I got a haircut yesterday, 08/19/21 at Elevate. It's my third time getting my haircut there. The first time my haircut was perfect, the second time it was not good. So I decide to give them another shot. I scheduled an appointment with John, the 20- something year old college student who works there. Nice kid, we chat while he's cutting my hair. He's in school for business law at ASU, and he's in his senior year. The haircut ends, he charges me $30 and I tip him 20% for a job well done... Well apparently 20% wasn't enough money for this young man. As today, 08/20/21 I check my bank statement to find he charged me an additional $14 for the cut. Totaling $50, not the $36 originally agreed upon. He secretly up-charged me after I left.... You would think a business law student wouldn't be doing something illegal like that, but I guess dishonesty is a good trait to have these days. I would go somewhere else, that was a scumbag move and I hope people read this review and get a haircut elsewhere or atleast do not give their business to John. read more

My first experiences at elevate were good with one of the two guys doing my haircut. The most recent experience was awful with the lady as I asked to keep the top long with only an inch and a half off. She only took and inch and a half off of the front but she took much more than that off the rest of my top. My haircut looks absolutely horrendous and now I have to wait weeks for it to grow back. read more

Daniel runs a great shop. I came in on a Saturday and even though he had another reservation in 10 minutes he squeezed me in and had me out the door with a great cut in less than 30 minutes. Love the cut and the service even more. The person who called to reserve a spot ended up no call no showing. Folks, don't do that. If you call to make a reservation and don't plan to show up, call the business back to let them know you need to cancel. Be courteous. read more

I went in there just asking to get the sides of my hair and back of my hair to get trimmed but instead she shaved off nearly any hair I had on the top of my head and it was so bad that my girlfriend ended up breaking up with me because of how ugly the haircut was and I woudl t recommend this place to anyone because not only did I have to get a terrible haircut I had to pay an overpriced amount just for some terrible haircut I will have to cover up for my first day of school and months after read more
