I was uncertain of prolotherapy but had been recommended it for my hypermobility by a rehab specialist I'd started seeing who had seem Dr. Likver for her own hypermobility-related issues. She assured me that she'd seen great results, and had sent many patients to Dr. Likver since. And she was right. The intake process was incredibly thorough, and while progress has not been linear and the path has not been easy, I've now gone through about 10 rounds of injections to great results. My case was pretty extreme, so I do not exaggerate when I say the treatments have been life-changing. My pain has gone down drastically, when I am in pain I recover quicker, and the prolotherapy has allowed me to resume my life again after years of coping or missing out on important things because of my body's meltdown. Dr. Likver has been a great practitioner, and I know that from having seen so many specialists all over the profession. Not only does she get good results, but unlike many doctors I've seen, she takes so much time and puts in so much effort, rather than shooing you away or asking if your problems are really as bad as you think. Sadly, I have changed Drs. in the past for this very reason. Dr. Woken needs to be more aware of how his staff impact the patient experience. Today I just experienced their rudeness first hand. Last time in his office, a patient was told they didnt have an appointment, and was called a liar. The patient went back home, and came back with appointment card which proved they were telling the truth. I saw this with my own eyes, and the patient was still treated disrespectfully. Today, as stated, I was treated VERY RUDELY when I called. Please Dr. Wilen, pay attention to these complaints.

They also give out trial sessions to see if you like the massages and therapy they give. I was pretty afraid of needles but getting acupuncture here didn't hurt one bit and I felt that it helped me. My neck was so sore and my upper back as well. I was tender to touch. After getting one treatment session, I was feeling so much better. I could turn my head without pain and it's less tender/sore. The physical therapist was very thorough with checking me. He even checked places where I thought I didn't have issues and he helped me find out that I was getting lower back problems from sitting so much. He knew about my sitting at home gaming, sitting at work, and sitting in class lifestyle and told me to try to stand up and walk around after sitting for 30mins - 1 hour. He told me it could become a big issue in the future if I don't do that. The only downside to this place is that there's no doctors in on certain days when it gets later in the day. But if you've seen a doctor previously, the next time you come back to this place, you can just get a massage and leave without seeing a doctor first but of course it's better to see a doctor before doing anything. All the doctors speak very good English. The front desk understood English as well and they were pretty nice and patient with me. There was a lot of papers to sign and forms to fill out because it was my first visit but the process of talking and seeing the doctor was pretty quick and then I got onto my massage. The owner of this place told me that there's also a podiatrist, pain management, and gynecology besides physical therapy and acupuncture. Also there's no appointment needed but an appointment would help you confirm when or if they doctor is here.

They speak English and they are located in the basement so it can be hard to spot but once inside, their space is cozy, warm, and very relaxing. They even have a fish tank so it gives this place a Feng-Shui vibe. The massage I received from my masseuse was absolutely fantastic!!! He knew exactly where all my knots were at and focused on it instead of just massaging at areas that didn't hurt. The seat was very comfortable and before sitting down, they even offer me water. With my 30 min massage, it also came with hot stones that my masseuse would use to rub my feet. It felt so good that I felt like he was melting all my pain and tightness away. I also had a body massage as well, and with that they would take you into a private room to focus on all your kinks and knots. I would point to him places I would like for him to focus on and he did.
