Do not buy product from this establishment. They sent me all previously used, or returned product and tried to pass it off as new. I don't know what kind of scam this place is trying to run but it's disgusting. As you can see in the photos the products have been used and there is even hair and debris in some of them. The powders were all empty, and the jars all had chunks missing out of them. When I reached out to their store, they tried to gaslight me into thinking I didn't know the powders would be light. I even sent photos to their email to which they just responded that they were going to send a return label. No offer to re-send new product, nothing. I've never received such poor service from a store. How bad does an establishment have to be to allow their employees (intentional or not) to pack returned/used items to fulfill an order. This whole situation is so bizarre. Never again. read more

I was just here yesterday and I was blown away. This place is phenomenal. I work nearby and was looking for a new barber and decided to check yelp to see what was nearby. I checked out their website and decided to schedule an appointment for a beard and haircut. Yancy spent an hour cutting my hair and beard. Not only that, they give you this amazing massage and hot towel treatment if you go with the beard and haircut. All that for only $25. Best haircut I've ever had and incredible value. I'll be back again and again. This is a high-end experience for a more than reasonable price. The place is small, so definitely make an appointment. If you end up having a couple people in front of you, you may end up having to wait for a long time. Thankfully, I was able to set an appointment so I didn't have to wait at all. read more

I was looking for a barbar shop to give my daughter at tapper and to get a lining (after being butchered at a "high-end" shop) and found this shop hidden on the back of what look like an office building. I got there right when it opened at 9am hoping 1. they accepted walk-ins and 2 . they wasn't typical Saturday morning crowded. I was pleased that they both accepted us and was free cut after only one person. The receptionist was pleasant as well as the two female barbars Priscilla and other lady I can't remember name. Mixed music going on, clean shop (sweeping after each cut), modern. To be honest I was a bit nervous that, as an African American male, I'm getting a cut in a non-African American shop and by a woman (I simply never had a woman cut my hair, it's just not common in AA shops). My daughter 16 was up first and she liked her hair cut... and she's very hard to please. Teens. Priscilla gave me a lining the was sharp as a tack all the while giving great customer service. As checkout, they accept credit card, I was surprised at how reasonably price they we're and gave a great tip. I will be returning and would recommend them to anyone looking for a cut. read more

Alright, so I've been looking for a barber north of Baltimore for almost 2 years now, and I recently moved to Towson, where I stumbled upon Elesmod's. I couldn't have been happier with the place and the result. I walked in and had to wait a little over an hour, which I was slightly annoyed with at first, but then realized that hat was the mark of a good Barber and my annoyance quickly faded. Once I was able to sit in the chair he was very friendly and extremely detail oriented. My haircut was amazing, but what really made my visit was the hot towel shave that I received. Honestly, that is normally how I determine if I'll be coming back to a barber shop - and I will be. It was the best shave I've had in a long time. Need a haircut and was in the area of Loyola. Checked out barbers near me and this place popped up with 5 stars. When I arrived in downtown Towson where they are I discovered that there isn't any unpaid parking spots. While initially bummed, I decided to give them a try and they do indeed deserve 5 stars for being a most excellent shop. I was told where the nearby free parking was (not from the area). More importantly was the excellent hair cut I recurved from Spencer, a consummate barber for gents. They also do straight razor full on shaves with the hot towel. Absolute hack job. "Take a little off" (of a 5 month beard) apparently meant to leave only 1/2" and I cannot even begin to describe how choppy the actual cut itself was other than to say that my moustache simultaneously had 1/4" hairs and 1"+ hairs. Uneven neck line and a terrible part placement (big deal given the style). Just spent 30 minutes evening out my own beard (had some beard hair still as long as 2" on my cheeks, which didn't jive well with the short whiskers on my chin) and am now headed in for my second haircut of the day. This barber shop has become my favorite place to get a cut and beard trim in the Baltimore area. One of the few places around here that can do facial hair well. Everyone is friendly over there. ROMY DOES NOT SPEAK ENGLISH. I figured this out AFTER I pointed to the front of my head and asked him NOT to make the hair too short. When he lopped a bunch of it off, I pointed again and said that I had wanted him to leave it longer. He was about to cut it AGAIN, and that's when I realized he wasn't understanding a word I said. I get that he's an immigrant and English isn't his first language, but you'd THINK that someone working as a BARBER in the US would understand words related to cutting hair, right? NOPE. And he just pretended to understand me- but why?? Why didn't he try to clarify what I was saying? Before I figured out that there was a language barrier, he had already made the rest of my hair uneven. I paid for the haircut and then went to ANOTHER barber nearby to have them fix what they could, but of course they couldn't fix the the chopped off hair. Totally ruined my hairstyle. I am FUMING. Decided to drive 30min from home to try this place because I didn't like the barber shops nearby and I didn't want to go to Supercuts. I got a haircut and beard trim by Romy who did an excellent job. I was a little worried that he might rush me since I was a walk-in and it seemed like he had an appointment coming up but he still took his time and gave me exactly what I wanted. I will be making future appointments with him for sure. The price was reasonable as well. Haircut + beard trim came to $25. Something to note if it's your first time visiting is that they do accept credit card payments but tips must be in cash. Good thing I had cash on me because Romy deserved a good tip. read more

I was looking for a barber that was precise and detailed and Romy was that and more. First, the shop was clean and cozy. It was easy to find and his shop had that hip-hop feel but mixed in with that old time Italian barber feel (but Dominican). His fade was excellent and sharp. But what was more impressive was when he laid the chair back and got a hot towel and shaped up my beard like no barber has ever done. It was amazing... and he made my beard just shine. Went here because it was the only barber that I could find that allowed an easy booking with the Booksy app in the area that did straight razor shaves. Looked at a few other barbers in DC that also did straight razor shaves, but this one seemed pretty affordable and some good artistry in the designs in the reviews. Also they showed my hairstyle/cut I have been working on for a while in their selections of popular styles. Went in expecting nothing less than exceptional, after seeing other reviews, and I WASN'T disappointed at all. I was actually pleasantly surprised at how Romy did my look I thought I wanted without me giving him any particulars, just told him to work his magic and he did.
