I was recently discharged from harbor village 6/5/2026....upon accepting me Delray medical informed…read morethem of my medical condition,,,I had ran out a supplies but advised medical pre hand that I had needed more.... decided to go to hospital because I needed a catheter inserted because without it I would have urinary retention..affecting my kidneys.....it took 2 weeks to get supplies...upon release they refused to give the supplies ordered strictly for me trying to send me home with 3 straight catheters in which I insert myself every 4 hrs to with draw the urine that still filled my bladder ...I had to remove the bag tonight because it was leaking while at a meeting and due to not having the supplies needed I have to go to the ER again.....their running on the bear minimum...they good staff members techs,and case managers and theripest are the best but over worked and probably under paid ....thank God I've been incarcerated most of my life that I can deal with I humanly environments.. but for those that may need a more structured treatment center harbor village is t the place for you.but all in all it's a safe place shelter wise...I don't know who the lady was that was advising tech Micky and the other guy but she said I couldn't get my property,,,refused to get me transportation home and refused to give me my medical supplies are successfully completing residential with the discharge date of 06/05/2026....it's now 06/10/2026....in a sober living house in which my aunt had to Uber me to from harbor village,,I sit on the porch waiting to go to ER.gonna have to take a buddy cause I really feel like relapsing having to go back to ER.... I went one or twice more tried to do it obviously I failed now I call that I am dialled in that I want to get my treatment and I'm in that headspace and I get told by I guess the supervisor that Jenna no longer will allow me to use my insurance to go see her that I need to pay $300 out-of-pocket every time I do because according to her I didn't follow her procedures to me. It sounds more like farming people with money than helping people it is crazy to me but it's all good now I know who and what type of person she is well I always knew what type of person she was and the things I've seen of her oof. They made me wait all month for my appointment and for me to come in, which is physically difficult to do on its own, to tell me they won't accept me as a patient. Now, days before my prescription expires, I have to scramble back to my referring doctor to renew my prescription. All the nurse practitioner offered me is suboxone for when I will inevitably go through withdrawal due to their carelessness. My previous pain management doctor has been transitioning all of his opiate clients out of his practice and referred me specifically to Dr. Kamlet because this is his speciality. I assumed there would be little issue. It's a real slap in the face, on top of already having come in last month to receive ketamine treatment for my back-pain and being turned away due to their practice not using ketamine to treat back-pain, which I explicitly explained to the receptionist that I would come in for over the phone. Traversing the ever-changing field of medical care regarding opioid pain medication is hard enough and painful enough without falling victim to this kind of careless and abusive mismanagement.

I asked if I could wait on hold because it was important and she told me no because she has calls on hold but she placed an urgent message and he will call back. (the doctor only comes in on Thursdays) After an hour of no call back I decided to go back to the office before 4pm because the doctor was going to leave. The doctor and assistant were immediately available to answer my question.. I did not wait more than 10 seconds to get attended... and when I asked why they did not call me back, I was told the agent said I hung up on her and a call back was not necessary. I am very annoyed because this is not the first time I encounter this kind of disrespect and negligence. It's ridiculous that I was told I would get a call back and I would have never gotten the call back because the receptionist lied. I didn't even get an apology. Horrible front desk service. Negligent and liars. Do not trust them with your messages they are probably not giving them.

Dear Evolutions Team, I am writing to thank you for all you…read moredid for my family and I these past months.  Never in a million years could I have predicted I would be in a situation that increasingly spiraled out of control over the last few years.  For me I was lost, but for my parents it was a nightmare to watch someone they loved so much become someone they no longer knew or could help.  I know for them the most difficult thing about the whole process was the feeling of having no control over what was unfolding right before their eyes, and the sense of hopelessness that they could not change my path.  Your staff and facility gave us that hope back.  In the last months of 2019, things were particularly bad, and my family started researching options to stop the cycle that was unfolding. My mom's first call to Evolutions, she spoke to Adam.  He called me back several times to see how we were doing while trying to convince me to get some help. Adam walked them through the process and encouraged them to keep trying.  Adam called daily for almost a week to see what progress they had made in convincing me to take the first step.  Once I entered detox I was assigned to Leon as a patient. Leon continued to reach out to my parents and it was obvious he was genuinely concerned about my family and me.  Thank you Leon, for helping my family and I navigate a process that clearly was the worst thing my family had ever had to initiate, and encouraging me to keep trying.  I am not sure where we would be if you had not been so helpful with the first steps. As I moved into the PHP and through most of my IOP steps, Jackie became a regular point of communication for my family and I. What started as dread for my parents every time the phone would ring from Evolutions, soon became a highlight of my mother's week that she looked forward to. Jackie, your support, education, and no nonsense approach to my addiction, and your instructing of my parents and how they needed to change their response to it was amazing. The transformation I felt and my parents saw week after week continued to give us the hope we needed that we would see light at the end of this tunnel someday.  Your focus on accountability allowed my parents and I to process our feelings and understand their approach to supporting me going forward.  Your encouragement to my mother, Peter, and I will always be remembered and I hope you know the impact you had on our lives. Michelle, you stepped in and had big shoes to fill after Jackie. You quickly picked up right where Jackie left off and helped me to continue growing and kept me motivated.  Lots of changes came pretty quickly and you encouraged me to keep moving forward and kept my family informed of the next steps. Thank you for this and supporting me in my last weeks' there. Lastly, I would like to give a giant thank you to the IOP residence staff. When this pandemic locked us down, we became stuck with one another. This was very stressful and at times could get quite overwhelming. Wendy, Mack, and Heidi made every day as great as they could.  Let's face it there wasn't much to do. It was a boring time, but Wendy always kept a smile and always asked me how my day was, even if I could tell hers was pretty crazy. Something really clicked for me when I moved over to the IOP residence, so thank all of you so much. You guys helped me more than you know and for that I am forever thankful. There really are no words to express how much my family and I appreciate the entire team that helped me through these last months.  While my parents came to grips with the fact that I needed to want and do this, the respect, care, and communication provided through all stages of the Evolutions treatment plan was greatly appreciated. I was climbing the walls and had no choice but to take more pills. I walked into summerhouse very apprehensive but had no options. The first 2 days was not easy but they gave me the right meds so I can get through it. Every worker, dr, nurse and cook really cared about me and my needs. I went to a Narcotics anonymous meeting and felt at home. I know that the reason I used these pills was to help with the pain and not for a fun affect. I am.now 5 days in with 2 more to go and summerhouse was the answer to my prayers. I no longer need drugs to get through thr pain. Thank you to everyone who helped me on my journey. Even the owner has taken the time to talk to me. The nurses took their time with me to be sure I was comfortable and had the right meds to sleep. Even the cook made sure I liked the food and was willing to make something special for me to eat. This was the first and hopefully the last time I will need a detox center but if I should, I will definitely come to summerhouse. God Bless these people for helping me get through this horrible experience.
