Reaching out to this business was straight-forward, I emailed them and a kind woman called me by phone to setup an appointment. With any questions that she didn't know the answer to, she redirected me to email it so an electrician can better answer my question. I had my appointment scheduled and the gentleman, Doc, was assigned to perform the inspection. Doc arrived on-time, was detail oriented in his inspection, and was very patient to explain his findings and recommendations on what were a safety concern first, and what could be addressed later. He explained things over the phone thoroughly and explained his thought process and was open to any questions I had without being annoyed. Within a day, I received his inspection report, a quote for the project/repairs needed, and pictures of the inspection. He was also easy to reach by text. Doc was professional, courteous, and responsive. The cost of the inspection, I think, was a decent value. I highly recommend Veteran Electric to anyone seeking a safety electrical inspection and I hope I'm able to say the same about their quality of work when I hire them for electrical projects. The sales and operations side of the project was wonderful. The administrative and project…read moremanagement by the "Project Coordinator" has been a nightmare. We made the required deposit at the end of July and we were scheduled for installation on September 23, with the possibility of it being soon as they were going to start doing 2 installs a day starting the following week. When I called on August 19 to just confirm everything was still on schedule, or if they schedule was pushed up with the 2 installations starting, I was told by the PC she had not scheduled our installation yet! It was after reaching back out to our salesman that we were scheduled as we were told. I was repeatedly to asked provide documentation of the HOA approval and the survey plat, both had been previously email twice to the PC. We have been lied to, twice, regarding the inspection results, which I ended up calling the City of Conroe myself to find out why the inspections were failing since the PC told me she didn't know why and they don't get that information. The first inspection had not failed, as I was told, as the city confirmed the initial passed. The final failed because the trenches were not filled in as they should have been. The PC blamed the trenching subcontractors and said they were supposed to have filled them in the prior week. However, the first inspection would not have passed had this happened bc that would have been the week before the inspection. A project that should have taken 5 days per the PC provided timeline took over 2 weeks, our credit card was over charged when the $1000 down payment wasn't credited to the balance due. I'm told I'll get a check in the mail rather than crediting the $1000 and the 3% fee on this money they charge to use a credit card. As far as the credit card, I was told we couldn't use our Generac issued credit card because we didn't apply through their website, we applied directly through Generac. I called the card issuer and this was not the case and had to provide the steps on how to process the transaction to the PC. I'm still waiting on a call from the owner for a week and a half since my request to speak with him and I'm not confident at all the message was relayed due to the repeated discrepancies during this whole process with the Project Coordinator. The salesman was fantastic, the subcontractors were great, but if you decide to use this company make sure all communication is via email and to keep an accounting of all the financial transactions.

I asked if there was anywhere else he could get the part since I needed it installed before closing which was 5 days away and he didn't respond. I asked him for the part number and got nothing. I asked for the model number on the furnace and got nothing. I had to get it myself and then call around for the part which I was able to find and get delivered. At the start of a major master bath remodeling, we were sent to Tri Supply in Conroe to pick out…read morebathroom fixtures by our contractor. While the showroom was fantastic and they had lots of choices, the problems we had that our sales rep caused were not handled well. We picked out everything with the Tri Supply sales rep and left. The sales rep emailed us and our contractor the pricing and we had her go ahead and order the majority of the plumbing items, over $3,000 worth. The project progressed and after most of the plumbing and all of the tile work had been finished, the plumber noticed that the parts that we had asked the sales rep to order were not the correct ones and would not work. When we questioned the rep, she said that she remembered what we told her we wanted and she did not know why she had ordered something different! After lots of discussion with the rep, she ordered a new part that would resolve the problem (not what we had originally wanted because that would have required tearing the whole shower out instead of a 4x4 section). She never offered to expedite that part and finally after waiting a week the part came in. In the meantime, the tile installer had to come and tear out the tile that had just been installed. The new part was installed and now the plumber and tile installer are redoing it. The cost for the plumber and tile installer to come back and redo the problem caused by the sales rep should have been covered by Tri Supply, not divided between the homeowner and the contractor. I would never recommend Tri Supply, they obviously don't stand behind their purchases.
