Pretty impressed with my haircut. I will say that I like it better now, a month later, than I did 24 hours after my cut. I can't remember my stylist's name, I think she might have gone a bit shorter than she really meant to, but she was awesome and now that it's grown out a bit I love my lob. The cost of the cuts are definitely more expensive than Walmart cuts but you are getting a higher quality experience too, plus (hopefully) a much better haircut! I've paid more than this for worse cuts so I was happy with the price (about $40). It was nice of them to throw in a sample of their Aveda cherry conditioner. I'll definitely be coming back here - the only way to increase this to 5 stars would be if I could leave the salon highly satisfied, rather than needing a few weeks for my hair to reach the desired length! read more

BAIT AND SWITCH. $75 for a regular short hair cut??? And it was just OK?Scheduled a haircut for Mom's short gray hair. "Soonest appointment" was a month away. Typical pricing is $35-50. I dropped her off and come to find out later that they put her unexpectedly with a special stylist that we did not request. They also would not honor a $20 off referral coupon given to us by another customer. When I called them back after Mom got home, they refused to return the overcharge much less honor the coupon! Why would I go back? They have tons of competition here - Elements is not customer friendly. My husband was having his hair cut there for a while, but his cutter moved on to Salty Blonde as did he. High cutter turnover is a red flag. read more

When I came into Elements, my hair was a hot mess from a previous balayage and direct dye (fashion color) both by two different people somewhere else. I had three inches of regrowth on top of those little signs that I'm growing older. A full corrective color was definitely needed. To make it more difficult on the master stylist, Pam, I asked for fiery reds and oranges blended into an array of color that would peek a boo from under a richer, darker color. Six hours of intense work for Pam later, I have stunning hair that I know no one else will have. Pam mixed up a color blend just for me and it really dazzles! I am so thankful she was able to get me in, her schedule is always packed! I cannot begin to describe how beautiful a job Pam did. The pictures cannot do the color justice! read more

While on vacation I decided I absolutely needed a haircut because - well- I was in a hair hating mood! My hair was out of control and in my face! The local salon I have used in the past had closed! So I googled Aveda Salons near me and found Elements Salon. I was lucky to get an appointment with Chandler. But first, the salon is lovely and newly renovated. It was very clean and the front desk staff was on point and super friendly. Very customer centered. I felt welcomed and comfortable the minute I walked in. I was then greeted by Chandler who brought me to her station and who listened to all I had to say, and designed a plan for my hair. She gave me a beautiful cut. Chandler is Aveda trained and has a passion for what she does. Generally you can count on an Aveda salon for quality work as Aveda is focused on training and education for their staff. I was very lucky to have come across this salon and will return my next visit to this area. I want to add that one of the things I appreciated about this salon were that the stations were not cluttered with product bottles or drink cups. I really hate a messy station with crusty bottles. I've been going to Elements for several years now, and I've always been impressed with their level of professionalism, the cleanliness of the salon, and the final results. Cristy is absolutely fantastic! My hair has never been healthier! During the lockdown, Deb made wellness calls, they offered curbside pick-up on Aveda products, and made phone calls to reschedule appointments when the salon reopened. I wish I could say I had a good experience here, like others posted. However, I was quite upset when i left. I recently moved in the area and needed a new hair dresser. I used Anthony at Elements and utilized their hair sample gallery to show what I wanted. He assured me he had done it many times and was fully capable. While it wasn't the worst haircut I've ever gotten, it was definitely NOT what I wanted and NOT worth the expensive price they had not told me it was going to cost before it was done! I don't like to bad-mouth businesses or hair dressers, as they all seem very professional. I just wish I would have left happier than I did, with the hair style I wanted and the knowledge of how much it was going to cost beforehand! read more

I went on July 29, 2021, to have a root touchup, highlights, and a haircut. The total price for all three was $340.00. I wanted to try paying more to see if cost was a factor in quality. Believe me, it was not. I am a senior and have been to many hair stylists in my lifetime (once per month) and I felt there was no difference in the high price I paid at Elements and some of the more less expensive salons I have been to over my lifetime. The stylist, named Pam, that I had an appointment with was the most rude and unprofessional individual I've ever dealt with in the hair salon arena. When I entered the salon, there was a sign that said masks were optional. Since I had the 2 Pfhizer COVID vaccines this year back in January and February, I did not feel the need based on their sign to wear a mask to enter. Once I was seated at my assigned stylists station, I coughed once due to bronchitis that I was getting over with....I had previously been on steriods and antibiotics but was very close to recovering....I just had a lingering cough. The stylist jumped back from me as though I had the plague and I told her I would wear a mask if it made her feel better so I did to make her more comfortable. She was not very social at all, a terrible conversationalist, and hummed along with the music in the salon the entire time she was working with me which was very annoying. I asked her if she had the COVID vaccine herself and she rudely told me she was not allowed to talk about that. In summary, I feel the cost was extremely high for the service I got, not to mention the mediocre color and haircut treatment, but the worst of it was with the unprofessional attitude of the stylist herself. If there was a lower rating for this salon they would qualify. I went for a cut and color, the stylist complaining of my thick hair proceeded to take 3 hours. This level 2 senior stylist "barber" then proceeded to rub the skin off of both of my temples trying to remove the too dark color applied, ( I had requested highlights). A complaint to the owner requesting a refund was left unresponded. Return of products which burned the open areas was left unrefunded. Credit charge dispute is pending. read more

Brittany did a fabulous job on my color and cut! She is a genious! She had to deal with my very fine hair that was at least 4 different colors; sun-bleached platinum blonde, yellow, grey and white. Her suggestion of low lights and high lights was right on. The salon, itself, was very comfortable and well done. $$$ read more
