accept used music, movies, and video games for $$$ if in good condition. I spotted several used CDs from 20 years ago being sold for as low as $2.97, which I have in my personal collection and are no longer made. As a holder of the Bull Moose Music FBC (Freakin' Buyers Card), I earn points with each purchase here and receive the Bull Moose Music weekly emails with their e-sales flyers, new releases, promotions, and events (chainwide). IMO, the new Biddeford Bull Moose location is a great improvement to the older cramped location, though it's not as big as the Scarborough Superstore location.

Due to her reaching half-way to her yearly goal of books read for 2026 so quickly I wanted to treat her to grabbing a couple books at a new to us bookstore. Scanning around our general area this one stuck out as one to check out. Due to its location parking is no problem which was a great plus. Stepping inside will transport any reader into a sense of literary paradise. They have the popular/trending books like you'd expect, all the classics, and everything in between. Including a large well stocked used book section with extremely well priced books. This was a section my wife could have spent so much more time browsing but ended up selecting 5 books from this section. Which if you bought 3 used books you'd get a fourth free which they were already well-priced. Once she made all her final selections we checked out and signed up for their free savings membership. The staff were extremely friendly and we had a great conversation with them. The type of interaction that makes you want to return to a place!
