It's remarkable how well they know each kid, and everything they are dealing with both in and out of dance. They also enforce a policy of all the kids being nice to each other. Everyone applauds for everyone else, everyone thanks the teacher at the end of each class, everyone works hard and is supportive of each other. The studio is growing along with my daughters, so that there are always challenging classes to take and interesting things to learn. They have been given wonderful opportunities not just to perform and to compete, but also to do things like dance at local cultural festivals and for seniors in a care facility. She started in Tippy Toes and Tappy Feet and is now part of the competitive troupe dancing in all types of dance... Ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, clogging, musical theater, hip hop, acro, and liturgical. If you are looking for a community that doesn't base their entire "being" on winning but on fostering the love of dance and expression this is a great place for your kids. It's a great combination of age appropriate ballet activities mixed with ballet terminology and moves. (And I'm not knocking her review that was her experience and I'm sad to hear it because my family has been going to this studio for over seven years now) I can say currently someone is always designated to the office and the teachers are on time. I am proud to now be taking my 3 year old here. The teachers are very patient with them even with the ones who don't know what they are doing.
