$63 for much of nothing. On Taco, Tuesday, still ended up paying $14 for 2 tacos.

Sorry, I tried this place again and wanted to really like it, but the prices are ridiculous! Went for Taco Tuesday a little after 7, ended up with a salmon taco and a philly cheesesteak taco to go. A shot of Woodford in a shot glass (small) was $14. Ridiculous!! Two tacos $14 with no sides!? I thought it was Taco Tuesdays, where the tacos were $4??? Plus an added gratuity to the bill... $63 and some change total for much of nothing! I gave an extra star for the bartender who provided friendly service/ conversation and made a good drink.

First time visiting for a quick bite to eat and some good music. When I walked in I was like wait a minute. I seem people playing spades. But the hostess walked us to the back to sit to eat. Music selection is great. The food was okay. Not a must to eat here but the drinks were perfect. The service from staff was good and spot on. Wings are okay and the fries were cold. I will be back to chill just not to eat. Bring the girls out or come as a group it was a fun environment.

Really nice spot. I don't know what was going on tonight but it was packed. Just a little hot for the amount of people in the place. The drinks were good and the food also. I will come back because it was a lot of fun and laughter.

I dropped in early on a Friday night for happy hour after eyeing this place for weeks. Thankfully it wasn't crowded but I opted to sit at the bar. The menu had quite a few things that sounded interesting but I opted for the salmon bites, onion rings and a rum punch since all were discounted for happy hour. The rum bunch was good, the onion rings were too but the salmon bites were the highlight. They were nice and crispy on the outside but hearty and juicy on the inside. The only thing in my opinion that would have made it better were if the batter had a little salt (or sugar) to really make it pop. It's a really cute place. I'll have to come back for an entree and one of the something special cocktails to see how the experience changes

We've been patiently awaiting the opening of Something Special Bar & Lounge here in Conyers and yesterday we had the opportunity to experience our new local Bar & Lounge. As with every opening of a restaurant the staff were very friendly and welcoming. For those adulting, you'll love the ambiance and feel of the dining and socializing spaces. On to the food choices, the menu isn't vast but the choices are very good. I tried the pecan roasted wings and the Mrs's had the chicken (Substituted for the shrimp) Alfredo and neither dish disappointed us. OoOh I almost forgot about the specialty drink menu...they have hella drink choices. Overall we enjoyed ourselves locally and definitely looking forward to spending more time meeting our neighbors...Thank you Something Special for giving us a "neighborhood spot" we feel good visiting.

Came for a Mother's Day dinner at 3:45 PM. Sign at door read "2-hr limit on tables" which fit perfectly into our plans. Waited about 3 mins to be seated, then saw that the bar was empty. We moved to the bar to have a better view of the playoff game. MISTAKE!! Bartender was a female who proceeded to tell us all of the things we could NOT have. We couldn't have lemon for our water and couldn't order food until 4:30 because the kitchen was switching over to dinner. People seated in tables around us were ordering food but we thought it was select appetizers that she told us were available. Our server was eating food and appeared to keep going back into the kitchen. Finally at 4:40, we asked if we could go ahead and order. She said yes. We gave her our order then about 5-mins later a male came out to verify our order. Meanwhile the ppl at other tables were getting their food...not the special appetizers but food that she told us we had to wait to order. None of our food came out at the same time. My salmon pieces, I mean nuggets ($18) came out first without utensils. I had to catch the eye of a manager to ask for a fork. Then my collards came out and they were lukewarm. My date had not received any of his food yet, then he got his side of greens and about 3-4 mins later received his curry shrimp and rice which was the tastiest item provided. This was my first visit here and likely my last. The original bartender never introduced herself and did not provide us with any updates about our meal, delay in services or that she was NOTcoming back. Services was horrible.

Upon entering the restaurant, the ambiance was very nice, and it gave a "grown and sexy" vibe. First off let me say that our waitress, (I won't say her name) wasn't attentive AT ALL. The only thing she did was take our order. She never checked on us, she wasn't the one who brought our food....nothing. I even put my empty glass on the corner so she would see it and just automatically re-fill it...nope. I had to get her attention and ask for a refill! Very disappointed about that. Now, on to the food. I had the lambchops, w/ veggies and a side of corn. The lambchops were delicious, but small. Whatever the veggies were, were very tasteful and seasoned to perfection! I also like the taste of the corn. My husband had a steak. He got it well done, but it came out w/ too much pink for his liking, so he sent it back to be cooked more. It came back out, just right and was seasoned well. There is also a D.J. that played the best music. It wasn't too loud either, which was a PLUS!! I will mos. def be returning in the near future. Try it for yourself!

I speak from experience as the hanger steak my brother saw online and wanted (which made us pick this restaurant) was not available this particular evening. On to the better stuff: I really liked their welcoming vibe and relaxed atmosphere. Complimentary sourdough bread was immediately served as well as celebratory champagne for my little brother's birthday. We started with the hush puppies appetizer and the French onion dip, which came with a bag of Zappo's potato chips. For dinner, I ordered the four cheese pasta, which I was informed is made in-house and is leaving the menu very soon. My only complaint was the size of the wine pours. When I inquired, they stated the pour was 6 ounces. The kind surprise was a generous top off when they sensed my disappointment. Their kids' menu -which isn't printed - is a little limited. Kids can pick from grilled cheese, chicken skewers, and a hamburger. One kiddo had a hamburger and my son snacked on their shoestring fries. All other adults ordered burgers and everyone seemed to enjoy their dinner. One more complimentary surprise showed up near the end of dinner which was a miniature Keylime pie in celebration of my brother's bday. Back home, we have very few restaurants that offer so many complimentary items. That definitely sets this restaurant apart from others. Also, having a small menu means they likely give lots of attention to the entrees they serve. Definitely recommend City Pharmacy!

We still had some room for dessert so tried the chocolate molten lava cakes, mine not so lava like but still tasty!

I got there pretty early, so it wasn't too crowded yet, which I actually liked--it gave off a chill, relaxed vibe. I had a honey margarita and a frozen lemonade--both were super refreshing. If you're just looking for a quick bite, especially pizza, or something to sip on without the pressure of a formal setting, this is the place. They had karaoke going, which made the night even more fun, and they were even giving out free drinks! That definitely added to the good energy. I'd absolutely go back again. They were crispy, very salty, but, they too, started as frozen. 1 order is 6 Wings. Flavors were just mediocre and the dressings were prepackaged dressing. Metal plates, plastic cups and disposable plastic utensils in sealed plastic. Cocktails were strong and good but served in small disposable plastic cups. Music was upbeat and loud. I think it would be fun to come here for a few drinks with friends and listen to music and maybe play a few games or watch a game on their big TV's. 6 wings, personal pizza with 2 toppings and 4 drinks before tip was $80.

So, we made the visit for a girls night but there was nothing nostalgic about the experience. The place was majority empty. We assumed it was because we arrived early, 7:30ish closer to 8. However my experience leads me to think differently. Upon entry we were greeted and seated. The menus were already laid on the table waiting for us. So, needless to say there was little to nothing for the host to greet you with or for; table presentation was NOT there. No cups napkins, condiments, eating utensils nothing! We got into the menus -ordered Soul Rolls, a Crab Cake, and 2-orders of wings for appetizers. The soul rolls were overcooked, the yams none existent, and the Macaroni was dry. The crab crake had a fishy taste to it and 1 order of wings was undercooked (per order request) the other was good. When we asked for the wings to be re-made they just throw the wings back in the grease and re-served them. Our MEALS: 2- Rasta Pastas, the yard man snapper, and the jalapeño burger. We had to ask for eating utensils 2x's and after about and 5 more minutes we got them. The Fish was okay but for what it cost (w/ gratuity) and tasted like -wasted money!!! The Rasta pasta was only Alfredo no peppers, cajun season or onions. I guess the burger was decent. We all ordered drinks - lemon drop flight, 4-24 k gold drinks, white wine sangria, and another lemon drop. The drink were meh - the lemon drop flight came w/ ice. My friend wanted a second sangria but couldn't order b/c they ran out of wine and I got a head ache after I drank the two 24ks. Then it came down to paying! Now I thought I was doing good on my balance but I got swindled. First off she had me pay my tab BEFORE she showed me my itemized receipt which include an auto 18% gratuity for 4 people (not worthy) service was SLOW and bad! Not to mention they charged a $2 difference on my drinks. The menu had $16 but I was charged $18 for both. Make them show your receipt ahead of payment. B/c we tipped on top of the gratuity that was included in our bill but weren't informed the tip was already included. The interior was nice, I liked the booth seating and decor. I really liked the fireplace setting. It gave a warm cozy feel. The music was a slight vibe once the drinks kicked in that's it. Advice- Don't believe content creators b/c they have special treatment!

I really wanted to see if things had improved since my last visit with a large party. Unfortunately, it still feels like a place with potential that's not being supported properly. When we walked in, I thought things had turned around. The new host (her first day) was amazing warm, confident, and professional. She gave a great first impression. But once seated, it went downhill. * The music was way too loud, to the point where we had to lean in just to talk. * There was only one server working the entire restaurant, which meant slow service, long waits, and a stressed-out vibe. Let's talk food: The fish and grits (see photo) were phenomenal easily the best thing I've had on both visits. Creamy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The chicken and waffles (see photo) were average. Chicken was seasoned okay, but the waffle was a bit underwhelming and slightly rubbery. This place could be a standout in the area the branding, the menu ideas, the food (when it hits) are all there. But the inconsistency, staffing issues, and volume level hold it back. Would I come back? Maybe, for the fish and grits. But only if I hear they've fixed the basics.
