Perfectly cooked with so much flavor that I found myself reaching for them between every bite. Cup of Fries: 8/10 - Crispy and fresh, just a little saltier than I personally prefer. Medium Jerk Lamb Chops: 9/10 - Tender, well-seasoned, and packed with delicious jerk flavor. Crab Legs: 10/10! These completely stole the show. At just $7 per cluster, they're one of the best values on the menu. They came out hot, flavorful, and honestly had me wondering why more places don't offer a deal like this. For my drink, I ordered the Peach Lychee Martini made with gin, and it was just as pretty as it was delicious. It was light, refreshing, fruity, and dangerously easy to sip. What really made the night memorable was the entertainment. They had karaoke, which was so much fun, and the crowd was really into it. They also played music trivia throughout the evening, and if you won a round, you got a free shot--such a fun way to keep everyone engaged. The DJ deserves a special shoutout. First time visiting on a Saturday. We were welcomed immediately. We were seated and waited a little while for A server to come when she did she was very friendly and nice! Nae or "Hollywood" Nae is her name. She took our order. We literally waited an HOUR for food then only my food came. I tried to wait but couldn't wait any longer so I ate. I finished and ready to box my food. My husband said, let's just pay for your food I'll get something from somewhere else. As we're getting up finally here comes his pasta. Pasta was "OK" nothing to return for. I will say I enjoyed the greens. The bbq shrimp was ok and the green tomatoes were just ok not enough seasoning for me. They did have a DJ and the music was a little loud. There is a 3% charge for credit card transactions and 18% gratuity on every check. While in Covington we decided to try Shantel's right off the highway, a local restaurant and bar. I must say we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the outstanding service we received the minute we entered. We were greeted by our server Kayla and seated immediately. There were only maybe 4 other tables eating and she was responsible for them all. Her disposition was bright and cheery and she seemed happy to be there! She also let us know her menu favorites without any hesitation, which we took into consideration but ultimately went with our own choices. Prices and portions were an excellent value and time and care was put into preparation and plating. Also worth mentioning was the fun and interactive music trivia game where the DJ played songs from various eras and you could connect to an app to answer questions and compete with the other patrons in the restaurant for meal discounts and drinks. It was surprisingly fun, especially on a Tuesday and it required no interaction with other tables although we were competing. Would definitely return when in the area. read more

I had the opportunity to try this place over the weekend. We went early so there was not too many people there. Once seated the waitress came she was friendly and gave us some suggestions based on the questions we had. The food came everything looked good. The lamb chops were a 10 out of 10. The music was great, not to loud and old school rnb Playlist. The only complaints I have is once the waitress brought the food we didn't see her again until she came to ask how we wanted our check. The tip is already added into the bill I'll just say the tip she received did not add up to the service we received. All in all it is a nice place with good music and good food. read more

I went on a Tuesday specifically for their $7 crab legs and karaoke. The vibes 10/10. Great music and service. I missed the drinks happy hour since we got there at 8. I had a really nice refreshing mocktail. I initially ordered the honey hot wings for an appetizer. The wing flavor was disgusting! However, once I informed the waitress, Kayla, she offered to bring something else. I ordered the quesadillas which were good! The crab legs were hot and the butter sauce was flavorful. You can only order 5 total crab leg clusters, that's good to know before going so you don't think you can sit there eating crabs all night. Overall, I would come back! read more

Finally had an opportunity to check out Shantell's Kitchen & Cocktails. First things first -- Granny must be getting up there because all I wanted was for them to turn that noise down. The music was loud loud. I couldn't hear myself think, let alone the person sitting next to me. The service was good though -- our waitress even moved us to another area, but both sections had overhead speakers. Maybe the volume is lower during earlier hours... I don't know, chile. Now let's talk about the FOOD. The spinach dip appetizer was good, but the chips were drenched in grease. Still tasty, but worth mentioning. For the entrée, I ordered the Chicken & Fixin. Our waiter suggested substituting the Cornish hen for the honey hot whole wings -- chef's kiss. And let me add: the kale with smoked turkey and the mac and cheese were DELICIOUS We were not feeling the seafood pasta. It gave Olive Garden -- no shade, just nothing special. There's a lot they could do with that dish to make it a crowd favorite. Nevertheless, I'll be back... with my earplugs and skipping the pasta. read more

This was my first time coming here, and I ordered the Cobb salad with grilled chicken--absolutely delicious and more than enough food. I definitely recommend it. My only advice: don't pour all the dressing on at once, because it's very filling. The vibes are great--very grown-folks energy--and the place is clean and welcoming. They do karaoke on Tuesdays, which adds to the fun, and I'll definitely be back. This will not be a good review. We initially made a reservation on the website for 8:00pm March 14, 2026. We get there and they say they only have seats at the bar. I asked about us having the Reservation and the host stated she did not know because there's nothing available. So we sit at the bar service was great there, but a table open so we moved to a table after we paid for our drinks. We was able to placed our order quickly. It was about 50 minutes when we asked about our food and no response. So we left. There was a party there also, which they made every accommodation for. People was seated after us recieve food. So can only rate my drink. They should have enough people working to acknowledge and accommodate everyone. read more

Horrible service, waiter told us they were only taking drinks right now, a bunch of people walked in after us and were able to order food, we waited for over an hour with no food I ordered a summer smash mocktail, they got that wrong and didn't tell me till it was too late.
