However, since I was home sick, my husband checked their work once completed. He wasn't satisfied with a few things and thought they weren't as thorough as you could have been. The kitchen floor was still dirty in front of the kitchen door and all he did was take a wet paper towel and clean it up. They did mention the kitchen floor being a laminate was difficult it is to clean, but on the other hand, clean water without a chemical and a paper towel did the job. Same thing with the kitchen counter - there was sticky residue from an adhesive countertop paper the tenant had used and my husband had to clean it off the edges. Crystal Klear did get the top stickiness off but didn't it go around to the edge to remove it. My husband cleaned that as well. Also splattered paint that was on the baseboards and also the toilet from the painter weren't addressed, and my husband just picked off the drips with his fingernail to clean it away. One more thing, there was a label on the tank part of a toilet that wasn't removed and just left there. Although specifically not mentioned in my directives, I would think that they would take that off when they cleaned. When I received an email asking how they did, I replied with everything above and I never received a response in return. Very disappointing that the communication was excellent before the job, but when I pointed out things after they were done, dead silence. I don't think I would use them again. Although our investment properties in Oswego are on the older side, I still expect attention to detail with a cleaning service to get the place ready for a new tenant.

There was actual light rays reflecting from my granite counter-tops due to a thorough wipe-down. Frank also mentioned they used germicide cleaner for showers and bathroom sinks. I was very happy to hear that. Not only did they work fast, but they were very thorough. They completed all rooms in the estimated amount of time and added finishing touches as an added service with no extra charge. When I told her there's dust in the corner of the countertop that meets the vertical part, she first said they don't clean the back splash and they cleaned the countertop twice but there was just too much dust. First of all, isn't back splash a part of kitchen, which was included in the original quote? Second, as a customer, I don't really care how you clean a certain place, but I do want all the dust is removed. Price looked high to me at first, but in researching the issue, the $2,575 was on the lower side for such work. Still, I decided to get a few more quotes. What a mistake. Of the 12 electricians I contacted only 6 returned my call. Four didn't show up, one told me my entire system was shot and needed to be replaced, and one just played games. I contacted Jay on May 19. He fit me in his busy scheduled for May 20 and 21. It was about an 8 hour job over two days. The work is professional. My disconnect was an old "fuse type" that was badly rusted and a fire hazard. Some wires were hanging unnoticed and could have been an electrocution hazard. Jay handled the project with professionalism, knowledge, and found the right electrician to handle the job. I don't mind paying what is a fair price for an excellent job.
