I called to make a reservation for a NEMT ride from a surgical center to take me home because of…read morehaving had anesthesia administered. Uber & regular transportation places are not allowed to take people when anesthesia has been given. I told Amazing Love that I would be paying for the ride myself, was not Medicaid or insurance. I also told them I was having anesthesia, was quoted a price & was told the owner would have to would have to call me back to confirm the price & reservation. Okay, that didn't make sense to me, but whatever. I was also asked to text the pickup/dropoff & all info to them, which I did as soon as I hung up the phone. Three days later still no return phone call. So I called again, talked to a different person, was told that the owner did the scheduling & that she would leave a message for her to call me. I never received a call back. What kind of professionalism is this! They could have at least called & said they couldn't fit me in, or whatever, but just flat not calling me was unprofessional, & also disrespectful of my time, crunched me for calling elsewhere & meeting that place's advance notice deadlines! I guess I should have read the reviews first before calling them. It would have saved all the stress, anxiety & wasted time!
