Come the next day, they show up early in their scheduled window and got to work, less than an hour later, I paid they drove off. Major kudos to Elite Auto Glass. No one likes having to have glass replaced on their vehicles. But I had the unfortunate experience of having a broken sunroof. I contacted my insurance, and they routed me to Elite Auto Glass. They walked me through the process of getting the glass and how long it would take and how much it would cost. I was fortunate as the glass came in early and they were able to fit me in the day before the 4th of July holiday. They gave me a 2 hour timeframe for the mobile tech to come by. As is typical, traffic is terrible before a long holiday weekend. The mobile tech, Lloyd, gave me a call to let me know he'd be late. When he arrived he got right to work and finished the repair very quickly. Lloyd did an excellent job of communicating with me and replacing the glass. The car looks like nothing ever happened to it. Initial contact was friendly. We worked out a good price. I was coming in to fix a few rock crack on my car. There was no mention of what could happen after or how it would look. One was filled and they noticed that so I thought it was ok so far. When I got to my car after 30 mins of fixing I noticed that the one of the cracks had a larger crack coming out of it, larger than when I brought it in, which means more fixing to involved down the line. The other cracks I fixed had very strong discoloration and smudging like they stuffed a bunch of goo and called it a day. I talked to the glass technician about the large goo mess and they said that was how its supposed to look like. Compared to the one i've down previously it was comparably much more invisible while these are very visible. I called back the next day and was able to get a refund but now I am going to spend more money potentially getting a new windshield. They absolutely did not see the larger crack or badly very visable looking "fix" as any of their wrong doing and kept saying we told you beforehand that it wouldnt be cosmetic just stops the cracks getting worse which they didnt. I wouldn't recommend going here to get a rock crack repair and from some of the previous reviews windshield replacement are not good here also. read more

I seriously hate trucks. I can't wait for trucks to be automated because the trucks that travel from the Port of Oakland to the rest of the state and country along Interstates 580, 80, 5, and 99 pretty much all drive like jerks. Every single one goes over the truck limit of 55 mph and the worst is when they decide to pass one another by taking over the fast lane and slowing down traffic. If trucks were automated, they would all be going 55 mph and there would be fewer accidents. But my biggest gripe with trucks and the bane of all non-truck drivers are the damn rocks and rock chips they kick up that land like freaking bullets on people's windshields. And because of these trucks, my windshield had multiple cracks. So I ended up replacing it with Safelite for $$$. Sadly, after less than a month, another truck kicked up a rock onto my windshield and my newly replaced windshield had a brand new crack. Knowing that the longer I waited, the larger the crack would become, I searched Yelp and found Elite Auto Glass. I called Elite Auto Glass and spoke with the owner, John, who gave me a reasonable quote and said he could patch the chip. I showed up the next day and John fixed my crack right away. He even gave me a locals only discount. After less than 20 minutes, my cracked window was patched and I was on my way to get hit by more rocks. The sad part is that I know I will be back since I will undoubtedly be hit by more rocks. However, at least I know John of Elite Auto Glass is in town to fix the cracks when needed. * Look up "truck accident bay area" and see all the fatal crashes. read more

FINALLY an auto glass place that does what they say, when they say they will do it. After 6 (yes, 6!) no shows from Safelite Auto Glass I was given the option to choose the company I would like to replace the windshield in my 2022 F-150 Lightning. Safelite absolutely could not figure out which windshield was supposed to go on my truck. I had so many cancellations and part mix-ups, delaying the replacement from when I made the claim in June to the end of September. I was put in touch with Elite by my insurance company and I was immediately aware I was in a better place. Elite stated they would use the VIN of my vehicle to find the correct part and call me back in 15 minutes to schedule the replacement. They called me back in 5 minutes and said they ordered the correct part and would be out in two days (one to receive the part, replacement the following day) to complete the work. The appointment was set for sometime between 9am and 11am. Elite showed up at 8:55am ready to do the work. What a difference from Safelite! The work was completed quickly and correctly the first time and I am now finally driving around with a crack-free windshield! I cannot more highly recommend an auto glass shop than I can recommend Elite Auto Glass. If you're looking around, look no further. This company is first rate! read more

Great work! No scuffs on my trim and everything was put back together perfectly. They offer oem or FY (Fuyao) glass. At least for my car (MX-5 Miata ND). They answered all of my questions and ordered the additional oem trim around the windshield that gets damaged during removal. They also performed recalibration of my lane assist sensor on site.
