So I booked an appt for the following Saturday. When I sat down in the chair Andrew asked me how do you want your hair cut? I told him in was here for a shave and bread trim. He seemed pissed off and proceeded to tell me he prefers haircut because he doesn't like to get into peoples personal space. ? Really. Go drive a truck for a living then. Also his hands reeked of cigarette smoke. I recieved none of the services I was promised. I won't be back.

I don't know what kind of scam this place is trying to run but it's disgusting. As you can see in the photos the products have been used and there is even hair and debris in some of them. The powders were all empty, and the jars all had chunks missing out of them. When I reached out to their store, they tried to gaslight me into thinking I didn't know the powders would be light. I even sent photos to their email to which they just responded that they were going to send a return label. No offer to re-send new product, nothing. I've never received such poor service from a store. How bad does an establishment have to be to allow their employees (intentional or not) to pack returned/used items to fulfill an order. This whole situation is so bizarre. Never again.

BUT, I got a $60 service from Charlie and the shop only charges $45. So this is usually a TLC to myself every couple months or so. I've sat in all 4 chairs and I've never been disappointed. What they may lack in conversation, these gentlemen make up for it by caring about their work and being excellent barbers. Walk in, sit down, don't have to say a word and they just do what they do. Always great music and conversations with the stylists, I have a local barber I see regularly these days but they weren't comfortable with a special request I had after dying my hair so I gave Old Bank a call. I went to see Dante on a Wednesday at noon and he was not only a pleasure to talk to but did a great job giving me a Mohawk which I have gotten a ton of complements on. They are very affordable and even provide straight razor shaves. Genuinely one of the best places to get a haircut in Baltimore.
