My mom has been a long time client of Gary's, and she doesn't know how, but his massages get better and better each time. My massage was with Charles, and it was hands down the best massage I have ever had. He worked out all of my shoulder pain and he made sure to listen to my requests. I purchased a membership at Elements Massage and then when it came time to cancel the membership, nobody told me that you had a limited time to use the massages in your queue and they took two massages away they gave me back one and refused to give me back the other one. When I spoke with Beth the manager, she said that she was gonna have Kristi the regional manager called me back over three weeks ago. Horrible customer service I would not recommend it. That is a complete scam. They don't tell you you have to use them and they take them away from you and they're like $150 each because they were two hour massages. Not good. read more

I really wanted to make this my massage place to go, but they had different ideas. The first massage I received was absolutely awful & I complained. I was set up with a male therapist & they gave me a free massage to make up for the horrid one & that was amazing! I went back to see him & this time was horrific. I'm still in agony & nearly bed ridden because moving really hurts my back & even rib cage. I don't want another free one. I just want a place to give consistently good service, but such a place appears nowhere in this sprawling city. You just never know when it's going to end badly & I can't comprehend how the exact same massage could be complete bliss on one visit & endlessly agonizing on another? I adore my masseuse, but I don't want this again I reached out to Elements with a picture & everything, but getting radio silence from them. For my birthday, my sister-in-law treated me to a massage, after I hadn't had one in a LONG time. I was very apprehensive, as I don't really like being touched, so I specifically requested a female, in order to put my mind at ease. I was assigned a massage therapist, but a few days before my appointment, I was informed she was unavailable and I would be reassigned. A day later, I was informed that the new person I was assigned was a deep tissue massage therapist and told that may not be fitting for me, as I requested a medium-level massage. I was then informed that the only available therapist that day and time was a male. Despite my discomfort with that being my only option, I decided to go with it, and I'm so glad I kept an open mind. From the moment Seth came into the room, he made sure he understood my comfort level and inquired about how I felt prior to moving to a new area of my body. Areas of tension were addressed, and he asked if I would like to move on or have some pressure added to them. He inquired about my activity level and the frequency of my workouts and was able to give suggestions as to why I was experiencing certain areas of strain or pain. At the end of my appointment, he suggested stretches I could do daily to potentially help relieve my tension, which I've found to be quite helpful. I STRONGLY recommend Seth, and he will definitely be who I request in the future! read more

Very nice and helpful therapists and receptionists. I don't get massages very often but the people over the phone helped make scheduling this easier. They have a flexible monthly membership which translates as one 1-hour massage a month for $80. If you're a first time customer, then you can try out their services for $80 and there's additive services which range from $10-$30 to add to your massage. If you're not a members, it's $120 for an hour massage. The ambiance was nice and service was quite professional. read more

All they do is push promotional services. The front desk lady ask me to sign up for a membership 3 times, even after saying no. I paid $218 and confirmed with them that they added everything including the tip and they said yes, they then called my partner later in the day and said they needed an extra $20 because they did not charge it earlier in the day. They called from an unknown number and then when I explained, the manager said "we tried to run it and it declined" but the charge went through perfectly fine. My husband is a member and I am on his account . He was going to the elements on happy valley initially but they lost his business , to the point where he almost cancelled his membership. The happy valley location never answers the phone , very frustrating. Last month we decided to use up a couple of his credits , we found the Glendale location . They always answer the phone at the Glendale location. The front desk staff is phenomenal, answers all are questions and they are very professional. My husband sees Jeff and I have seen Isiah . Both therapist listen to our requests ,both therapist are great ! Isiah has very strict draping skills and would make any female client feel very comfortable. Great location, ambience, staff, cleanliness. I gave it 3 stars because I find the ranking of massage therapists and having to pay more for certain ones just makes the regular priced therapists seem not as good. This is not a good way to gain more profit. Their gratuity signs that suggests amounts from 15% and up which are located everywhere is based on non-member pricing. Strange since most that come in here are members. Nice place but considering they're already the highest priced in the area (I compared) I see greed and not giving consumers enough credit to see through all this. read more

They refuse to provide services to healthcare providers who answer honestly that they care for patients with Covid as part of their job requirements. They still withdrawal funds from my "suspended account" for services I can't receive. I already spoke with a store manager and was told a more senior manager would contact me, yet that still hasn't happen. Discrimination against healthcare providers and failure to cease bank withdrawals. Very disappointed in their business practices. read more

Update: BEWARE: When you sign a form to cancel membership, Elements will try to charge you ONE MORE MONTH in order to end your membership. My charge was originally waved because I canceled right at the beginning of the month. My last charge was March 2018 and the manager said she would not charge me for April. The assistant manager Kiara then reached out and offered 6 gifts certificates for anyone of my choice to use for the 6 months that I was charged. I contacted my bank and was able to get 4 of the 6 charges refunded. I called Elements back to get the remaining 2 gift certificates. The assistant manager Kiara no longer worked there, and the new manager Kaila Viscarra refused to honor any gift certificates, only sessions that I could use. I called to complain. I wanted the 2 session I was owed and my only session there had not been pleasant. Kaila said they would count my cancellation as a 'session', so I would only get 1 session back even though I was supposed to have 6 sessions prior to my bank refunding 4 sessions. They want to charge me a cancellation fee which I was originally told was waived by a manager. Kaila mentioned issuing a refund (which turned out to be a complete a lie), had the front desk call to schedule only 1 session. Bottom line: Elements Massage is only out for money. They don't care about screwing over customers. They have a ridiculous policy of charging members another month just because they want to cancel. There are other places that can offer good massages without money schemes and ridiculous cancellation policies. Don't trust this company and save yourself the trouble. read more

I really wanted to like this location of Elements Massage- (relatively close to home and with great promotions) but unfortunately it disappoints. Here's why- 1. Location is understaffed, and employees seem a bit disengaged. 2. Not a welcoming entrance area... disorganized and messy. 3. Not very clean- needs an upgrade. 4. My boyfriend and I got the couples massage, and the experience was great. The check-in process was easy, and the room was comfortable. The beds also have this super cozy blanket that we wanted to take with us! For myself, I wanted a deep tissue to break my terrible knots in my shoulder and neck Area. I asked for additional focus in that area. My masseuse told me to let her know if the pressure was too much because she really got in there - I was sore afterwards, but it felt much looser. For my boyfriend, he wanted a more relaxing experience. However that morning, he had a random Charlie horse on his bicep (I didn't know that could happen!), and it had been bothering him a few days before. I was able to book a same day appointment. So that was much appreciated because I really needed a massage today. My neck and shoulder/back area really hurt; my whole body was a bit sore, but manly those areas. Liberty did my massage. She did an excellent job! She was very nice and accommodating. She gave off the best vibes. I've had other massage therapists and I can't really relax because they seem like they don't enjoy their job or they're having a bad day or what have you. Never get a membership with Elements. They are NOT helpful at all when it comes to cancelling. I have 5 massages stacked up on my account due to covid and when I cancelled they failed to mention that not only will they charge me once but twice to an account I never use. Plus they cant mail me the extras on gift cards that I would have to drive to them to pick them up due to "corporate policy". I moved over 45 minutes away and have been unable to use the account for months. NOT helpful or friendly at all only out for money. read more

This was my first time going here and my first ever professional massage. I wanted to try a new experience for my anniversary and I thought that this would be so nice for us, and it was! I initially tried to book a couples massage online but that option was not available. I ended up having to book by calling and the ladies was very professional and friendly during my 3 calls to them over the course of 2 days. The first was for information, second was to actually book, and 3rd was to change the appointment. I had to take off a star because I wasn't able to complete the type of appointment I wanted online but the staff was truly a joy to work with. I ended up having Septemia and my husband got Tracy as our masseuses. They took a real interest in our needs and made sure we had an enjoyable experience. This company offers a paid membership program where you can receive a reduced price in massages, like Massage Envy. But I ended up passing on it as I don't have the budget to do the paid monthly membership nor the time to come in every month to do it. But I definitely will be back for special occassions or when I really feel the need to get a massage. read more

This is a negative review for Elemez, LLC.  known as  Elements Massage located at 19420 N 59th Ave. This is a franchise for Elements Massage and is under new management since Sept 2017.  Back in November 2016 I was offered 4 one hour sessions for the price of 3. Then I had the option to go month to month. I received my 4 sessions then went to a Physical Therapist that my insurance covered. Since then, I have received no phone calls or letters in the mail reminding me that I have a session each month that I am paying $59 a month for. I just happen to look at my credit card statement last Sept 2017 and noticed that I was being charged. I went down there in person and they apologized for not being notified and now they have a new manager that will be doing so. The only thing they offered me was coupons for sessions. I called my credit card company next to file a dispute for receiving no services in the months I was charged. Since the contract states I have to fill out a cancellation form they could not help me.  What bothers me the most is that they were perfectly happy to charge me $59 (Now $69) a month for the rest of my life with no communication for services. So far they have taken $720 from me and only offered me a few coupons in exchange.  Based on this experience with their "Program" I will never go to that company for services and never sign a contract like that again. I strongly advise anyone considering services from a predatory company like this to stay away. This is much like that horrible tactics that LA Fitness and others in the 90's practiced. Do not sign a contract it is not worth the hassle. read more

I signed up for a membership due to Jessica Snyder's salesmanship. I was late once and was not informed my massage would be cut short. Jessica explained to me and extended my next massage. I was so thankful there was at least one employee who tried to assist the customer. She told me she was going to be made manager after she trained as assistant manager at a different location. I booked my next massage at the new location, only to find out Jessica was not assistant manager. I was not happy with my latest massage feeling the therapist was more manipulating than massaging. Again, Jessica assisted and kept me, the customer, happy. If not for Jessica, I would be cancelling my membership. So my question is, why is such a great employee being denied the opportunity to promote? read more

The front desk is always amazing. I've only had one bad massage here and I come multiple times a month. Even with that I still love this place. I'm a member and the flexibility fits perfectly with our life. We ran into some extra finances and were able to pause our membership temporarily without a problem. The massages are more focused on healing and less on random rubbing which is what I experienced with Massage Envy as a member. It's well worth the investment and has really been beneficial for our mental and physical health. read more

PROS: I just had a massage with Candy who is amazing and possibly the most kind, courteous, professional and attentive massage therapist I've ever had. We talked about our lives, laughed and she made me feel SUPER comfortable, which above anything else, is key not only for me but in the massage industry I think. Great pressure and balance, I would highly recommend her! CONS: I really wanted to try the Hot Stone upgrade but unfortunately they don't tell you anywhere that it takes 2hrs for the stones to heat up so make sure you mention that ahead of time :( read more

I've been a member here for a little over a year now I highly recommend Heather or Damien ...they are the best with deep tissue ... the complementary hot packs are my favorite . I like that they let u customize ur massage like only focusing on certain parts of the body and adjusting pressure for different parts of the body ... they also have a heated pad under the table for if u get cold and a fan for if u get hot easily... DESTINY was a miracle worker and has the hands of an angel. My upper back is full of knots and gnarled like a sewer rats claws, and she worked through them with patience and diligence. I have been going here just over a year and still love this place. They front desk staff is friendly. I changed massage therapists to Karen when the previous therapist went on leave. I was worried I wouldn't find another therapist, but Karen is AMAZING! Karen is able to magically find all the knots and work them out. In addition, she incorporates a little bit of stretches that helps people like me that work at a desk all day to feel our best. If you have a desk job you need to see Karen! I find her massages to not only be therapeutic but also healing. I can now ride my bike and do other activities that I struggled to do before because my body was in rough shape. Horrible place. We booked a massage for two and they canceled on us the first time. So we rescheduled and we had to cancel due ti illness. So rescheduled again. This time they sent one of us a text for a date that had passed . The second person they sent a text to for Saturday at 3 so we busted our butts to get there and they said your appointment is for Sunday . We showed them the text and they oh too bad it has the wrong day but it has the right date. Sorry . Really sorry you can't hire people that can text? My husband had Bevin and she does great deep tissue which helped with my husbands shoulder pain from previous surgeries. He also felt she was very informative. The therapists at Elements in Glendale are living this philosophy: achieving greatness through service. There is not effusive enough praise, glowing enough recommendation, or a metaphor profound enough to describe the level of fundamental transformation and relaxation I've gone through by visiting this center. I've worked with Maggie exclusively, simply because there's no reason I would ever try anyone after having someone with such sophisticated knowledge, such pure talent, and such a kind spirit work with me. I have visited many, many massage therapy centers, and I am overwhelmed by the ambiance of the interior, the amazingly lovely and approachable staff, and the otherworldly talent of my therapist, Maggie. I think the membership options are an awesome option for those who decided that they'd like to live the transcendent life and go here more than once. And, one of the best things about the center as a business: the staff are really there to find out what they can do to help you, not to upsell you on some other service or product. To be honest going in I didnt have must expectation as I thought it was similar to "Massage Envy", so I purchased a Groupon and went to check it out. My husband and I went for massages, separately, and the massage therapist that was given to me was horrible. They put me in this large cold room in the back that had a strange vibe about it, there was a small metal doctor's office lamp to the foot of the bed that reminded me of the one my Gynecologist uses. She was so hard on me and even after I told her not to massage my hands due to an injury, she grabbed my hands anyway. I had to tell her numerous times that she was massaging too hard. Overall, it was a horrible experience. I left feeling sick, sore and almost violated. The rooms are cold and not relaxing at all. When I left, I tried to explain to the person up at the front desk that it was horrible and all she wanted to do was sell me a membership! Are you kidding me? read more
