The strawberry sat on the bottom while the fair k slide melted on top of it. I would love to have them side by side but their cup is too narrow for it. Makes sense for them to stack. Place is small and cute, kinda looks dead out in Boerne and it doesn't help that it's pitch dark outside since the city doesn't allow street lights. Hopefully the neighborhood supports! Just had a terrible experience at what was once thought to be a nice, local place. Staff was unfriendly and didn't want to honor the "free scoop" card for being a loyal customer. We felt the staff was accusing us of keeping loyalty cards to get a free scoop. Hey Parker's, train your staff / kids on customer service and focus more on why the quality of your ice cream has deteriorated. I'm now regretting purchasing a quart to take home. I had to ask, how much did you just charge for that....over $21 for regular ice cream folks. We threw the free scoop away it was so bad and it wasn't even the ice cream we requested. read more

I can't believe this place has been open for four years and this is the first time I've been here. It is just down the road from us. It is a quaint little place that has a nice variety of unique flavors. The staff are friendly and they have a military discount. They also have a Yelp coupon for check-in. I had a double scoop with mint, chocolate chip and mochaccino. Wifey had mint chocolate chip. Daughter had chocolate and granddaughter Cookie Monster. Ice cream is thick, rich, and flavorful. I had the double chocolate brownie scoop in a cup; this is typically too rich for me but this was the perfect about of density to me. The brownie was not too chewy actually rather soft texture and a balanced flavor of the ice cream. I have had a couple date nights to treat my boyfriend and his 7 year old daughter and they both really enjoy the ice cream there as well! She loves the cookie monster in which I have had a taste; not my preference way too sweet for me. My boyfriend had the mint chocolate chip as I tried as well and it was delicious. The seating inside I am not too crazy about the lighting so we sit outside where there is a nice tree canopy overhead. For all 3 of us, where 2 got a cup and 1 a cone, it was $15 with mine having sprinkle toppings. They also have pints to-go, ice cream sandwiches, and alcohol infused flavors. They have good ice cream flavors, but I guess they've been having a lot of employee rotation and some of them just dont know anything. Employees didn't have information about an event happening the next day which we were interested in. I've been to every ice cream shop in San Antonio. I love ice cream so much, I eat it at least two times a week. This was my first time there. A very welcoming crew greeted me when I came through the door. The shop is very cozy with inside seating. They also have an outside seating area under the trees; for those nights when it isn't 95 degrees outside. They offered me tastes of some of the flavors. I went with the chocolate raspberry, straight up (no booze, no toppings). I did a short video, but unfortunately, I couldn't upload it on Yelp. However, when you see how thick and rich the ice cream is, you'll swear it's gelato. I practically went crazy with delight because it was so deliciously satisfying and flavorful...and chocolaty. Kate, the team leader, shared Parker's story with me. They've been around for 3 years. I don't know how I have never heard of them. They make all their own ice cream. They have the usual standard flavors (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, etc) all the time. And, every week, they switch up some of their other flavors so you'll never get tired of going there. You want milkshakes, sundaes, plain scoops in a cup or cone, toppings, boozy ice cream, Parker's has it any way you like it. Our family loves many of the flavors from the simple Madagascar vanilla to the guilty pleasure, reminds you of your childhood blue-colored cookie monster, you can't go wrong. Too sophisticated for "just ice cream" then how about their bar and over 21 only ice creams? Always seems to be busy with cool indoor and covered outdoor seating options perfect for anytime of the year but most definitely during the typical Texas summer. But come on, we all know the middle of winter is really the absolutely best time to get ice cream, lol. Full disclosure. They hired one of my children their senior year in high school. And unlike larger establishments with standardized corporate policies, they discovered my child's creative talent and now my child's creativity is part of the chalkboard and occasionally the tops of the to-go pints and quarts. My child is headed off to college knowing they were valued in their first " real Job" for what they enjoy doing (drawing) and something they are gifted in and not just for fulfilling some bland job description. As a parent, you couldn't script it any better. Here with my daughter I thought we would each get a different scoop looking at the menu had to go with the flight option for $10. We could select four different scoops. In order of preference was butterfinger,orange dream, Madagascar vanilla and cookie monster. Butterfinger and vanilla was one of the best flavors I have had. The orange dream paired with the vanilla was superb. The cookie monster was good but a slight let down. The chips ahoy cookie pieces held it back from amazing.
