They told me it was $98 for the service call but that would be credited back if they did the job. Quoted me over $1000 to replace a kitchen faucet if I used their faucet. No other plumbing issues, the handle just broke off the old faucet. I asked how much the labor rate was if I just bought one and had them put it in and the guy said they couldn't tell me because it was job specific, and he'd need to see the faucet. Keep in mind this is a basic replacement, so I paid $98 for him to be in my house 10 minutes and he wouldn't even tell me the hourly rate. I went to Lowes, bought my own faucet and found a plumber to install for $135.

He also mentioned their priority service plan and looking at it seemed like a good idea so I joined. Suposed to move you to the front of the line, water heater flush, video sewer inspection etc. I had a small problem whigh I usually handle myself but at my age it's harder to do so I called them since I had been paying for priority service and asked for the services. They set me up with an appointment between 2-5. They called at 3:15 to say he was running late. I thought it was okay after all I am at the front of the line. He didn't show up till after 5 which may not have been his fault but still an issue if I had known he would have been this late I would have reschedule. Didn seem like the front of the line to me. Wearing shoe coverings, which I REALLY appreciate, he took the drain apart through the access panel in the ceiling below, cleaned all the existing components, added plumber's putty, and screwed it all back together. This shot water into my furnace completly destroying it. this company wants to pay for parts. My furnace was in perfect shape with every check up done since since purchase. Furnace is $5600 replacement. Heating company said parts would be over $3400. yesterday while pulling the heat air unit they found the wire harness fried also and several other parts destroyed that they can not replace. I believe they should take responsibility for their error. As of yet we have no settlement. I expect them to pay for the furnace air unit which they destroyed. It would be the only right thing to do.
