At 1:10pm, Jose responded with the cost and soonest they could service, which was the following day (Monday)! He quickly answered all my questions about what times and how long it would take. Jose provided a 2-hour window and said the tech would call or text when he was on the way - which he did. Then showed up on time and did the install at a competitive price for mobile service. J&J Auto replied in less than 10 minutes on a Sunday; had an appointment less than 24 hours of contacting them; and came to us! Only feedback I can give: (1) share available options for payment in advance of appointment - there was no tapper for a credit card, but they accepted Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, etc; and (2) be more thorough with vacuuming out the glass debris from the car. While on a trip to Las Vegas, a big rock was kicked up by a truck and smacked hard into the windshield on the passenger side. In addition to a pretty sizeable divot, a crack snaked its way across the glass, but fortunately the whole didn't shatter in the middle of I-15. We thought maybe we wouldn't need to replace the windshield at all, but over the following couple of months the crack slowly extended and we knew we had to do something. We contacted our insurance company and they initially put us in touch with a well-known chain with a catchy jingle. After seeing their appalling reviews on Yelp, we asked our insurance if we could find someone of our own choosing. They agreed but cautioned us that some local companies don't work directly with insurance. Fortunately for us, J&J was willing to work with our insurance. Communication with them was very easy through the Yelp portal, and they responded quickly to all my messages. They arrived precisely on time on the agreed date. Work was done quite expediently. It was very high quality work, and so far there haven't been any problems such as leakage in the car wash. All we had to pay was the deductible and everything else was settled through insurance. Their process does require you first contact Safeflite, but after that you can request the job be assigned to J&J. I just realized I didn't post my review for J&J Auto Glass for the windshield replacement work on my Outback back in 2023. Sorry I forgot the name of the gentleman who did the work, but he was fantastic (this part I remember)! I asked if he could come at a vacant parking lot close to my office. I also asked for OEM windshield instead of aftermarket. He arrived on time, and got things rolling right away. Since my office is near I actually checked on the progress from time to time. I could see first hand the attention to details the gentleman had. And the EyeSight tuning after the replacement windshield is installed. I am very happy. He even gave me a free pen! I hope you don't actually need to call him (no cracked/damaged windshields), but if you do, reach out you won't be disappointed! (Not sure if he still gives out the pen though) read more

I had asked James for a recommendation because I'm really not fond of having any vehicle work done by a company I know nothing about, especially being a woman & one who moved from out of state and not knowing much about the businesses around the area. I can say I am very happy with the work they did! The window was replaced in a short amount of time. I was expecting it to be rather expensive since I have an older vehicle & the windows for it are scarce. I was very pleased with price I was charged. Pros: + Quick response and easy scheduling. + Technician arrived on time and was polite. Cons: - Asked me to park under a shed for shade- which I was happy to do - but when I suggested keeping the car level, he said "level doesn't matter". - Arrived without a vacuum to clean the pinch-weld or roof liner. I had to prep the frame myself using cleaner and compressed air. - Refused my offer of a towel to protect the dashboard from debris. - Did not use a proper wiper arm removal tool, increasing risk of damage. - Ignored the OEM alignment spacers I supplied ("not needed") and used no measuring/alignment tools to center the glass. Claimed none were necessary. - Windshield ended up ~2-3 mm off-center--tight on one side, wide gap on the other. - Urethane bead was uneven. - Interior plastic and roof-liner gaps now misaligned, causing noise. Follow-up: Owner came as agreed, but insisted spacers and windshield centering "aren't required" and offered no fix. Refunded the cost of my OEM moldings and spacers, and offered a full refund if he could take his glass back. Bottom line: Friendly scheduling. But I'll now have to redo the installation. read more

Great service and very fair prices. We had the option of replacing my Jeep windshield with the factory glass with badging or after market. Jeeps are known for getting cracks in the windshields due to the angle, so over about 10 years I've used their service 3 times between my two wranglers. They came to my work and replaced the windshield in the parking lot. Talk about convenient and $100's cheaper than safelight quoted me. My Lexus moonroof was making a noise when you drive on a bumpy/ uneven road. There was no noise on a nice road. moonroof had no leak of any kind. Lexus Dealership told me to replace the seal and retorque it with a price tag of over $1800. Jose from J&J Auto Glass, who I had reached out to for help, came to see the problem. Spent 5-minutes to adjust the side seal, and the noise was gone. Jose did not even charge for his visit. Our plans were foiled, when our windshield was suddenly shattered by a seagull who made a low dive out of nowhere. It took a couple of email exchanges to determine the proper part, after which they said they would send Sam this morning at 11:00, and that he would text/call when he was on his way. I messaged several auto glass replacement groups through the Yelp system. José was extremely responsive and thorough in his communication. He even helped me understand how to initiate the claim through my insurance and request his auto glass replacement service as my preferred vendor instead of the default group. Jose let me know that my Audi brand windshield was covered equally as the offbrand, so naturally I selected the Audi glass. I appreciated Jose prompt and thorough communication and always addressing my questions patiently and clearly explained. Jose came on site to replace my windshield and was done within 45 minutes. I had to make a separate appointment to bring my car in to re-calibrate the windshield sensors. I prefer this option so that I didn't have to leave my car at an auto shop and wait around for four hours. The second step of sensor calibration took about one hour at the San José location.
