This salon is very cute, sunshiney bright, and very conveniently located by San Juan's little downtown area and giant parking structure. I have been here twice with Michelle and am very happy with the results. The first visit Michelle took off about 6 inches of my overgrown, out of control hair and it was so freeing to be rid of the extra weight. (mentally and physically) Michelle gave me a nice light red color and great cut my first visit. This time the color was a little darker than I was looking for but next time we should have the color down perfectly. Michelle is very sweet, a terrific conversationalist and her prices are quite reasonable. This last visit I bought a Kevin Murphy leave-in product but when I got it home, the smell was not good. I came back this weekend and Michelle happily swapped it out for a different one with a much nicer (to me) fragrance. Definitely will be back! read more

Michelle is the only person I trust to cut my hair, she is knowledgeable and a great communicator. She listens to what I want and I always walk out amazed at how great she styles my hair. This was a NIGHTMARE and the WORST experience of my life!!! I've been bleaching my hair for 25 years and had long beautiful highlighted hair until I saw the stylist LINDSEY (Labresque) VITTA who FRIED MY HAIR with the bleach ruthlessly! I came in for the full highlights. She has no clue how to use chemicals and process hair. She toasted my hair so badly, my hair became super dry, frizzy, over processed, so brittle, starting BREAKING and FALLING. Few days after the appointment, when I washed my hair at home, it became so tangled, I couldn't brush it through. Thankfully, George at the salon was very helpful detangling my hair. However, I LOST HALF of MY HAIR!!! Now my hair is at worst condition and look. Lindsey is GREEDY about money and doesn't care about the health of your care. I do not recommend her. read more

I was referred to Amanda at Diamond Salon from a friend and I'm so glad I found her. I have been wanting to do a Brazilian blowout ever since my baby was born but I was disappointed in the past with how mine turned out so I was discouraged from trying again. My friend had an amazing experience with Amanda doing her blowout so I thought I'd give it one more try. Amanda was so meticulous in making sure she got every strand of my hair straight and was very communicative with my desires as far as how straight I wanted my hair to be after the blow out.
