With several inches of rain across multiple days and perfect growing conditions after I fertilized, these guys somehow managed to turn parts of my yard brown. Even the open grassy areas in the common land has bare patches from where they rip up grass with their heavy machinery. Without even looking at my yard, the service rep began arguing with me that my complaints were invalid. I've experienced professional landscaping crews. Fourstar is not professional in anything they do. If you can't find anyone else and don't want to mow your own lawn, I'd recommend just putting in a rock garden on top of a weed barrier.

He took the time to make sure all of the old rose bushes were removed not leaving any roots that might come back. He also replaced an azalea bush that had died and added new soil around it to help it grow. We also had him extend our sump pump drainage pipe in our yard. He took the time to ensure everything was done properly, especially since he ran into irrigation lines in the process. He took the time to move several components in the irrigation lines so it wouldn't interfere with the new drainage line he was running. He brought in new soil and placed it around the extended line since the existing soil was very muddy and over saturated with water. My neighbor used him to also extend their buried drainage lines for the gutters as well as build a fire pit on their patio. Justin did an excellent job for them as well. I would highly recommend using Under the Sun KC and will definitely be using him for all of our future landscaping needs!

Our installation rep was fantastic, and listened to all our requests and concerns, and also did a great job taking our outdoor skills (read: lack thereof) into consideration when offering up choices for greenery and color around our house! It was a blast getting to pick through options! We opted for all sorts of trees, bushes, plants, and ornamental grasses. Everything was installed quickly and professionally, and came out fantastic! Afterward, we've also had them perform annual maintenance for all the plant beds and mulch application. On the plus side, this work has always been done to high standards, and looks fantastic when complete! The piece that hasn't be as fun to deal with is that their prices have crept up each of the years we've worked with them, and although some amount of inflationary increase is normal, the price increases have been uncomfortably higher than that. So, my recommendation is to make sure to do your due diligence on competitive bids, but, overall, and outside of the cost, we've been pretty happy with our experience and our beautiful landscaping!
