This morning, while sitting in traffic near Boca Raton, one of JVAC's marked service vans aggressively used the express lane exit to bypass traffic before forcing its way back into the travel lane. The driver continued all the way to the plastic delineator posts and nearly clipped the mirror off the pickup truck in front of me. It was an incredibly aggressive and disrespectful maneuver that reflected poorly on the company. As a business owner myself, I know employees don't always make the best decisions. I own an electrical contracting company, and if one of my employees was driving one of my marked vehicles like that, I would absolutely want someone to let me know. Insurance is expensive enough, and your company's reputation is too important to have it damaged by careless driving. I called the number on the back of the van expecting at least a little defensiveness, but I was pleasantly surprised. The owner answered, listened to my concerns without making excuses, thanked me for bringing it to his attention, and assured me he would address the issue with the driver. That level of accountability deserves recognition. We all know how difficult it is to find and keep good employees, and one employee shouldn't necessarily define an entire company. Hopefully this becomes a learning experience for the driver and helps prevent something more serious from happening in the future. While I can't comment on the quality of JVAC's HVAC work, I can say I appreciated the professionalism and accountability shown by the owner when a legitimate concern was brought to his attention.

Sidney came when he said he would, which I very much appreciate. I originally requested the Dryer vent be cleaned because my dryer was heating, but not drying after I purchased the home only a few weeks ago. He came out to inspect my vents to see if there was a need for sanitization, and to clean the vent, and thank goodness he did. Not only did he find mold in my AC unit, but he found that the dryer vent was completely disconnected and taped off. He quoted me, got the parts, and went above and beyond any expectations I ever had. He and his team came out today and cleaned the mold, sanitized the vents, installed a purifier that will keep that will help keep my air clean, and also fixed the issue with the vent so I can finally use my washer and dryer again! He was knowledgeable, kind, and really worked with me throughout. I cannot recommend this company and Sidney enough. He'll take care of you - Guaranteed.

After their technician worked on my system, my AC is now no longer cooling, and I am sitting in a hot house in the middle of a hot Florida summer with three kids. During the visit, the technician also raised concerns about my refrigerant, told me my system was much older than I had previously been told, and the diagnosis seemed to change after I purchased their warranty program--from condensation to a supposed hole in the coil and a recommendation that the system essentially needed to be replaced. I cannot prove what happened, but the timing is extremely concerning. I called Seaside to fix a drain and a leak--not to end up with an AC that no longer cools. I will not be paying Seaside to come back and repair a problem that I did not have before their technician worked on my system. I am getting an independent second opinion and strongly recommend that other homeowners do the same before allowing this company to perform additional work. Very disappointing experience.

That were filled with dust, mold, asbestos and possible lead? Year built 1974!!! This FL AC co came in knowing this and they knew my dusts had dust and unknown chemicals in it. Their job was to close off the other side of the ac duct so it doesn't blow these chemicals into the unit. The other side of my ducts went right into my bedroom too. Since I have developed breathing probs due to all this dust from MCI windows in Delray I had to leave the condo until they completed the job. When I came back into my place my throat totally closed up. I couldn't breathe. This co was supposed to cover and close up that vent and only allow the dirt and debris from my ducts to go back into their cleaning machine they used. Not have it blown out the other side of my vent where all this debris ended up! It's airborne and after spending a fortune on cleaning my place my bedroom was totally filled with dust and all these chemicals. Nothing was covered either! Everything in my bedroom was FILLED WITH DUST. My Rugs that I just had steam cleaned.
