When I say this place gives you a FULL BODY WORKOUT!!!!! Listennnnnnn they are absolutely incredible! I've gone on two different occasions and I left wanting to play the Rocky soundtrack! I felt like I conquered the world! The first time I trained with Jon and the second with Rachel! Both workouts had me questioning any donut or chips I had ever consumed in life! Lol but in all seriousness, it's soooo worth it! The studio is clean, smells nice, not too pushy or "salesy" just loving, and caring environment. Also there is parking but be mindful that it's in a plaza so if you don't get there on time, you may be late for class. Class also goes by really quick once you've got into it, but you've gotten a really intense workout in less than an hour. Give them a try.

The absolute best workout! You'll walk away feeling so accomplished with every single workout. Each workout is unique with so many different techniques on the reformer machines. Don't mistake this for Pilates it is so much more than that. I absolutely love every single coach at this gym. They are attentive, kind and so helpful! They genuinely want you to succeed and I feel like I'm working with a personal trainer at less than half the cost! I've tried a lot of different gyms and classes in the triangle area like rowing, barre, cycling, yoga and Elite Core has been my favorite. I always feel that good kind of sore the next day post workout showing me that my efforts were not in vain. In the 3 weeks of classes that I've been to, I feel so much stronger and things feel more toned and tightened. Love it!

Awesome workout! A great blend of strength training and cardio using cool resistance machines that work the whole body lead by energetic and helpful trainers. What a perfect way to burn off our holiday pounds! Today was their grand opening so me and the whole family came to try out a class. We're all at different fitness levels and all had a fun and challenging workout.

Update 1/2020: I hate 3G sessions. 3G is when you have three groups Rather than the normal two…read moregroups an orange 60 session. An orange 60 session has up to 24 people. And orange 3G session has up to 36 people. That little space is already crowded with 24 people. It is horrible when there are 36 people in there. I am pretty sure the only reason they do 3G sessions is because of more demand for certain time of day. For example a lot of people want to work out on Saturday and Sunday mornings. So they do the 3G sessions. The heart rate monitors are off and not reliable. It seems like every other session mine cuts out on me for a few minutes. I see other people struggling with theirs as well. I don't know if there's a manufacturing defect in a lot of them or something else. But you pay 100 bucks for that Little monitor that cost the studio probably less than five dollars. They should be quick to replace them when they don't work. Or maybe change the technology. One thing that needs improvement is the sound system. If you are on treadmill seven your ears get blown out. Where as on treadmill number one it is a little too quiet. Also can you please figure out a simple hook for those straps. They are always falling off and swinging out. How hard could it be to buy some sort of little hook for them. Rather than trying to hook them on the dumbbell stand? One good thing this studio did in 2020 Was to put a five minute gap between class end and and the next class start time. That does help with the crowdedness at the locker area. I wish this studio would move into a larger space. It is still super tight in the waiting area. Hopefully their lease will end soon and the owner will get smart and move to a bigger space in the same shopping center. My review for 8/2019: Hello. I really like orange theory. i cannot find your "freeze" policy. Can u post a link please

It doesn't say anywhere that showing up exactly 30 minutes before class is required. A lot of planning went into us getting to OT for an 8a class (we are four moms) but that didn't change anything. Lack of support/encouragement from a gym is honestly shocking. Not sure if we should be working out at a gym that doesn't care about their members.

What we love is walking/jogging loop upstairs very useful when outside gets too hot or cold which is almost 70% of the year here in NC. There are enough weight machines, sometimes one has to be flexible to rotate. The swimming pool and sauna is a nice addition. We haven't explored the classes they have some are paid and some are free. The employees are attentive and respectful and hours open are quite wide to meet almost everyone's needs.

Club Lifetime, it's perfect. I am a working professional who goes to the gym in the early am (5:00-7:00) is the time I frequently go and my workouts are completed in a timely manner with room to hit the sauna if desired. I do know this is a family staple. there are many kids/teens during later hours but I avoid them easily with my regimen and timeframe! The price is great for a pool, sauna, classes and equipment. If your looking to be social, meet friends and more it's possible but to say this hospital affiliated fitness center is not clean as most gyms is ridiculous, if anything they are getting inspected far more than most centers being in relationship with UNC. Lastly because I have history here, the morning staff (Meg and crew your awesome humans) are the best, they get to know your name personally and help whenever needed! The sauna does not have split wood, I know bc I've been going for almost 5 years now and lastly it's worth every penny I can go to the gym as a single woman comfortably which is most important.

I had their 1 year membership for $99 per month for about 2 years. I split my time between the 2…read moreCary locations because they were close to work and it was easy to go right after work. I enjoyed their 4:30 afternoon classes and some of their Saturday classes. Many Barre studios only give you access to one location, so I loved that they gave you access to multiple. They also had fun events to encourage you to work out more. They usually had different barre socks than the Kildare location, for $18 per pair. Their Pure Barre app made it easy to sign up or cancel classes too.

When I think of barre, I think of perky, petite young women gracefully poised beside it, doing…read morepliés and point... building up their slender legs to support and sustain them with an incredible combo of strength and flexibility. The workout trend Pure Barre is designed around getting that dancer body... But through totally different means! I'm talking dubstep. Blasting as girls place kickballs between their thighs, then squat, tuck, and tooch (to borrow a term coined by Miss Tyra). It's true: I never thought I'd be booty-tooching to Scrillex... outside the privacy of my own home. The workout started with some simple stretches and upper body routine, and some floor work in the form of plank and pushups. They only have dumbells in 2, 3, and 5 pounds. The short number of reps and low weight made this section of class completely un-challenging for me. But that disappointment was eased by the next part, where we stepped to the barre and focused on hips, thighs, and --as they like to delicately call it in Pure Barre-- "seat*." [*I don't have a seat. I have a bubbalicious boo-tay. Which is why I wanted to go to this class in the first place. So for clarification purposes in this review, my seat will instead be termed butt.] The most annoying thing for me was that the instructor demonstrated very few of the positions (perhaps due to lack of space on the barre); and it was difficult for me to follow her instructions some of the time. Many of the movements are so isolated, it's hard to look at a classmate and copy from what they're doing too. So parts of it did not feel tough... which left me wondering if I was doing the movement correctly. But other parts had my entire lower body shaking like a leaf, butt and quad muscles on fire. And I absolutely felt those muscles recovering the following 48 hours, so I know I did at least some of the things right! Class finished up with some ab work, which I also felt was too easy, and some finishing stretches. One hour flies by pretty quickly. And I can definitely see the appeal in a class that's shaped like this... getting all the core muscle groups into one workout. But I would personally prefer a class that focuses exclusively on the lower body, to round out my own exercise regimen and perhaps benefit my running as well. I did a drop-in class that was specially priced at $10; reasonable. (Their regular drop-in is $23.)
