I am new to town and was looking for a new hairstylist. I called and left a message on a Wednesday to see if they had any appointments available, explained that I worked 8-5 M-F and would need a Saturday appointment. They said OK and asked me to come in for a 15-minute consultation which they scheduled for the next Thursday. I rearranged my workday and skipped lunch to go the consultation thinking I would be able to get an appointment booked soon after. When I completed my consultation, they told me they couldn't get me in until the end of December (it's October 17th). I wish they would have told me on the phone that they were booked out until the end of December so I would not have wasted my time driving across town and could have called another salon last Wednesday :). read more

I made my first appointment with Elements Salon and Wellness Spa for a haircut and color. My daughter had a medical emergency the night before, so I had to go to Spokane and I called them to cancel my appointment 4-5 hours before my appointment. They charged me $52 after they reminded me of their 48 hour cancellation policy. But because it was an emergency they agreed to give me the $52 back when I rescheduled. I thought that was pretty nice! But I'm getting ready for my appointment at 2pm today, and they called me at 1pm to cancel because my hairstylist went home sick. I was irritated because it is one of my very few days off, and I had to get up, take a shower, etc. I would have appreciated a call earlier this morning so I could be lazy at home on my day off! So I asked for my $52 dollars back, and they said yes, as long as you reschedule!! Lol! read more

I got my daughter a hair color and extensions for her birthday. Element salon in Wenatchee did a terrible job. I gave them my debit card and got charged 1100.00. She had to go back to have her hair fixed. I got charged another 90.00. A month later I get charged another 187.00 for a fee because my daughter didn't show up! This appointment should be between my daughter and the salon! Not me! I only agreed to pay for her birthday. When I called the owner when her hair looked awful, she was rude, condescending and laughing ! Essentially this cost 1300.00. Think twice before you go to this salon. I feel bad for posting but it has more to do with the owner then the employees. Does anyone think she should keep charging me? I have filed a fraud claim and had to close my debit card and reorder a new one! What a mess. I'm sure the stylists are good, it's the owner I sm unhappy with. read more

I received a gift card to Elements, and after a very unfavorable hair cut several years ago I decided I would use the gift card on product and other salon spa services. I assumed a pedicure would be a safe (yet expensive) bet but unfortunately, the pedicure I got there recently was the worst pedicure I have ever had. I was in and out of the salon within 30 minutes and that was after sitting and waiting for over 10 minutes for my polish to dry (and I removed my previous polish before coming in so there wasn't even time spent on polish removal). For $40 I could have done the exact same thing at home and could have done a better paint job. The shape of my big toe is completely uneven and there is NO shape to the other nails, there is residual paint on my skin around the nails that wasn't removed, my left big toe was smudged before even putting my flip flops on and some of my toes aren't even covered fully with paint. Such a disappointment, especially for a "reputable" salon. I sent an email to the general salon email address immediately and to the salon manager to provide feedback on my experience and never received a response. Very disappointing. read more

Wanted to spend a half a day at a Spa during a recent trip to Wenatchee. My hotel recommended Elements. Be warned - this is not a Day Spa, but rather a hair salon with services. I felt rushed and not pampered. The mani and pedi were good, but the facial was horrible. I found out that the facialist was not a registered esthetician, but only a cosmotologist. I would not recommend Elements. read more

It's been almost a year, and I'm still a bit miffed-- I had my hair done for a formal event, and I wanted loose barrel curls with lots of volume. I got lots of tight curls with no volume. In fact, I'm pretty sure my hair was sprayed flat on top where minimal back-combing had been tried. However, all the employees were very nice. The setting was a bit cramped for having a large group come in to get ready for an event, but overall, the experience was fine. Disappointment is an understatement. I asked for an icey platinum bleach/tone and walked out with all over yellow and reddish streaks...even my husband confirmed this and he is usually indifferent. Obviously did not bleach my hair long enough and pretty sure she didn't put the toner on. Made my first brave attempt to find a salon in the area after moving from the west side so I wouldn't have to drive over the mountains to have my hair done every 6-8 week. I guess I got what I paid for...I usually pay 5x the price to have perfect color and cut. read more

I came in for a new hair style and received the royal treatment. I explained in the phone that I wanted to take my brunette hair to blonde and they requested we do a consultation which was a breeze. Chelsea did a lovely job explaining everything and told me she was confident she could give me the balayage look I wanted so a little grow out wouldn't be a problem. We scheduled the appointment for the next business day and though it took a while (I have a lot of long hair) the results were great. She did a wonderful job and I'd totally go back to see her anytime. She trimmed my layers and weeks later I'm still super happy. read more

I absolutely loved my experience! They are prompt at calling back to schedule appointments. I am use to waiting months sometimes on the Seattle side to get a balayage.. I'm elated that I was able to get one scheduled in just 2 weeks! I can't wait to come back in July. The haircut was amazing, and I'm sure the balayage will be too! I have been to a lot of salon and spas and have never been so impressed as I was yesterday at Elements. Valda Sarty is a wizard with essential oils and the staff is outstanding. I was incredibly loved and pampered all day. I watched as the regulars came and went and shared their lives with the professionals there. Each person sharing their own brand of love. Monica the hair guru is super darn cute and great with the scissors. Tanya is the most loving esthetician with hands and heart of an angel. I could rave about all of the staff and I am sure I will in future visits! I didn't get my nails did but watched the magic as Jen was doing Kathy's nails. The whole experience was A+. If you haven't been there, treat yourself and go! Tell em George sent you... Not that it will get you any more than the special treatment they give everyone!! read more

I came here hoping to be worked in sometime during the day. The person at the desk did give me one option for the entire day. Im in town for a work event so my schedule did not permit the time offered. I asked for times for the next two days and the times just didn't work. I only wanted a pedicure which would take 30 minutes. In a 3 day span they could not accommodate me. I really find that hard to believe. It's nice to know this salon is doing so well they can afford to turn customers away. read more

I was gifted a Spa day for my birthday - Hour long massage, exfoliating facial, and sea mineral salt scrub. I finally got the chance to book for the spa day but didn't have enough time to do all 3 because of work. I was able to just book the hr long massage and really enjoyed the time spent at Elements Salon. It's been a while since I've had a massage and I forgot how great they are. Mitzi - the massage therapist did an incredible job and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a massage in or near Wenatchee. The massage starts with a foot soak and warm towel on your neck while you fill out a little questionnaire - then the really relaxing starts and before you know it you are walking out of there relaxed and rejuvenated. Went there to get my hair highlighted and a facial. I gave her four stars I gave my hairstylist for stars. She had my hair a little uneven. But I wasn't too happy with my highlights but it was very affordable it was only $90 for a partial foil.my facial was good but I think I need to get something more intense like a fractional my face is pretty screwed up from modeling and all the make up I used to have to wear. read more

Not impressed. It's a nice location, very busy, but when you walk in and see the hair stations and nail stations, it doesn't seem like a wellness spa that you would expect. We walked in and asked to make appointments for massages later in the day. The receptionist didn't ask what kind or how long, she just told us to come back at 1pm. We arrived a few minutes early and were helped right away. We got changed and comfy robes and were told to soak our feet in hot soapy water for about 15 minutes. It was nice because we were together chatting but if I was alone, it would have been a long time to just sit there. The ladies then came in and got us and brought us to our separate rooms. I asked about a hot stone massage and she said "Oh we need advance notice for that, sorry" okay, no biggie. My massage lady talked the WHOLE TIME. She was nice, but I wanted to go there and relax, not hear about her grand kids. I told her to put some pressure on my neck and she really didn't. 45 minutes later it was done, I got dressed and went up front to pay for my and my mom's massage. Then I sat. And waited. And waited. My Mom got 20 extra minutes for the same price! So I have no idea if mine was cut short or if she just got extra. Either way, not cool. She said her lady didn't talk at all and she was so relaxed she fell asleep. I was jealous, naturally. The massage was nice, not amazing, but really unless I kept initiating conversation, I don't think it's appropriate for the massage ladies to just keep yammering on. Be quiet and let me relax. $75 for a 45 minute massage. read more

I have been going to Elements for a number of years. Recently, I am sorry to say, the front desk service has severely declined. When the owner Valda was more involved the salon service was great! Recently her daughter in law Jen has taken over the management and it is not the same. Valda would come around and say hello to all the clients. Jen does not do this. Also you can no longer have them hold product for you without pre-paying, even for long valued customers. The stylists are still great, but again the total customer experience is lacking. This is such a shame. Wenatchee is known for its friendly local community. The way Elements is now being run I feel like I am in Manhatten without the quality. I hope this is not a reflection of financial problems for this Salon, as the stylists are outstanding. read more

I went in because i wanted a platinum balyage. I have had this done before at Gene Juarez in Seattle, and before they did it, they took a few pieces of hair and tested it to make sure it was healthy enough to color/bleach. They did not do this hear, and what i walked out with was a head full of straw and straw that has the eleasticity of overcooked pasta. Chelsea did the color and was great. Super nice. Once it came time for them to wash it out, i got handed off to some other girl. Once i was getting my hair conditioned by the new girl, she was telling me how she "had to hurry because she only has 20 minutes left with me". I was getting splashed in the face by conditioner and shampoo. Once i got taken out to the chair again, she brushed it and thinned it (which i asked for). The thinning was extremley uneven, and the amount of hair on the floor was enough to make about 3 wigs. I have previously had really thick hair and a lot of it. They assured me that was normal. I was watching employees walk by and get wide eyed at how much hair was on the floor. She was still explaining to me how she "needs to speed things up because she only has a few minutes left with me". She was burning my hair with the hair dryer, and didnt even dry it all the way OR style it. Once i was done, she ripped the cape off me, and handed me what i was pretty sure the 2 most expensive products in the salon. Literally stacked them and kind of shoved them in my face. Needless to say, I payed 175 dollars, to have my hair fall out, and be rushed. Yes I asked for them to bleach my hair, but i would expect they would tell me the outcome based on my hair type. read more
