I went with a small group of 10 people on a Saturday for brunch. The service was poor, the food was average, and the aesthetics were okay. Parking is free in their lot. I ordered the salmon sliders. The sliders lacked flavor and the sauce was limited; I had to request more sauce to add flavor and finish eating my food. The fries were okay, temperature wise could have been served hotter. Service is terrible at this restaurant I came to celebrate my sister bday and we had a reservation and they were over booked and only had a few tables left. We had a party of 8 and we all got our food at separate times. Waited over a hour for water and our last two orders, which is ridiculous especially when they are over charging for mediocre food. We had the lamb chops, which were undercooked and had to be sent back twice and we had three orders or the lamb, then I order the jerk chicken which was pink rice and peas were dry as hell, salmon Alfredo was left in the kitchen under the warming light for who knows how long pasta was sooooo stiff it doesn't even move around in the bowl I was able to turn the bowl sideways and it did not move. The pasta was over cooked and mushy. The chicken wings I order were supposed to be lemon pepper and they lacked lemon and pepper. I'm highly upset about this experience because we came for a fun time and to make memories and this was awfully disappointing. The male manager on duty not sure if he is the General Manager or what but was very unprofessional he doesn't have any knowledge of table numbers or guess complaints before hand because he is not doing his table touches. I am a general manager of the PF Changs in the airport which I opened so I know protocol and this is unacceptable. Then when I asked to speak to him again to correct this bill the server stated she doesn't know where he is or any of the management staff. Well, my answer to this problem is everyone needs to retrained properly. Black owned establishment already get a bad rap so we as African-Americans have to do better ourselves are community and the people that support our businesses. Please do contact me to handle this issue because I'm not done talking about my experience. The focus should not only be on the music, but time management as well as serving providing quality food and an exceptional experience. Also, it states on the menu how we can not split checks but I watched a party of 20 split they check sooooooooo many different ways. You have to stay consistent and fair to everyone. Date night was great and I have gone back several times since my first visit. Besides the hospitality, what I can say I most appreciated was the "vibe". There is something there for everyone. They had a DJ and live music on both sides. I made reservations and when we got to the restaurant, they couldn't find our reservations. They sat us at a table and we ate. After we ate, the waitress told us that we had to move to the bar. She said there is a two hour limit at the table. When we received our bill, there were 18% gratuity and a 5.00 charge if you paid by card. I ordered the oyster mushrooms, expecting them to come sauced like the menu suggested, but they arrived plain -- just battered, greasy mushrooms with no flavor and no vegan ranch even though it was listed. My server didn't bring the food, so I couldn't even check on what was missing. If you're going for the fun, the drinks, the birthday energy -- go for it. It's great for that. A friend and I visited this restaurant about 2 months ago. I was looking for a place that I had not been to. What a mistake! First of all, we waited about 15 minutes before a server acknowledged us. It appeared as if they all were preparing for a large group event. I ordered the wings which were tasty but a small potion. In addition, I had a house salad which was fine. I believe my friend had the fried catfish which she described as OK. We decided to order drinks. I had a margarita with Don Julio tequila, and she had a long island ice tea. The margarita cost $18.50, while the long island ice tea was $17.00. We have had the same drink for less elsewhere. The ambience was more like a party environment and not suited to an early dinner. The atmosphere and decor were also very nice, except for the music being very loud. I like music, but when I'm eating and trying to hear the conversation with my wife, very loud music can be annoying. Most people had to either talk loudly or lean over the table to hear the person they were talking to. I think that the music volume should be based on the crowd and time of day. We were there on Sunday evening for dinner at 6:15 PM, not to "party" while trying to eat. I would suggest turning the music up at around 8:30 to 9:00 PM because most people will have eaten dinner by that time. read more

I visited this restaurant for the first time this weekend. I made 2 reservations for 6 people on yelp but when I called to confirm and ask to combine the reservation for 12, I was told that they could not see the Yelp reservation because of some challenges with their reservation system. However, the manager confirmed that he updated the system and I immediately received a confirmation in my email. If there is no parking in the paved area, be prepared to park in the gravel. When we entered the lobby, the smoke met you at the door, it was overpowering and we contemplated leaving. We decided to stay. It got better once we were seated. Overall the food was good. The garden salad, blackened salmon, mashed potatoes and broccoli was really good. The beef sliders, wings and fries were really good. However I have an issue with paying $32, 37 and $45 for an entree and I have to eat my food with plastic cutlery and drink out of a plastic cup. In addition, we waited over an hour for a seafood platter. My entire party was done eating before the entree came and there was no offer of an accommodation or discount for the delay. The lobster was salty. Our waitress were attentive and quick. The DJ was good and my group had fun dancing. I love supporting black businesses. Especially when they are in the neighborhood and I don't have to drive to Perimeter, Buckhead or Downtown Atlanta. Please work on your exhaust system to keep the cigar smoke in the cigar lounge. Please synch your reservation systems so that customers don't have to get calls after the fact and on the day of their reservation requesting a $150 deposit (this was waived after me expressing that i had spoken with a manager and the events manager neither of them mentioned a deposit). Staff should be on one page about reservations. Plastic cutlery and cups should be used for to- go orders or at a customers request and not standard. Fixing these mentioned items will make this a 5 star experience. I will definitely try this restaurant again for brunch. read more
