Elijah helped me out with my very first shoot, and I wouldn't have had nearly as comfortable nor such a success of an experience if it wasn't for his gentle demeanor, expertise, and true passion for what he does. I personally need quite a bit of direction, and encouragement with my shyness, and Elijah is incredibly easy to understand and knows his angles. Elijah is the best! In my first interaction with him.i could tell he was different than the standard wedding photographer. Before we spoke on the phone, he had looked me up on Linkedin to do a little bit of homework and that showed me he was invested in the client from the get-go. Our conversation was easy and less about the cost and hours and more about his approach. After the call, he sent me a detailed email outlining what we spoke about, with links to reviews and his portfolio, with a link specifically to his wedding work. Day of wedding, he showed up early. It was the rainiest Oct day in AZ history and we had an outside venue, and a small family run event. He saw that the groom.needed help getting things in place and he didn't hesitate to help. He took his shoes off and rolled up his trousers and helped squeegee off one of the terraces. He also moved chairs without being asked. He would come back to my bridal suite put completely back together to check on me. When the photos started, he made me and everyone else completely comfortable, introducing himself and calling us all by name. The portraits after the wedding went so quick. Guests commented on how fun and easy he was, and they were impressed by his ability to be in both right place but not in the way. Great human, great photographer. read more

Elijah did a really great job photographing my family. Due to our time restrictions we did the session in the middle of the afternoon in bright sun. Elijah not only took great shots but spent extra time editing them to reduce the glare. His rapport with the family was great including coaxing our 2-1/2 year grandson to smile and be animated.
