It's not super busy inside, only two other table today. Parking lot attached, that's a plus during the week and Saturday. Order via the QR code at the table. Ordered a regular Sexy tractor and a regular Lil kimchi with chicken (on special), added garlic and jalapeno. $52.81 Regular pizza takes about 15 minutes to make. Wish they had a salad, since they have much of the ingredients for the pizzas anyways. Oh well. No salad tonight. You get a wristband if you get tapped beer. We aren't drinking, so we skipped the spiel. Our metal trays look a bit weathered, hoping they are clean. The little kimchi chicken is flavorful, crust is perfect, even better on the regular with 4 corners. Lacking in chicken, only encountered two small chunks of chicken out of two pizza corners so far. The sexy tractor with the pickle and pickled cabbage with hot sauce and chicken isn't for me, no part of this pizza worked for me. My husband thought it was okay. Suddenly turned into a kid zone. A party with 20+ kids came in, don't think they are here for the tap beer at all. It sounds like the Kid zone in here all of a sudden, super loud. Guess she kids are here to get games and pizza on then?

No this place was surprisingly not it for me I've been to the other location. It's much cleaner. This place was so NOT what I thought it was. The guy behind the counter and the register picked his nose while we waited for our pizza, which immediately gross me out. The place was not clean and very empty. He brought out our pizza which we couldn't eat because we couldn't stop thinking how he was just picking his nose at the register before bringing our pizza to the table. My son got nauseous and threw up in the bathroom. We left immediately. This place is also smaller than the other location . Never would return.

Elote pizza, an absolute must

One of the best pizzas I have had in metro Detroit. The Elote pizza is a phenomenal option that you likely won't get anywhere else. You can't go wrong with their other options like the spicy pepperoni or meat sweats. For your convenience they have all of their beer on tap to help yourself or you can pick up some cans to take home with you. They also have trivia available on Tuesday nights to bring a group along and enjoy the night! Come a little early to secure a spot because this gem of restaurant is getting very popular

Stupidly good pizza. The elote returns is unlike any pizza I have ever had before. The crust is perfectly crispy. I would pass on the pretzels in future, the beer cheese didn't have a lot of flavor. They have trivia on Tuesdays, which was fun. My biggest surprise was the acoustics. Most places like that are loud but this place you can easily enjoy a convo with your table even when super busy. Other downside is the communal tables. Overall though great spot!!

Service was very friendly and helpful. It was are first time here so the walked us through how everything worked. Great Wall of craft beers. The pour your own and pay per ounce was great. Allows you to try before you commit to a beer. Seating was community style long picnic tables. Tv made it a great place to catch a game. The food was amazing. Some of the best Detroit style pizza hands down. Better than Shields and Buddy's for sure. Will definitely return.

Came on Dream Cruise weekend (Sunday around 2pm) there were only a few people in the place - not sure if that's how Sundays normally are or if it was because of the cruise. Tried the chicken salad sandwich and garlic parm fries. Both were really good. Self serve beer wall, water for non-beer drinkers. I'm not a huge beer lover but I tried a pineapple ale and a cherry sour, both were yummy. First glass I pulled to fill had lipstick prints on it so maybe a washing issue? Grabbed another one and it was lip print free. Music was loud for the big space and maybe it seemed louder because it was pretty empty inside?

PSA: before summer is over, get yourself to the Royal Oak location, secure a seat on the patio, boop the beer dispensing machine for something really refreshing, and mow down on the chicken salad sandwich + parm fries. It is absolutely perfect in every way. It's on a house-made PRETZEL for goodness sake. Okay. That's all.

We had a great time. Cool experience. Tasted a few of the taps. The strawberry wine and cherry craft were my favorites. The pizza was delicious; I had the pear one. We also tried pepperoni pizza and the sauce has a bit of heat to it. They didn't have anything non alcoholic but water and kombucha...definitely need lemonade or fruit punch or something. The music was good too. Looking forward to visiting during the warmer months; the outside area looked very nice! Service was great; very attentive and explained the process.

Awesome spot! Great beers and pizza was fire!!!! Went to the RO Location. Atmosphere, Cleanliness, Decor, Food and Beer was all on point! The 32oz max was weird cause we were there for about 2 hours so. 2 pints each??

Very cool space! One of, if not the best Detroit style pizzas I have ever had. So much flavor, crisp crust, spicy pepperoni, perfect bake! The homemade ranch was also great!

Awesome self serve brewery with some of the best Detroit style pizza! I like the uniqueness of the fermentation of the crust, the pizzas loaded with cheese and taste amazing and they have some awesome pizzas to choose from!

First, Justin, at the desk, is ah. Maze. Ing. I have a weird allergy and called in advance. Justin himself took our order so that I would be safe. NO restaurant has ever done that so we're now loyal customers forever just for that. Second, the pizza is outstanding. We had the Magherita, the Fungi, and the Spicy Pepperoni and all were delish. The CRUST!!! Holy focaccia, it's magnificent The self tap beer is genius and easy to use. Mine was the orange and it was yummy. Be aware that tables are communal so you'll make friends. My one suggestion is to place the QR code stickers all along the tables. We had to reach over folks and that was awkward. For our 3 it was 6 thumbs way up!

A smorgasbord of beer!! What a great place, you get to pour your own beer! They have over 20 handles of draft beer to choose from. I tried 6 different styles of beer and settled on the Elephant IPA. Being a home brewer this kind of place is right up my alley!!! When you enter the building the sweat smell of pizza was so overwhelming that we decided to change our plans for dinner and stayed there to eat!! We ordered a cheese pizza and the spicy pepperoni!! It was outstanding! The employees were very helpful and kind!! We will definitely be coming back next time we come to Detroit!!

When the taproom is full the used glass rack drips old beer all over the floor, around the rack area. And it is very near the tapwall.

Little difficulty with folks who aren't as tech savvy as there are not servers or menus but if you don't want a typical restaurant experience where you have to wait for everyone to arrive (you know you have those friends that are always late for everything!) to order this is your jam. Food has always been good and their drink selection is as diverse as you're going to find in the craft beer scene today. Yes, 1/3-1/2 of their taps are IPA's but that's what you people have done to this world.

A hostess who takes your money and gives you a bracelet, automated beer, and you use your phone to order from the kitchen, they text you and you go get your food. I wondered many times how they could serve alcohol and not monitor how much people were drinking? So I asked. The host is in the front said at the end of 32 oz is your bracelet will not work and you need to come up and see me to reset it. I guess that's how they would monitor whether or not someone could get another 32 oz? I'm surprised not more places have copied their business layout. With the new generation, this would be the place to go, you barely have to speak to anyone except for the people you're with.

It's an easy place to settle in, whether you're grabbing a drink, meeting friends, or easing into a weekend. I love that they have brunch now, and it's legit. We eat with our eyes first, and the food here always looks as good as it tastes. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming, which makes a big difference. Great drinks, great food, great vibes. The inside and outside was decorated head-to-toe in festive lights, ornaments, and wrapping paper. My party and I sat in their igloo outdoor seating which highlighted the festive atmosphere. The igloo seating was easy to book online on Open Table with a max seating of 6 people per igloo. The holiday drink menu for the Jingle pop up had a lot of range. I tried their Santa's Milk & Cookies holiday cocktail, which came in a festive Mrs. Claus' mug. The drink was VERY strong! I ordered the Crisper Chicken Sandwich which had a delicious pesto aioli and sun-dried tomato relish which elevated the sandwich. Yum! Between the decor, themed drinks, great food, and the fun atmosphere, this event was such a great way to kick off the holiday season. If you're thinking about checking out a holiday pop-up, Ale Mary's Jingle is absolutely worth it!
