Summary:
I had an extremely disappointing experience with Eliaa Jewelry. After 8+ months of my piercing not healing, multiple professional piercers and a medical provider told me it was improperly placed and that my anatomy had not been properly considered. The jewelry eventually began embedding into my skin, yet when I called Eliaa for urgent help, I was repeatedly told to "soak it in salt water" and that their piercer might be available days later.
Multiple piercers refused to remove it due to liability, so I ultimately had to go to urgent care to have it medically removed. I wasted $100 and eight months caring for a piercing that now has to be redone. I'm especially disappointed because my sister and I were excited to support an Arab and Muslim-owned business, and the way this situation was handled was incredibly frustrating.

FULL POST: This is truly the worst place anybody could go to for any type of piercing. Don't think just because they are nurses, that they will do better than a professional piercing shop. First off my sister went and she was excited about supporting an Arab & Muslim owned business, so I went too. She had a terrible experience and found out when she went to another piercer to look at later, that the girl pierced her inaccurately and didn't consider her anatomy WHATSOEVER. I went before my sister discovered that, and then later found out that the reason why my piercing wasn't making progress eight months later was because of the same thing. On top of the $100 they already make their own price on, they ask for a tip at check out?? What a joke?? I literally had to sit down as I'm walking out and the girls are just staring at me and I was the one to ask for water and an alcohol pad?? "Nurses" would know how to react better, I'd never want someone as slow and incompetent to reacting to be my nurse at a hospital God forbid I needed serious medical attention. I tried to call and ask them why my stomach was reacting this way, but God forbid you get an answer from them. The biggest waste of $100 of all time, and I will now have to be repierced elsewhere. I truly don't know how they are still open, this business is a joke. The WORST experience I've had at any business, especially by a business puncturing holes in bodies.
UPDATE: Spoke with multiple piercers and all of them couldn't remove the piercing because it was a major liability. I then called Eliaa Jewelry and asked when it could be taken out by them or what will be done to consider the $100 I paid and 8+ months I spent taking care of it. The incompetent girl who picked up the phone could only suggest "soaking in salt water" as there's an active hole swallowing the jewelry. As if we haven't done that for the last 8 months. After telling her we did do that, we asked what could be done because we needed it out asap. Instead of calling the piercer all she could say "uhmmm the piercer might be in Sunday maybe then". ??? A HOLE in my body couldn't wait a few more hours LET ALONE a few days. Why do you have a girl who knows nothing about piercings speaking on behalf of them instead of directly telling me let me ask the professional and getting back to me. We are at this point yelling that something needs to be done as soon as possible because THERE IS NO PIERCER WILLING TO TAKE IT OUT BC OF THE LIABILITY!! All she is saying is soak it??? We told her that this will go on social media and taken up with every board, and suddenly she says we're threatening her?? We didn't threaten anyone's safety, we said we will get justice.
I have been told by MULTIPLE piercers and a medical provider that this was done incorrectly and she did not consider my anatomy. She walked me in, didn't even look at it from the side or even had me sit to sit how it lasts, she had me stand and within 30 seconds she puts a little dot and then punctures it.
I had to take out at the urgent care by a medical provider. A waste of $$$ and time spent taking care of it.
I am truly hurt and frustrated by how this was handled, especially by an Arab business. read more
