I was getting my tires necessarily fixed so walked over to get some food and drink. Beer wise they had to options. But it's Saturday and this was never a plan so I'm invested at this . They had a birthday party going on but the space is so big I didn't even seem them until I walked all the way back to the bar to see them around the corner. The stage has a pole which is more to say about how the space is then anything. Like your auntie and uncle turn up space where too see someone momma hit the best moves on the dance floor but in a family reunion way. When the food came I didn't know what to expect. I did 2 meats 2 sides. But after one bite of the fries I knew this was about to be a hit. It was. I also got the bbq chicken. I was not a fan of it as it felt dry but it doesn't matter cause those ribs was the hit. It was like going to a cookout at your friends house and the husband was generous with how he loves on the ribs. It was everything. My sister, her friend, and I came on a Saturday and my experience was much better. It was only like 10 of us in there, and it was apparently one of their more slow nights but it was very welcoming and it was a good time. The bar looked much nicer and way more organized. We were asked if we wanted to do the hot sauce challenge and if we completed we got free drinks so of course we agreed lol. Friend did chicken bc she doesn't eat pork, sister did broccoli bc she doesn't eat meat, and I did ribs which is the original. I completed the challenge and even did 2 more ribs bc you're supposed to do 3. I finished em all and was the first to do it. Those ribs were delicious and the drinks are always bomb. Stumbled into here after a day at Stone Mountain Park. We had a craving for BBQ and stumbled in. The restaurant is half lounge with a wrap around bar and DJ booth. Other half is a quaint restaurant with tables and booths. The service was slow but the owner stated they had a large party the night before and just trying to recover. I was here for a relationship mixer/conversation and I arrived early enough to get food first. From the outside you wouldn't think this place is as nice as it is on the inside. The shopping center is fairly small and there isn't a lot of parking directly in front, but it is right off 78 so it's easy to access. Inside it's really spacious and nicely decorated. The bar is big and allows for a lot of seating around it then there is a large open area adjacent to the bar with more seating. They even have a raised area and a DJ booth. I sat at the bar and ordered a barbecue chicken sandwich with mac n cheese and rice. The food was good. I enjoyed the sandwich the best. It was flavorful and filling. The sides were just okay. They did not taste homemade. The price was the best part of the evening; outside of paying almost $3 for a bottle of water. I only paid $10.99 for my entire meal. Great value for what I was served. Mmmmm! Mmmmm! Everything was REALLY good, but the really exceptionally fantastic things were, in order of goodness....truly some of the very best BBQ sauce I have ever had! And I'm quite the BBQ lover. Do not miss the cabbage- I don't know what kind of smoked meat they cooked it in but it was unbelievable! Great quality of smoking to the BBQ chicken. Great cornbread- fresh and not too sweet but with a hint of sweet. It had that balance between light/airy and substantial/heavy that comes in really well baked cornbread. I recently found this diamond in the rough and was pleasantly surprised . The food is great .The owners are very friendly . I have had the hot wings ,cornbread, banana pudding, and the fried fish . This is a new restaurant on 78, I went after seeing a review on a neighborhood app. It's definitely a rough looking place when you first walk in however the food was really good! I ordered the beef brisket sandwich with Mac and cheese and fried okra and I was not disappointed by what I got. The owner I assume that he was anyway was very nice and the prices were reasonable. From the looks of the inside it appears that this is like a club at night they had a stage and dance floor and dj booth. I can't speak for how live it is at night but the food is good and that's what went there to try. I'll definitely be going back and trying some of the other things on their menu! read more

They put my mashed potatoes AND potato salad in the same container and the mashed potatoes ran into the potato salad. I had HOT gravy in my potato salad. Where do I begin? First of all, we walk in and there is no one is there to greet you so we stand there waiting. I wanted to turn and leave but the people I was with decided to stay. Wrong decision. My cousin has to walk into the bar area to ask for service. We have to seat ourselves, and had to search for a clean table. Once again I was ready to leave. We order our drinks. No wine, no sprite, what kind of establishment is this? Once again I'm ready to leave. I don't like any of their horrible beer choices so I order a vodka, soda splash of cranberry and she brings me a half full glass of vodka, flat soda with barely any ice. The most pitiful cocktail I've ever laid eyes on. My cousin's boyfriend ordered a gin and tonic and instead of a lime she brings a little plastic cup of lime juice. Seriously? They should have been embarrassed to serve this crap. Once again I'm ready to leave. But no, we order our food and it takes FOREVER for it to come and get this IT COMES IN STYROFOAM TO GO BOXES!!!! WTH???!!! We are dining in!!! The lima beans were terrible!!! The cafeteria at the hospital I work at does them better. The collards were just ok. The mashed potatoes were COLD!!!! I ordered the mega BBQ trio via DoorDash, first problem was at 1 pm the ribs weren't ready so the restaurant called me to replace the ribs with a different meat. It wasn't what I wanted to hear or I wanted but because I was hungry and hadn't eaten all day I picked something else. I ended up with fried everything (chicken, okra, pork chop) was supposed to have fish but it was missed on the plate. The sides were cabbage which tasted like someone put a whole bottle of vinegar in them and the okra which seem to be the only this that had the most flavor to it which wasn't much. The chicken was a leg quarter and had 3 holes cut into it mid fry which caused the chicken to be dry. The pork chop was over cooked and dry as well. The okra wasn't completely drained of the oil before putting it on the plate so there was a puddle on the plate where the okra was. Even though I wasn't satisfied with this plate I will however go back and actually try BBQ to give a better review off of that too read more

Some of the worst BBQ I have ever had in my life. Ever. Ordered some dinner for my mother and me through Door Dash. Ordered ribs, brisket, and pulled pork, with sides of "fried cabbage," mac and cheese, and fried okra. We received only /one/ rib, and it was so tough I threw it away. The brisket was salter than salt pork and leathery than my books, also inedible. Finally, we didn't get any pulled pork, but some sort of mystery meat which was, again, so tough it was inedible. The cabbie looked boiled, not fried, was was gross, the okra cold. The mac and cheese was the only thing that was edible, and even that was just ok. Finally, all the meat was slathered in a super-sweet BBQ sauce that I tried to rinse off to eat the meat.
