I walked in to make an appointment as a new customer. As I was walking through the door there is a conversation going on with the hairdresser "Mitch" I believe, a nice lady and her daughter. For what I understood, he was 15 minutes late to greet them for their appointment. Then he says I do not have time for your color and cut. So the mom says, OK, please do my daughter's hair cut then, dry and style. He says "no I will only wash and cut". Very disappointed with the way they treated they turned away and left. Sadness in the little girls face. I couldn't believe what I saw. If it was me I would have given them hell! Advice for the owner: Watch your staff's time management and manners. read more

Update to the salon's response: There are numerous inaccuracies in this response, and it's hard to know where to start. To claim that I said, "I haven't had a haircut in two years" is completely false and I never made that statement. In fact, I had a haircut just a couple of months prior. This kind of fabrication only highlights the extent to which this salon is willing to go in order to avoid accountability. Contrary to what's being suggested, a refund was never offered at any point. When we asked Eli about the possibility of a refund and expressed our desire to resolve things amicably, he angrily made it clear that a refund was not an option. He even encouraged us to post the photos online, stating he was proud of his work. After the poor job he had already done, I didn't trust him to attempt to fix my hair and risk making it even worse. A quality haircut should not require extensive styling to look presentable, nor should it depend on camera angles to appear decent. The photo I shared was taken immediately after I returned home from the appointment. I am glad that if we can agree on anything, it's that the image clearly shows my hair looking bad and disheveled. Beware!!! I had a bad experience with this salon and feel compelled to share. Prior to my cut, the stylist insisted on parting my hair in the middle even though I wear my hair off center. I attempted to convince her otherwise but she was the professional so I trusted her expertise. She was adamant about doing it her way and said that this method was the only way to get a good cut. :/ As I predicted, my hair ended up lopsided and one side was obviously much shorter. It was also choppy and the layers didn't flow. People actually mentioned it to me!! I went back in to have her fix it and she acted defensive and rude as if I was somehow in the wrong.
