This is definitely a typical Dominican barbershop with all Latinos speaking Spanish the entire time. However, they are from what I gathered since I can understand a little bit of Spanish, very friendly. I appreciate the genuine kindness throughout the shop and can tell the owner have all of the guys in check since he's older. I really enjoyed my haircut and it was only $20 which for a men's haircut is normal. He asked the right questions and really gave me a great haircut. I'm satisfied and pleased with the service received. They only accept cash, so come prepared. It's a small shop, but all types of people, including females were at this facility to get there hair cut. I'd recommend this place and would personally come back. I know people are sketchy with who cuts their hair, but this place seems like they're all well trained in their craft and they're not stylist pretending to to know how to do a shape up lol. read more

I love this shop! Fast, efficient service, the guys are always pleasant and the music is great! Of course the barbers have a range of skill levels but I return time after time for myself and my son. I've yet to be in the shop for more than 30-45 minutes even at the busiest times. read more

I been a regular customer for years being a student at Morgan State University. Theyve always had a list system for haircut, but within my last 3 visits I've noticed that the order of you cut drastically depends on if you're sitting in the front. Doesnt seem like they have enough barbers for the work load , but been skipped by several customers on several occasions is a lack of quality. read more

Zero stars. Haircut was terrible for my son. Didn't really listen to what he wanted. He's a teen and they refused to let me wait inside the shop cuz Covid and what not. If I had been there I would have stopped the hatchet job he got. He's basically decided no more haircuts. I hate when barbers and stylists don't listen. They think they know best. I am very particular about who I give my business too. Barbershops can be very disappointing but this barbershop was very refreshing! Here is why I rated it the way I did. Professionalism: laid back environment (like all barbershops). There is a sign in sheet by the entrance so the barber's can keep track of the order of their customers. Great! I was also greeted when I walked in with a "hello". Lot of barber's just act like they dont see you. Time: all of the barbers seemed to have managed their time appropriately. I never felt forgotten and never felt like I was being rushed. Environment: seemed clean to Me! Haircut: my barber did EXACTLY what i requested. I'm not sure if there was a language barrier. (Spanish, Hispanic, Latino?) But whether he understood English or not is irrelevant because I showed a picture of what i wanted and he got It! We communicated with each other verbally with few words and he understood perfectly. I love everything about the barbershop and the guy who cut my hair. (Sorry. I cant remember his name.) Me? Used to come all the time when I was at TU and have gone back in recent years but my visit today will be my last. The barber said he could do a skin fade with a short trim in the front and he proceeds to buzz half my head. The fade was mediocre and the haircut looks awful. read more

If you're looking for a clean fade this is the shop for you. But that's all it is, I've asked for a low fade/ tapped twice and came out with a normal fade...on one side and my parted side had no fade at all lol. It's like all they hear is "fade" and just do what they think. I've showed pictures and still nothing. No stars!! I came with my 12yr old son early Sunday morning March 26, 2022 for a blow out with shape up! I speak Spanish and it was still hard to understand under their thick accent. He assured me that it was all good, plus showed me the pictures of the haircut on the wall and what to expect. Still had me wait outside in the cold. It was brief but when I got the call from my son that, it's done. I totally disappointed, no effort whatsoever in making it nice, no water combover or gel. Nothing! Not even a thank you! After charging my son an adult haircut price for just doing his sideburns. Plus he had the nerve to charge me a dollar for the stupid mask when the city/county stop mandating it! I asked for a skin fade and my hair parted and the barber cut my hair to comb forward like a 5 year old. I got a beard trim as well and my line was fine, but he didn't fade in my beard or cut down any of the beard length at all. He seemed more concerned about watching a telenovela and talking on the phone then cutting my hair. Will not be back. read more

BEST BARBERSHOP IN BALTIMORE!! You have to make an appointment to get cut but the staff is very friendly and takes walks ins with welcoming hands. I've been in Baltimore 8 years and nearly every barber has messed up my hair EXCEPT for Durank. His cuts are A1. And trust me this is coming from a guy who in his first 3 years living in Baltimore used to drive home 4hrs to New York for a good haircut. 1/18/2019 first time since my husband and myself have been going here and Yanet was on vacation and we encountered discrimination, fat shaming, disrespect, embarrassment, we have NEVER ever had nor gave a problem until this date. EVEN when i was disappointed in the beginning i stuck in there until things got better. So walking in today and encountering all of this leaves me looking for lawyers. There is rarely a long wait at this shop because the barbers actually work. The shop I used to go to would have barbers just sitting around waiting for their friends. The barbers a professional and value your time. The cuts are great they use straight razors as much as possible which is good. Would highly recommend. read more

I've been getting my hair cut here for a few months now. A few of the barbers have cut my hair. They are all good. Durank is the man though. I travel for a living and it makes it hard to find the time for a cut but they make it easy. They cut great fades and can work magic on your beard. I recently sent my fiancés little brothers in and they did an amazing job with them also. They can do hard parts...any styles..you name it. If you decide to go there, there is sometimes a wait...but it goes by fast and is worth it!!! They speak Spanish and English, and you'll hear alot more spanish. To me that's cool...even though my Spanish isn't very great. I honestly don't care if they spoke Chinese...I'd still go there because their cuts are solid. You may have to pay to park...but it's def worth the few dollars you'll pay. When you get there they'll ask you to sign in and then they will take you as soon as they are available. If you like your cut, don't forget to tip your barber. Their pricing is very fair...they charge less than some barbers but do much better work and are great people. Make up for it with a good tip. I can't speak to the haircuts because I ended up just walking out. This place has 0 customer service. Not a single friendly face/smile. I felt awkward sitting there - not knowing if my name would be called or skipped over on accident due to their their very tacky waitlist. Nobody in there acknowledged me or my existence . All of the barbers, with long and uninviting faces, just talked to each other in Spanish occasionally and to nobody else. Very good haircuts. A haircut and shave will cost $20.00 which is a bargain. Very experienced stylists who know how to cut hair. I am subtracting 1 star as the wait can be long and they need to hire perhaps 1 or 2 more barbers. I will be returning. read more
